Pros: Great location, rooms are a cool design with plenty of space. Staff were pleasant and accommodated an early check in. Great shower pressure.
Cons: I asked for a quiet room and am not sure if I was given one, but the window was on the courtyard and it was noisy in the morning with cleaners squiggying and music late into the night. I am not a particularly light sleeper and it took me a while to fall asleep and was woken up early by the banging. The shower was also clean but smelt quite bad - like it wasn't draining properly through the drain and had that stagnant water smell that filled the room a little.

Cons: My room overlooked some back staircase or fire escape. The wifi did not work in my room at all, on any of my devices (2 phones and 1 laptop). It was working at the reception area so they should use a stronger router or other solution. However, even at the reception area, several websites were not available via wifi - they worked on other networks or on mobile data, so it must have been something with their settings. One of the elevators was a bit noisy and shaky, I did not feel very safe in it.

Pros: Location is excellent. It's the third time in this hotel and each time I like it more and more.
Cons: Indeed nothing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location only. It is not a 5* hotel.
Cons: We booked and paid for a Superior Room. On arrival we were offered the only double room that was available. It was a small interior room on the 5th floor and with zero view, no day light or aspect. We could not possibly stays 3 nights in such a room. We had no choice but to pay 50 Euros per night extra to upgrade to a so called better room on 7th floor which had more space, better bathroom but no storage. Will not be staying in the hotel again.

Pros: The very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The fact that I booked a double room and when I got there I had to pay €40 extra to get a double bed! #NotAcceptable

Pros: Location. Hotel employee were awesome. Breakfast was spectacular.

Pros: The location is the only thing going for this hotel. Not much else I can say positive.
Cons: The rooms were extremely claustrophobic. It was very difficult to sleep here. Wall as are very thin. You can clearly here the conversation of other guests in their rooms and in the hallways. Complained several times- nothing done.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, very clean, extensive breakfast buffet
Cons: Nothing to dislike, we had a great time

Pros: Central to a good locations in the city. The room was quiet. The wifi and internet access was good. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Cons: nothing
8.2 Excellent
Pros: We like the location and the staff.
Cons: I was shocked that my 2 hardboiled eggs and yogurt (in room breakfast) was $30. My husband got fruit and Muesli and it was an additional $30. $60 for a small breakfast!!! Apparently if you order anything they charge you for a full buffet. Had I know that, I would have just gone downstairs to the buffet. The laundry service was also ridiculously priced. My husband washed 4 pairs of boxers and three pairs of socks and it was $60. Shame on us for not planning better, but shame on them for price gouging.

5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: There is currently a huge construction site around the hotel. So all rooms not facing the river get noisy as of 07am. Also try to avoid room 601 as it is next to room service and they make a lot of noise. I've been coming to this hotel for several years, but you can tell that maintenance is not their focus (stains on sofas, scratches on floor, black seams in shower...)

Pros:
Cons: The location was not great. I found the restaurant staff rude. The front desk was unapologetic when a guest set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night. I asked to change to a king room and was told I would be called. No one called.

Pros: The location was central
Cons: Room had someone staying there not on holiday, the beds we were given were very difficult and painful to climb, I was woken up 3 times in the middle of the night, someone shut the window suffocating me due to lack of fresh air. It was awkward as the room literally opened up to the checkin area. The internet never worked. The lockers wouldn't work with your regular TSA lock, you need a thicker lock. We couldn't stay there, so we left the next day.

Cons: One of the problems for me was about the showers, they don’t have a place to you put your clothes while you take a shower, so you need to walk from the shower room to the bedroom to change your clothes, it’s a little uncomfortable

Pros: The location was great, very central. Great view from the little terrace. Showers had enough hot water and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: I wouldn’t recommend this place for a solo female traveler. There were no seperate showers for women, and women’s dormitories didn’t have a lock on the door, so anyone could just walk in during the night. During the day, male personnel of the hostel came into the female dormitories (after a short knock, but still...). The iron lockers in the rooms are extremely noisy, so you wake up immediately when someone uses their locker. No curtains around the bed, dirty bathrooms.

Cons: It was cold during the night and even with 2 blankets we could not warm up. Bed was hard and not recommended to people with back problems.
Several times at night and very early mornings we heard loud , extended noise, as if someone would move the furniture. It is still a mistery where this noise came from, very unlikely that the hotel guests made it. I would be curious to find out.

Pros: Localization a little
Cons: Bad! They literally kick you out their hostel in checkout time at 11am I did my checkout and 11:10am I asked to keep my bags there, despite they charge for it. I would like to walk around the city and go back there at 6pm to take my bags and go to the airport But then employee Felix was very rude and saying that I couldn't because it was more than 11am and now I should pay the day-rate because was 11:10am or go out He was screaming and out of control, I don't now if he was drunk or what happened, but to avoid troubles I went out I did not complain about it but they say in description that they have kitchen, but there is only a microwave to use and they almost don't have toilet (saw only 1 toilet and 3 places only to take a shower without toilet for all the hostel) And they also are more expansive than other hostels around, bad choice! I just didn't change to other hostel since the beginning because I was with too much bags

Pros: The staffs are very nice and helpful. Good value of money. Location is excellent to Metro.
Cons: The bed sheet is relatively old. Else are okay.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was in an active area and close to a metro.
Cons: Cleaning lady was aggressive and loud. I was still packing and she got in my space and ripped all my bedding off. Not sure why that couldn't have waited like 5-10 minutes for me to finish up. Also, she was making gross hacking sounds. Additionally, there are lockers in the room and someone's alarm started going off at 4am- but they were out partying so they obviously couldn't turn it off. I asked the head person to unlock the locker just to turn the alarm off but he claimed he didn't have a key.... and also refused to move the lockers... so basically he let the alarm keep going off in our room.

Cons: The room is not good enough and i can hear the noise from the other room. I request all what i need but i didn`t get it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Hotel feels a little old and neglected. Cleanliness is okay. It would benefit from some basic improvements, such as a kettle and tea in the room.

3.3 Mediocre

6.0 Good
Pros: The Location is excellent as you can walk across the street to the Pio Principle train station. There is also a small shopping mall there as well. The price is inexpensive.
Cons: The room Air conditioning was almost non existent. It was very warm in Madrid when we stayed. I need to be under the covers when I sleep. The pillows were the worst I have ever encountered! They were long and thin so they offered no head support. If you folded them in half it was worse because it became very firm and uncomfortable like sleeping on a bath towel that was rolled up and then folded in half. I need absolute darkness to sleep. The light illuminating from the TV literally lit the room up. It wasn't until our last night that I figured to cover the TV with blankets. The walls and ceilings seem thin because I heard banging and conversations going on in other rooms, both above and on the side of me. You could even hear the people across the hall. The complimentary breakfast buffet also was not worth even going to. Everything was not only substandard and cheap, but while we were there the hotel was at capacity, so the buffet area was extremely loud, and everyone was grabbing food as fast as they could. We ate breakfast outside each day after that. Bottom line...Spend a few extra bucks for a more comfortable hotel, with a better breakfast!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location was ok
Cons: Dirty water coming out of the faucets and toilet, no air conditioning.
