Cons: The entry process to the house was horrible. First of all I was unaware that there would not be someone present to unlock the door, I pictured someone sitting at a desk to give you a key. I emailed what time I would be in and they said there was nothing further I had to do. Well we got there and no one was there to greet us. We waited for an hr and rang the doorbell multiple times. A couple leaving the house kindly called the owner and got the housekeeper to unlock the doors. She was apologetic and kind. Otherwise the room was very nice. Need to improve communications.

Cons: When we arrived the door and siding metal door were locked. We waited outside in the street for 10 minutes until we realized there was an intercom but it could only be reached by reaching through the bars of the gated door. Finally, we were able to reach it and wait until someone let us in. There is no outside light so when returning at night it's very dark at the door.

Cons: The location is great being so central to Temple Bar area, but this was also a negative as it was incredibly noisy during the night from revellers inn nearby pubs and clubs until 5am in the morning and then even in the morning with a lot of building activity. So you would need a good drink to sleep through! Which is a shame because we would certainly stay again if it was not for this, sometimes location can be a blessing and a curse! The shower doesn't get you very wet either and so a newer model would fit the rest of the property a lot better.

Pros: This is an excellent hotel. The location is on the North side of the river, but Dublin is small enough that the location really doesn't matter. It isn't worth the money (in my opinion) to spend more to stay further South. The hotel is right on the 747 AirLink bus to and from the airport which is a real plus. Plus there is plenty of bus and tram service to all parts of the city within a very short walk. The hotel is modern and well kept, but a bit on the sterile side. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are nice, but nothing that you would write home about. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of seating. Staff is pleasant, welcoming and requests are acted upon in a reasonable timeframe.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Pros: This is a truly wonderful hotel right in the heart of Temple Bar. The staff are all so welcoming and make you feel valued. The hotel has had a makeover since we last visited, and it looks beautiful. We stayed in the Aston Suite which is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated and furnished with a great balcony too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of luxury, with a great location and attentive staff. We will be back soon.

Constantly had to wipe up water all over. I would suggest you fix this. We were not happy with the quality of your shower facility.

Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

The location was ugly- lots on demolition works around everywhere you look and lots of construction noise outside, no view whatsoever- only ruins of buildings. Hotel has put some computers and printers dowstairs so you could print out your boarding passes BUT those computers were so secured which means the computer denied almost every operation you needed to do to print something out. Absolutely useless option. Prices for breakfast and accommodation are too high for the quality offered.

On top of that unfortunately had a room with a broken shower (hot/cold handle wasn't working) which didn't feel like a upper class hotel. Only good thing to say is location was fantastic + bar, restaurant area was very nice and classy. Personally wouldn't stay in same hotel again for that price/night.

Cons: The only drawback was WiFi. It was impossible to find even hotel's hotspot in our room. After second complain the staff lady was so kind to offer to change the room, but we we decided it wasn't worth it to do for the remaining two days. Cons: The room I was in no 239 had some bad points, firstly it looked onto an enclosed area adjacent to the bar. While it did not bother me, it could be seen as having privacy issues for some people, if customers were using seating near your room window. The second point is good and bad, at the same time. The hotels inward facing rooms all look onto the inner courtyard, forming a square. As my room was at the end of the third corner, it was beside a corridor offering a shortcut to the bar and breakfast area through a doorway, saving a long walk, but also meant the door could be heard closing after each use. It might be better for the hotel to have it altered to close quietly.

Cons: The beds could make one claustrophobic. I asked for a bed at the bottom, but since I am tall, I couldn't even sit on it comfortably - definitely more space needed on the lower level of beds. The room was tiny for the number of beds and especially since you had your "locker" UNDER the bed, which made getting anything out a game of diplomacy and tetris. I didn't like that you had to have your own padlock, and I didn't like not being reminded of that in a message before visiting, as it is not an obvious thing to take with you on a travel. On all my journeys this was only the second hostel to require one.

Pros: The hostel was clearly run by people who are widely travelled as there was nothing missing from the experience. The pods give you so much privacy, there are hooks and racks to hang your belongings, USB ports in the pod for your phone, lights inside, plenty of mirrors to get ready and it is kept super clean. The staff are super informative and friendly and let you know options for travel, day trip and the best places to go in town. I honestly wished I had stayed longer just because the hostel was soooooo great! Lockers to store luggage before/after check in/out and welcome to use wifi. Thank you for making Dublin one of my favourite experiences out of 4 months travel. I would HIGHLY recommend to friends and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Cons: I had a first floor room that had one window. That window opened to the trash can and loading area of the hotel. They had a full trash can and bottle recycling bin directly in front of my window. Close enough that if the window opened more, I could have reached in and grabbed a bottle. The smell from the trash came and went from the room, not overwhelming, but noticeable. We were only staying two nights so I did not ask for a room change. The trash collectors and hotel staff dropping off trash did make significant noise at times, but not enough to get upset about.

