Pros: This hotel is one of the best we've stayed in so far. Clean and modern, the facilities were well kept and new. The staff was very nice and accommodating. From cleaning staff to front desk, everyone greeted you and you came and went. The rooms were neat and the bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. I would say if you have just carry-ons, it was a good size. If you have bigger luggage it might be a tight fit. There are washers and dryers on site. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours in a very spacious and hip recreation area. The front desk staff can speak English and Japanese. Something very convenient is a sign on the wall near the front desk that indicates when people who speak different languages are available. It was such an enjoyable stay.

Pros: This hotel is one of the best we've stayed in so far. Clean and modern, the facilities were well kept and new. The staff was very nice and accommodating. From cleaning staff to front desk, everyone greeted you and you came and went. The rooms were neat and the bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. I would say if you have just carry-ons, it was a good size. If you have bigger luggage it might be a tight fit. There are washers and dryers on site. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours in a very spacious and hip recreation area. The front desk staff can speak English and Japanese. Something very convenient is a sign on the wall near the front desk that indicates when people who speak different languages are available. It was such an enjoyable stay.

Pros: The hotel was good. Based on the description from the hotel it was easy to find it. I did not like that it is not possible to check-in before 3pm (but that unfortunately is very common for most hotels in Japan). What was really nice is that the hotel allowed me to use their lounge before 3 pm (I arrived around 9 am after a long flight from Europe), so I could comfortably use their internet (WIFI), make the Japanese sim card work, i.e. relax a bit in a quite room (lounge was simple , but perfectly fine, and it was empty for most of the time). I also got an upgrade to a better room, and the room was good. A small minus - it was not possible to open a window, but maybe then it would be somewhat loud during the night. With a closed window, noise was not an issue. Everything was clean, and nice to have a mini kitchenette. Very happy with the hotel. Price could be cheaper, but that is always like that. The breakfest was average, fine for one day, but if one stays for several days, then the choice is too small and maybe not worth to pay for it.

Cons: The standard room was cramped. The third bed was a sofa couch that was uncomfortable, the worst of the hotels that we stayed at. The red throw pillows on the beds were gross and obviously stained. We immediately threw them in the closet. The bathroom was very dated with ivory colored toilets, but white toilet seat. That combination made it look like the toilet was permanently stained. The refrigerator could not maintain a cold temperature regardless of the setting.

I know that rooms are small in Japan and I have stayed in other hotels in Japan, but this one is extremely small, the colours in the room are dark which makes the room dark. The wall, bed and facilities are old. More importantly, it's not that clean! The table was dusty and had stains. The towel had hair! When I made the booking, it said there is city view. However, it's only a few buildings outside of the window, and you call that a "city view'?!

Complete disappointment with booking .com and hotel wasn’t helpful either. Cons: It would be great if they had a bit of variety in their breakfast buffet. It would also be nicer if you can watch TV with an option to have English subtitles at the very least. They can also improve the wifi because the signal was very erratic. Other than those, everything was great and we had a wonderful stay.

From Dotonbori, you can reach Shinsaibashi shopping street quite easily, and walking down the stretch of Kuromon Market will bring you to Den Den Town. Also, there are 3 convenience stores right around the corner. You can reach the Sakaisuji and Sen-Nichimae Lines fairly easily as the station exit is only 5 minutes away from the hotel. If you are traveling to or from Kyoto (assuming you stay around the Kawaramachi area), staying at this hotel is a very good choice. The room itself is small like most of the hotels you are going to get in cities like Osaka and Tokyo, where there is just enough space to open a piece of large size luggage and you will have to tip-toe around the room to get to the toilet or bed. The bathroom itself is adequately equipped, and the bed is quite comfortable. There is also an air purifier in the room if you feel that the air in the room is very dry or if there are many dust particles.

Cons: If you want to check out later, you will have to pay 1,000 yen for each hour of extension. We also do not have many hangers or even a wardrobe where we can hang our clothes. Again, you can work around this by hanging your clothes in the bathroom or stuff them into your luggage (it was not much of an issue for us). The air conditioning is controlled by a knob with no numerical markings on it so you are just going to trial and error with it. On our first day, the room was quite dusty which made the sleep a little uncomfortable, but better on the subsequent nights perhaps due to the air purifier and room service.

We decided to rest in and turned down the housekeeping, but asked the towels to be changed. It is clearly a modular-built hotel, and one has to expect certain compromises in terms of structure - for instance the room and the bathroom are small and there was no external air circulation, but these are minor observations. Great for those who aim for a shopping spree. Helpful receptionist, communicable in English. Thoughtful the housekeeper. My wife caught a cold one day. We decided to rest in and turned down the housekeeping, but asked the towels to be changed. The housekeeper knew that we were asleep, so she, instead of waking us up, put the towels in one bag and hanged it onto the dock knob.
Cons: The only pity was that the mattress was way too soft. It has no support for your back. I had have my waist sore for the whole trip.

Cons: Either I was unlucky or... 1) I had to change room every day. My first room's ceiling leaked. Like REALLY leaked. The hall was full of water! The room to which I was moved to was meant for someone else next day so I had to change it again in the morning. So during my 2 day stay I had 3 rooms (which was exhausting and really troublesome as I had to pack every day ans leave the luggage at the front desk). 2) Some rooms do not have windows. They have the frame, the glass, but NO actual window (it's like a wall). So you won't see sunshine any time of the day you stay there (again, I think it is due to hotel's previous purpose). 3) The breakfast is mostly meant for Asian guests and still very slim on choice (at least the espresso was really good).

The train station too was within walking distance but I wouldn't recommend it if you're carrying your luggage with you. There are taxis just outside the hotel though so we just got one on the way back to the train station and every time we felt too tired to walk around. The staff was very helpful too. Overall our stay was just perfect. We would consider staying here again.

When my partner checked in she complained but the receptionist said that none of their rooms were smoking and was not very nice about it. Pros: I like our spacious room for me and my partner. Also there is an extra bed for us where we can put our bags according to the hotel staff. Furthermore, I love that there is a rabbit in the lobby of the hotel. S/he is so cute and lovely. You can pet her/him when you are in the lobby.

Pros: The location was really good. Situated very close to many fashion shops and a conveinence store. It was also a very easy walk away from Dontonbori. The room was quite large in Japan standards. Had heating and aircon as well.
