Cons: Although the website had promised a gym or fitness room, there is no such facility: only a spa for massage and facials and similar treatments. The location in Sta Theresa is interesting for a couple of days but not the most convenient for longer.

Pros: The public rooms were very impressive and definitely had the 'wow' factor going on. The terrace and bar were great places to hang out and while away a few hours. I would recommend the hotel for these things alone.
Cons: There was no directory in the room which explained the facilities and how the tv worked. Also coffee was on offer on the room service menu but when requested I was told to go down to the bar. The loo was not fixed to the floor and wobbled quite significantly (rather disconcerting) and there was no cold water in my room on arrival so I had to have an extremely hot shower.

Cons: We heard the neighbors partying all night long. We had to get up at 3AM for a flight, so it was totally disturbing.

It would be nice to have something other than wieners served with teh scrambled eggs. Perhaps Bacon or Pancakes would be more substatntial. Calgary, Alberta Canada.

Cons: Asked for non-smoking - smell of cigarettes throughout hotel. Dirty room. AC would not shut off except by pulling plug.

Cons: I would suggest that they change their Mattresses and pillows to be something other than very hard rubber. The bed was most uncomfortable. Perhaps try some mattress that are being sold in one of the business on the same street as the Hotel Granada. Your website indicated that use of the internet was free to individuals staying on the premises, when in fact we were charged $2.00 for each 10 minute period we used. Calgary Alberta

Cons: I was over-charged for an extra bed I requested, but hotel were unwilling or unable to repay this to me. This I found very strange! Of course, if I owed them money it would be no problem for them to debit my card. I was treated as if this over-charge was my fault (in fact it was the fault of either booking.com or the hotels own reservations dept.)

Cons: We booked a room with a jacuzzi but when we tried to use it there was water all over the bathroom. There was an intense smell of smoke in the room. I asked the staff to take care of it but it didn't work and the smell remained during our whole stay.

Cons: The hotel was very overpriced for the quality of the rooms and service. The windows kept out no noise whatsoever so it was difficult to sleep.

Cons: Dirty walls, bugs and roaches in room, old, broken furniture, old blankets and pillows, barely functioning fan, WiFi works less than 20% of the time. Hotel needs lots of care to be a basic hostel/hotel: currently more of a last resource with a high price (even during Canraval).

Pros: What I liked best was that the reception staff made every effort to help me, especially the one who spent a long time on the phone trying to help me locate my delayed luggage from the airport. He was friendly and polite and I appreciated his help a lot. The rooms and facilities were more than adequate for my needs, and the buffet breakfast choice was great. The price was excellent. I'd definitely stay there again.

Cons: Internet is not working 100% of the time. My neighbor is very noisy after hours but I guess it is just that room, can't blame the hotel for this.

Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but Centro is not the greatest location in Rio; not the cleanest or most interesting part. Having said that, I felt safe, and saw good nightlife including locals Capoiera dancing in the square.
