Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Pros: We chose this hotel to surprise a friend who was getting married. as she was also staying at the hotel the night before we needed some assistance to avoid bumping into each other and spoiling the surprise for the next day.the manager len was amazing. his pride in the hotel was obvious and his willingness to assist in any way possible was the best customer service I have ever had.

Cons: While we are "an almost mature couple" and enjoy being close to the nightlife - the proximity to all of the nighttime crowds and related noise was a bit disconcerting and noisy. While we advised staff that our phone was out - which made it difficult to contact our family in other rooms - couldn't seem to get it correct within our 3 night stay.

Cons: There was no AC in the hotel on the top floor.. it forced us to keep the window open as it was very warm -78-80 F in the room Staff tried to help us with heater/fans... but... that didnt really help. We were forced to leave the window open and endure the nightly noise of Fleet street. This was disappointing.
Other than this our stay at the Morgan was good.

Cons: The front rooms of the Hotel overlook quite a busy street (particularly at 2am on a Saturday night) and can be a little noisy. Our room card keys didnt work initially, and there was quite a long wait to have these changed as the reception desk gets very busy.

It wa saa bonus on the day of check-out that we could leave the car as long as we liked for no extra charge - ideal for that last bit of shopping. Cons: The entry process to the house was horrible. First of all I was unaware that there would not be someone present to unlock the door, I pictured someone sitting at a desk to give you a key. I emailed what time I would be in and they said there was nothing further I had to do. Well we got there and no one was there to greet us. We waited for an hr and rang the doorbell multiple times. A couple leaving the house kindly called the owner and got the housekeeper to unlock the doors. She was apologetic and kind. Otherwise the room was very nice. Need to improve communications.

Pros: We enjoyed our two night stay here so much we actually came back for a third night. This hotel is ideally located for touring around Dublin. We took a bus from the airport straight to the hotel, the tour bus lines leave from ten yards down the sidewalk and taxis line up right across the street. You are right across from the historic post office and the temple bar district is a 6 euro taxi ride away. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. If we go back to Dublin we would definitely stay here again.

Cons: The hotel is in a process of refurbishment so only the 4th floor was in use during our stay. The hammering and drilling started at 8am on both days we stayed and despite moving rooms it was like being on a building site.
The beds at the hotel were the hardest I have ever slept on, I have been very fortunate to have travelled all over the world with my job so have slept in many hotels but this bed ranked as one of the worst!
We were in room 400 (on the 4th floor) which was the furthest room from the elevator. Annoyingly it was too far for the wifi to stretch so we were forced to sit in the lobby to get online. Overall our stay was very disappointing and we won't return to this hotel in future.

On the up side the food and drinks were great and we just opted for room service for dinner.

Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

Cons: The room was extremely small and not worth the price that was being paid. It was very expensive for the room quality. The room was not cleaned to an appropriate standard, for example anything placed on the floor would be covered in dust. There was a utility room actually in the room that was open and would not close. The staff at the front desk were not helpful, except the staff member on check out. I left something in my room and trying to contact the staff to arrange for me to pickup was extremely difficult. The noise from the nightclud was extremely loud and could not sleep. I would not stay at again nor recommend this hotel.

If you stay in this hotel do not accept room 127, it's just beside a can/water machine and main entrance to rooms and it was terribly loud up until 3 or 4 am. Perhaps our experience would have been different if we happened to be in a different room.

Pros: I loved the location, I was able to get to see everything I intended to. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was charming. I utilized the wifi and never had any problems. They had entertainment and food available on premises which is very convienent. I would stay there again.

Cons: The two nights we were there a band was playing loudly in the bar. We were on the top floor and could still hear the them most clearly. The beds were pretty hard. The shower was a problem. The head wouldn't stay up but would ship to the bottom of the post it was on. That made it waist high on me. The temperature and volume on the shower came and went in spits and spurts.

Cons: The rooms are rather small and there is a lot of mechanical noise from equipment in the alley behind and next to the building. The walls are very thin so you hear a lot from the adjoining rooms, particularly when someone has come back late from the pubs and is rather boisterous.

Cons: Hotel is on the large side so its a bit of walk to your room once out of the lift , a fridge in the room would have been good ( we used the bath to keep the beers cold ) , internet is overpriced at 1 Euro for only 8 minutes much cheaper in city for internet . The distance to the city seems more than a mile when you walk it everyday but theres plenty of buses for 1.60 Euro or a taxi is 8-10 Euros . Caught the aircoach from the hotel to the airport for 8 Euros .

Cons: We had a problem with the booking when we arrived, we had asked for a smoking room but none were available. The first room we stayed in had a problem with the room alarm which was set off by steam from the shower. We were moved to a different room (smoking) but unfortunately had the same problem. But all in all these were minor blips, we were pleased with the overall quality of the hotel.

No breakfast but you do get two small complimentary drinks when you get there. The drinks at their bar are pricey but comparable to other Temple Bar pubs. Breakfast restaurant closes at 11:00 even though check out is at 12, so be mindful!

It was unusually warm the first day we were there. They don't have air-conditioning; which is understandable but there were no fans available and the windows only open a few inches. The area outside our window was filled with several mechanical units which were rather loud.

Also there was a vent that came on when the bathroom door was opened and it blew the shower curtain into the tub, so it would stick on my body while i was in the shower, which is kind of gross.

Pros: It's a hip place, the rooms are clean, and the staff were externally helpful in helping me track down my wallet that I had left in a taxi.
Cons: Nothing, the place was great. There were some annoying persons staying there, but that's to be expected and it's not the hostel's fault.

Pros: The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful.The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
Cons: The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.

Cons: The rooms were a tad cold, as well as the bathroom. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not the best. Someone had thrown up in the bathroom, and it was left for most of the day.
