Madrid hotels near Museo Arqueológico Nacional

Cons: Breakfast/buffet was not included in our stay but there are great little breakfast spots for a cheaper price right down the road from the hotel. workout facilities were a little older

Cons: They advertised a gym with a sauna, and both days I was there they were both out of order. I managed to convince the staff to let me use the gym and they did try to fix the sauna to their credit.

Cons: I liked everything about this hostel, definitely my go to for Madrid.

Cons: The shower in the 4 bedroom; it was out in the open without a lock, no privacy. It was uncomfortable when there is men and women in the same room, I had to put a towel and clothes on the shower door.

Cons: Showers are not private.

Cons: Didn't stay long enough to try the restaurant but it looked good ;)

Cons: The room was beautiful; linens clean and crispy. Room service did a great job every day. Patio was a great addition to overall nice hotel room and enjoyable stay.

Cons: - Though toilet was neat and beautiful, shower area was not properly covered which made the shower water brings out of the designated place and made the entire toilet wet (they could make the proper coverage for the shower area) - waste bin in the toilet was damaged and had to use hand to open it ( it could be in my room only, unfortunately) - main door was not properly closing (could be my room issue only, unfortunately) - Location wasn't great as its far from city center - if you wish to walk daily to the centre or attraction this is not the place. you will have to rely taxi or metro. But if you go to airport, then you save a lot of time (though money is same from wherever you go to airport) as its end of the city.

Cons: The hotel has closed it's entrance that accesses the sidewalk directly and I had to walk in and out of hotel through car tunnel, which felt a bit dicey as the sidewalk in the tunnel is very narrow.

Cons: Noisy as they were repairing the building beginning of July

Cons: Convencion Hotel is not more than a old style business hotel but......if an Hotel is made up especially for business .....how come WIFI SUCKS SO MUCH!??? They told me that for a "premium" connection I would need to pay 4 Euro a day. I did and my connection "upgraded" to 3mb/s.....are you f..ing killing me??? Leave this hotel for few more year until they will understand what is a "business" Hotel...Forgot about the garage....it is a mouse trap not a garage! Leave this Hotel for few more years until they will understand what does it mean being a Business Hotel. There are other Hotel around (Regina) at half a price and double value that this!!

Cons: Shower dripped constantly. The ac worked sometimes. Arrived with a child and 4 pieces of luggage not one person greeted or helped us down the steps into the foyer although there were at least 6 bell boys standing there. They seem to assume their customer want to steal from them. It's very strange. The pool is tiny and sunbeds are scarce. Apart from the one you can pay 100 euros to have all day. On the last day we decovered an infestation of red ants. Generally spent as little time in the hotel as possible.

Cons: They had a fire alarm test but did not let us know so we paniced for nothing.

Cons: There was a rotted banana in the bin (not ours), but otherwise completely swank hotel!!! Outstanding experience!

Cons: While waiting for staff to fix my door (keycard would not work), I decided to wait at the main bar on the top of the hotel. one side was marked for a private party, one wasn't. I went to the unmarked side, ordered a drink, and as I was about to pay, the bartender asked if I was part of the event. I told him no and he said that he couldn't serve me and took the drink away. I informed him that I was a guest of the hotel and that this area was not marked as reserved. His manager apologized but asked me to leave. This added insult to injury of being locked out of my room. Were it not for an early flight and the hotel's free shuttle, I would have checked out that instant. Furthermore, the hotel is poorly located in the middle of a boring residential neighborhood. It may be a good value for anyone about to travel but the device and amenities do not merit 5 stars.

Cons: The restaurant staff was terrible. We were two businessmen dressed in suits. We entered the restaurant at 9:15 pm; It was not busy but had a number of tables with patrons. We walked out at 9:40, having gotten not so much as a glass of water, or even a nod in our direction, let alone an "Ill be right with you." Instead the 3-4 waiters and the captain never even made eye contact with us. So we went to the desk and got a recommendation to a very good restaurant right down the street.

Cons: Room a bit small, I booked and paid with breakfast but reception said it wasn't included. Getaroom provides a U.S. number to phone...I filled up an online form on Getaroom webpage and never got a reply.
