We reserved a minivan (Toyota Verso) on the Kayak website, and when we arrived at the pick-up location (Osaka Kansai Airport) we found out that the car company only stocks small cars which were not suitable for my 6 person family. This would have forced us to pay double the price just to rent two small cars. This was absurd! The car company blamed Kayak for false advertisement, since they don’t even stock minivans. We ended up canceling the reservation and just taking the bus, since it was a much cheaper option that renting two small cars. Not sure if I will ever use Kayak again due to this family vacation fiasco.Times
