Cons: We had three incidents during our four night stay. First, we found a cleaning cloth inside one of our bags! Second, cleaners “accidentally” took my kids AirPods. When we informed the staff that we can see that they are still in the building just not with us, they were found!!! Finally, at check in on ~14:30, we were told that we have to wait 30 minutes for our room; when the staff was pressed, the room (including the extra bed) became ready in a moment!!

Cons: We are unhappy with billings. Your rates for 2 rooms (4 pax) = JPY479,412 nett of taxes but the way they billed the 2 rooms are complicated. Requested for their explanation & still waiting... Also, their Housekeepers were not to their mark, until matters were brought up to Management's attention. Disappointed with Front Office lack of records of our previous stays & therefore treated us like newcomers. We were there 4 times over 18 months. Will reconsider revisiting them, no warmth nor genuine about their hospitality.

All Staff were great and reception were extremely helpful & spoke really good English which made things easier for us not able to speak Japanese. Close to train station & there is great little bakery nearby. My only criticism is that the Beds were to firm & hard , didn’t sleep well because of this. Otherwise a very nice place .

Pros: This is the second or third time I chose to stay at this hotel for my business trip because the location and the room status is perfect for me. The bath tub and shower is separated and I loved it, the space of the room is totally comfortable even if I keep my suitcase opened most of the time. You can use the tablet in the room to call or text msg front desk if you need anything, which make it very convenient if you needed anything, you can type in English and they'll reply you soon enough, so no worries on communication problem. You get bottle of water everyday after they clean up your room which is another point why I love this hotel so much.

There are nice, tasteful, little restaurants and bars nearby and a 7 Eleven across the road. Helpful English speaking staff. Very well located for Osaka Castle (20 mins door to door) and other main tourist places. We didn't have the breakfast but basic supplies are available across the road and they supply good drip coffee in the room. Would definitely stay here again. You'll be happy here.

A free shuttle bus service was a wonderful bonus both for when we first arrived in the city after flying in to Osaka and transferring to the city, as well as for daily excursions to explore Osaka and surrounding areas. The hotel is in a business area and a little out of the way, but the free shuttle bus helps to offset any inconvenience this may create for tourist travellers.

Cons: Wish the information about the shuttle bus from nearest train station was mentioned earlier. We had to drag our luggage for more than 1 km. Better over head shower would make our stay better. The placement of the shower tap was not ideal.

Cons: I think the location was probably good for business travelers, but it's quiet and a little bit out of the tourist centers. The complimentary shuttle bus to Osaka Station makes everything easily accessible, but you can't just walk out the door and be in the middle of the action. It is close to two metro lines, but they aren't the most convenient for getting to the key sights and neighborhoods. I would definitely stay here again, but if you're looking to be in the middle of the nightlife of Osaka, this is probably not the hotel for you.

Pros: I chose the Westin as I arrived in Osaka via the Shinkansen from Kyoto and was leaving via Itami the following day. Firstly the trip to Itami on my way out was short, like amazingly short (perhaps traffic was not bad at 11 am) it took about 30 minutes. The staff were great and had a taxi ready for me in the morning. Oh and there is a 7-11 steps from the lobby! Check-in was super, I arrived early and they held my bags as I went out to see the city. This was a seamless process. The lobby was beautiful with fresh flowers and comfy seating. I stayed on the executive floor. It was a great size, and the house keeping was impeccable, fresh and crisp. The view was impressive! The air conditioner was great! I had room service late and it came quickly. At all times in the hotel, the staff spoke impeccable English and were kind and polite with my attempts at Japanese.

Cons: My only complaint- As I was waiting for check-in after returning from Osaka proper, I ordered champagne in the lounge. It took a while and then they brought me a wet looking condensed over bottle and showed it to me. Then they poured it and it did not bubble. I should have complained, I did not, I just said thank you and drank it. I ordered another and I watched them open the bottle this time (behind the bar). This one was bubbly and fresh, even the poor waitress couldn’t hide how yummy and fun it looked compared to the previous …..

Cons: Staff not too attentive. Sadly our second experience in the hotels Japanese restaurant was disappointing. Ordering our food proved difficult with two young waitresses who hardly spoke English were unable to take our order.

Cons: Didn’t like that you had to pay to use the fitness centre and pool and no children allowed after 6pm and unfortunately it was the only reason we had originally chosen the hotel while traveling in such heat with a 12 & 14 year old who are normally doing a ton of sports, so a workout would have been good but they wouldn’t allow anyone under 18yrs even if you’re with them. That was disappointing.

Pretty much what you'd expect for a business-level hotel - it has all amenities and very friendly, capable staff to help out if you need anything. When I stayed it was very quiet on my floor and the rooms were peaceful. The area itself is also very nice - I walked around a lot and there were a lot of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores within a short walking distance. There is a station right next to the hotel and another a little farther away, so travel is very convenient. It's also within walking distance of the major nightlife area, which was nice when I stayed out past the last trains! Overall, a very solid hotel with comfortable rooms, nice staff, and a can't beat location.

Cons: We arrived at 12h20, and asked to already enter the parking. This was not possible or we had to pay 1600 yen extra! For 1h40 minutes this is stupid as we only had to pay 1500 yen PER DAY during our stay. There was no flexibility from the hotel and they started laughing with me when I tried to explain that the amount for 1h40 was way too much. The beds are terrible, our backs hurt very much the next morning. We cancelled the 2nd night because of this and had to pay 2000 yen cancellation fee.

When I checked-in, I have to take my luggage by myself and the luggage were already placed there at noon when the reception there told me I could not do early checked-in. I was petty sad about this arrangement as even the lower brand hotel could do this services. Then, when I did the early checked-in, the reception told me that only the highest floor could do the checked in at the moment if you could pay to upgrade which let the customer felt so mean on the arrangement. I am ok not doing the early checked in but then the luggage could not arrange to place at the room. I guess maybe I am not sure of the administrative arrangement in the hotel industry. However, I did enjoy such services in other hotel. On the other hand, the room wasn’t cleaned enough which was dusty. I have written a note inside the room but no improvement.

Cons: The air conditioning didn't seem to do so well. As a comparison, my current room in Tokyo feels very comfortable (if not a little chilly) with the thermostat at 22c. At Tokyu REI Osaka, my room still felt warm with the thermostat at 20c. I suspect the reason why is because the vent was pointed towards the foot of the bed. If the head of the bed was next to the window, it probably would have felt better. It was still comfortable enough, but it could have been better.

Pros: In the middle of Tokyo, very central and all accommodations around (particularly Village marché to eat sthg on the morning) : restaurants, markets, bars... really quiet place, two subway stations less than 100m, an “onsen” really nice and clean at the last floor, all services even if the room is tiny for two persons. I took the same resort in Osaka and definitely not the same level of services ! I will return in this APA on my return in Tokyo !

Cons: Japan is tight on space, so be prepared for a small room. If the bed was a little higher off the ground suitcases could fit easily. The step out of the bathroom is nearly a foot drop, I fell out of the bathroom a bunch of times.

Cons: The location was a little far from some of the places we visited but still wasn't too bad. The room size was small for us with 2 luggages.
