Pros: I have stayed at this particular location on 6 separate occasions and have had great experiences here every time. Its my go-to hotel in the San Antonio area, and is very close to the Airport. The staff have always been friendly and professional, the rooms are comfortable, and they even provide free breakfast, dinner and alcoholic beverages. I typically don't take the time to leave reviews, but i honestly feel they deserve the praise.

Pros: The hotel had just gone through a renovation, so it smelled new and clean. It was very clean; the staff courteous and friendly, very helpful with directions; they had a shuttle that would take and pick you up you anywhere within 2-3 miles of the hotel; it was close to a mall, Walmart, several places to eat, and the interstate; and plenty of free parking; they had late night shuttle service (12am) and early morning shuttle service 4am for airport departures ). This was my first time staying at a DI, I'm planning my next trip to SAT and will definitely stay at the airport Drury Inn.

Pros: I have stayed at this location before so I noticed that it has been fairly recently been redecorated. The carpeting and furnishings are new. It is well kept and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was delicious as usual with a variety of options. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
Cons: The only drawback was the lack of a protein choice, besides the hotdogs, at kick back. The chicken and or meatballs are missed.

Pros: Approximately 25 minutes from Lackland AFB for those traveling for BMT graduation. 4 restaurants within walking distance and a Walmart for snacks and drinks in the room. Full size fridge and microwave. 12pm checkout was nice, and just a few miles from the airport. There was no jet noise however. Easy on and off 410 loop.

Cons: Under renovation and some things were missing. In our room, the shade part of our curtain was missing so all we had was a dark privacy curtain. Also we were not informed during our check in or reservations that the pool and gym were going to be closed for renovation. Something to be noted is the lack of a dresser with drawers to put your clothes. We were staying for four days and the shelves provided in the closet were not very accommodating.

Pros: Everything would have bee nice if there were cameras or guards or some sort of protection at night.
Cons: I had my truck stolen at the property and they didn't have any cameras. Apparently, there was a guard at night but maybe he was sleeping or something. No one saw anything. The truck as just suddenly there. The hotel is tucked away in a little corner and I guess is frequented by carnappers. The staff was polite but basically was just given a "that sucks, sorry." I had to ask the La Quinta across the street if they had cameras and they did but, unfortunately, nothing that was pointed at the TownePlace property. I wish I didn't have to have to ask another hotel to maybe see the parking lot. I feel like the hotel should have done something more to be helpful or SOMETHING. Sure, you've got a lot of signs out saying park at your own risk but if you can't ensure my property isn't safe while I stay at your hotel then I will definitely not stay here again.

Pros: This hotel is clearly older than ones that I have stayed in the past. I had a suite which was perfect for my needs The staff were extremely friendly and prompt when it came to requests. The restaurant was okay but overpriced for the quality of food. Also, the location was not really inconvenient if you did not have a car as you were surrounded by mostly corporate office buildings. However, for a 1-2 night stay, it was fine.

Pros: I had to book this place last minute because my flight got diverted to San Antonio because of storms. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but the place was extremely clean, comfortable and had great amenities. The front desk staff were awesome and let me know that the shuttle could take me to eat at some select places to eat and that there was a Chinese food place that delivered. It's also right next door to a Specs which after a long hectic flight was a welcome development. The shuttle form the airport showed up quickly after I called from the airport. I thought I'd be able to hear a lot of noise and planes from the hotel, but it was surprisingly quiet. If I find myself flying into San Antonio I'd definitely stay there again!

Cons: Upon check in I was told that because I booked through an online 3rd party they couldn't guarantee my room preference. AND I was told that I just happened to have secured the last room available and I was lucky I showed up when I did. I asked for a king bed, I got 2 double beds and I asked for a non-smoking room and got a room that was surrounded by 'smoking rooms' (why do those even exist anymore?). I usually book directly with hotels - because this is not the first time I have used a third party for hotel reservations only to be treated poorly by hotel staff and/or not end up with what I booked.
