Breakfast buffet was of an exceptional quality, the staff were very accommodating and helpful, breaking the barrier of me being english speaking only. A blonde lady who works in the restaurant during the morning was exceptionally helpful, I didn't catch her name, but she made my stay more pleasant than she probably knows. The bar terrace is gorgeous, I visited in February which meant it was really quiet, I practically had the bar and terrace to myself most afternoon and evenings. Ventas metro is literally 7 minutes walk away from the hotel and the area is very safe, middle class and doesn't boast young people drinking in the streets like how the city is. There is a small bar opposite the hotel entrance which is open till late if you miss the restaurant and bar times inside the hotel, also only a few minutes walk away are shops for groceries and medicines, tobaccos, florist, clothes and any other small everyday items you might need. The hotel provide complimentary coffee and pastries for people who wake up or check out before 8am. The higher up your room is the better the view! Room service is fairly priced and I recommend the pizza for a filling meal before venturing out into the city!
Everything was perfect! A huge shame that the rooms do not provide any tea or coffee making facilities.

Very poor or no soundproof whatsoever, unbelievable how everything was apparently refurbished and the windows are the same as it were in the 70´s or 80´s. Air conditioning difficult to manage, ether too much hot too cold.

The hotel has 199 rooms. They have a contemporary feel to them and are warm and inviting. There are three choices of rooms that include standard, superior, and junior suite with a terrace. Guests will enjoy hardwood floors, free WiFi, windows that are sound-proof, and air conditioning. The Junior Suite has a view of the bullring at Las Ventas.
Guests of the NH Madrid Ventas hotel can have breakfast every morning at the buffet. It lasts until 10:30 during the week, and goes later on the weekends. The NH Ventas Restaurant is the hotel’s on-site restaurant that is open every day and serves all three meals. There are international options and local foods, as well as options for children. The hotel also has a whiskey bar on the premises called Park Avenue Bar Terraza.
Las Ventas bullring is a 5-minute subway ride away. Downtown Madrid is chock full of things to do. There are attractions that can be walked to, such as El Retiro Park, WiZink Center, and Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The NH Madrid Ventas hotel has a pool on site, a fitness center, and plenty of lounging space.
Located in the capital city of Spain, the NH Madrid Ventas hotel gives guests somewhere convenient to stay that’s close enough to the city center to have easy access, but far enough away to have peace and quiet too.
