Pros: The breakfast was excellent in quantity and quality.. The rooftop swimming pool and bar provided a private spot and wonderful views.

Cons: Given Rio's reputation for crime, I didn't know how safe the immediate neighborhood was. However, with a supermarket nearby, various retail stores, and people coming and going, I assumed that it was an ordinary, safe neighborhood.

Pros: The inclusion of breakfast was excellent and the quality of the food provided was very good so too the waiter service. Proximity to the beach and to shops and restaurants.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Pros: Excellent location and breakfast. Rooftop was great, overlooking Copacabana. Good gym facilities with a couple treadmills, weights, and bike . They offer umbrellas and towels for the beach.

Cons: Although we did find our room clean, not much cleaning was done during our stay. They were coming every day to make the beds, but the cleaning in the bathroom was very messy. They even forgot to empty the garbage one day. Not the friendliest reception staff I have come across. Poor to non English speakers staff throughout the hotel. Renovation is necessary, especially for the bathrooms. Beach towels were in terrible state with holes (!!).

Cons: Tim Angela like urine. Beds are horrible with plastic sheets. Noisy renovations all day.

Pros: Perfect location and very nice staff

Pros: The hotel is very good. The stuff speaks perfect English, which is rear in Brazil. The breakfasts is the best I have ever had - every morning freshly baked pastries, fresh fruit, variety of juices, everything you can dream of. We had view of the beach, so it was amazing. The room was good size. The hotel has its own beach, you can use umbrellas and chairs for free.

Cons: Couple of the days the cleaning cru came to clean the room around 5pm when we were just coming back form the beach. The buggiest negative was the stuff that manages the beach. The guy would not put the chairs and umbrellas until after 9:30. The first day we went to the beach we brought our own water and he told us we have to buy the drinks from his beach bar ( he does the beach management for Arena on the site ) or if we bring our own we have to pay for the chairs and the umbrella. I asked the hotel and they said this is absolutely incorrect. Until at least noon he will be cranky, not friendly at all. One of the mornings we went to the beach, it was very hot. He had all the chairs set up and was putting up the umbrellas. There were about 6 or 7 rows of chairs, and he had started putting the umbrellas form the back forward. We took the first row of chairs, the closest to the wetter, he saw us standing there, was VERY hot, pretended did not see us and continue putting umbrellas on the back. I had to go and ask him to give us an umbrella, he did not even look at me, came and put the umbrella with such attitude like it was my fault he has to work that day. I would recomend the Arena hotel to think about replacing this guy, he gives the hotel bad name, which other than this is absolutely amaizing. Given that people book these hotels for the beach and spend most of their time on the beach, it is kind of important to have a friendly stuff there to make the stay plesurable and not frustrating one.

Pros: Food was awful! Service was poor! We booked a family room for 4 people and it was tiny - you could hardly fit us and the luggage in the room! It smelled bad - they did change the rooms but we should not have to!

Pros: Location is great,the private beach really good .You being able to leave your stuff and go for a swim without a worry.Staff really friendly.You just feel at home.Rooms are really awesome and the sea view is great.Beds are comfortable.and room service is really good.

Cons: Gym to small .Roof Bar the Drinks are really small for the price you pay.Very small glasses for high prices.Swimming pool water not really that clean.Breakfast always the same no big variety it's the same products every day. ground level toilets you need your room key to open witch could be a problem if your kids need to use the toilet on a hurry .

Pros: Very nice staff, breakfast was varied, late check out allowed until 2pm and you can leave your staff at the reception for later

Pros: It's nice, and compare it the Windsor Excelsior there isn't much difference so for the saving of some money this one is a nice option. Although it doesn't have a swimming pool...not sure if it has a gym, I don't remember. (The Excelsior has both of these and a better view as it has the beach front, this is tucked right behind the Excelsior, almost like it's basement haha) But it's very clean, very comfortable, good location, very nice breakfast! But there are better places to stay in Copacabana that the Windsor chains.

Cons: Wasn't a big fan of the staff. Poor at communicating before we arrived via email. My parents had already checked out in the morning and then moved their stuff into my room as I was staying another night. Then as they went to leave in the evening we were stopped as they did not believe that they had already done their checkout which delayed them with their taxi already waiting outside. Air con was waaaaay to cold and the thermostat would not change. Location was not where booking.com said it would be - but that isn't the hotel's fault obviously.

Pros: The staff were wonderful. Always so helpful and we are from the United States. We liked this hotel so much we came back. This is our second time. One block from Copacabana beach. Loved it!

Cons: Room could have been bigger for two. There was little room for luggage and no luggage rack.

Pros: The rooftop pool is lovely, small but nice and quiet. The breakfast was also good and continental style. My flight also landed very early and I told the hotel this before arrival and they were able to give me a room.

Cons: I stayed for 4 nights. The check in process itself was very long and I wasn't acknowledged at all initially. My first room was by the elevator and had construction outside therefore noisy and I asked if I could move rooms which they did, but I felt like I was being a nuisance to them. English wasn't great so communication was hard and the photos on the booking were misleading as they are of one of the few refurbished rooms which I didn't have (my room was very dated). On the last night we asked reception to help us book a dinner reservation which should have been quick, but this took around 10-15 minutes.

Pros: Breakfasts!

Pros: Location. Close to Copacabana Beach.

Cons: The price was a huge downer.

Pros: Hotel was adequate for the price paid. Rooms were clean and comfortable and located 2.5 blocks from the beach. Staff helpful.

Pros: Overall is good. Location is not far from the beach, close to shopping mall rio sul and nearby entertainment options. Breakfast was good enough. Building and reception is nice.

Cons: Facilities...sauna was old and smell very heavy, fitness room and pool is small. Room was not pleasurably furnished, but was ok.

Pros: The attention and staff is great. Good to see new years eve in Copacabana

Cons: Price for the night is very expensive even of is NYE. The hotel is quite old and classy, they have a lovely terrace but not party or celebration like the ones closest

Pros: The pool, the breakfast, the staff were very helpful and an easy walk to the beach

Cons: It was excellent so nothing to dislike