If you are very lucky, aka goes to breakfast very early, you may be lucky enough to get some ham, cheese or boiled eggs. Despite we didn't make use of it, there are amazing basement common areas with games, snookers and even a free sauna. For free you can leave valuables at the reception safe( passports, laptops, etc).

Cons: First I had a mixed dorm room which was acceptabele. There was a lot of noise because of the railway with the trains was close, but I could live with it. But I asked for 2 extra nights. This was possible, but I had to move into another room. Also a mixed dorm room. But this room had no fresh air, because of the window could not be opened. There was a ventilator, but that’s not enough of course when 8 persons sleep there! There was 1 shower and 1 toilet. In my opinion this accomodation is not up for 2019! The first thing this needs is a carpenter to solve the problem with the window! And the second should be at least 3 showercabins and toilets.

Cons: I think is important that people knows a few things before choosing this hostel: it is good but, for that price, it's very far from the standards of other cities. There're no curtains around the bed or personal lights or sockets near the bed (usually I always found these things in other structures). There is not a personal closet or a place in the room were you can lock your luggages, you have to pay to leave them in a "strange" room downstairs. If you knows these details you can avoid to discover them on spot and remain dissatisfied :)

Cons: There are no lockers on the rooms whatsoever, not even cupboards. Instead, there is a €2 per day locker at the basement( €10 deposit). The same apply to luggage room. Printing the boarding cards is not free but 50c per page. There were only 2 cubicles and 3 showers for all the floor( 3rd) for male( I reckon the same number female); that said, I did not have to wait to have a shower, but some queues to use the loos were often happening. There are no reading lights, plugs or shelves by the beds. The kitchen is only open at certain times, definitely not during the night. Breakfast rationed ham, cheese and boiled eggs, so none to be seen after 8.30am

Cons: This is no longer a hostel, so you can't get a dorm. When I booked I booked a six bed dorm and they then contacted me and told me it was no longer possible for this, as it is now a hotel. They rearranged my accomodation to another hostel in Dublin. This hostel was further out and the breakfast was shocking, but I appreciated the effort of the staff in helping us to fix the mistake. I am only leaving this review to inform others, so they do not make the same mistake.

Pros: It’s a great location that is central to everything. Hotel food downstairs is spot on. Staff always friendly & here to help any needs you have. Rooms are cleaned daily which is great.
Cons: I always stay at blooms when I visit Dublin, this being my 5th time. My room was not great this time. I was in room 411, the bathroom was so small with no bath (bath doesn’t bother me) but it was hard to get in and out of the shower and close the by folding door without having to squeeze yourself between shower wall and door. My brother was with us staying in a different room & his room was decent size bathroom with bath, if he would of got our room he probably would of had to of moved as he wouldn’t of fit in the shower and been able to close the door. The toilet was squeezed in between the wall and the sink yet again tiny space so much I could only just fit, my boyfriend struggled. Never been in a room with a bathroom so small. The noise on a morning outside the hotel was not great there was loud road works, now this doesn’t bother me but it was from 7am in the morning all until late at night - it would of been nice to of been warned.

Cons: This hotel is more for young people who like to party specially when you staying on weekends. We were walking late evening to get some food and was so crowded with drunk people and vomit everywhere. Our hotel and room smelled like beer from the bar and nightclub downstairs. The room was very small with no view(construction side), not clean, the bathroom so small with little shower, clogged sink. Not a good experience for us.I will rather stay farther from the Temple Bar in nicer hotel.

Cons: The bathroom was very out-dated. The tub was chipped in many places. The shower head was very high up and almost facing the wall, but it was too high to reach to fix it. The sink had a hot water faucet with its own spout and a cold water faucet with it’s own spout, making washing up extremely difficult!! Also there was a vent that came on when the bathroom door was opened and it blew the shower curtain into the tub, so it would stick on my body while i was in the shower, which is kind of gross.

Cons: I never expect much from a hostel's continental breakfast, but this one was by far the worst I have experienced. Cold, pre-toasted bread on a tray, and some mushy cereal. Quite a lot of street noise with very poor quality windows, but we expected the area to be noisy. Personally I would not stay again, but if it works for your budget and you're willing to put up with the downsides, it might be worthwhile for the location.

Cons: I stayed in a room for 10 people and there is only 1 bathroom/shower in the room for all. No extra showers. And the place is not kept very clean. The location is great, but as I stayed during the weekend the party noise is crazy: The party last till 4 am approx. I would recommend staying a little far from downtown. Dublin is not so big, so you can walk. Unless you go only to party! if you go for that. This is the best!

Cons: Arguably one of the most touristy streets in Dublin, so night time was incredibly loud. Wouldn’t recommend if you actually need to sleep at night. Only two outlets per room, that I could see.
