nice decor, great shower, good location, valet parking was a bonus.
Someone on out floor was playing music at 1am, we called reception several times with no answer and my friend eventually got dressed and went down to speak staff about it. The music was stopped in the end but it wasn't ideal.
Size of room good bathroom nice good lighting.
Air con didn't seem to work could have had more toilet rolls shampoo milk t bags couldn't get coffee machine to work. Lighting could have been brighter round corridors.
I was able to check in early when I arrived at 0900 hrs. That was great.
The hotel in some ways can’t accommodate business travellers because their bellhop and front desk can’t secure time-dependent transportation. On one morning, the bell hop simply refused to book me a taxi because it was ‘too busy’. I went around the corner and got my own taxi. I was 30 minutes late for my meeting. The next day I booked a taxi for early morning and come down 5 minutes before the booked time only to find that they gave it away, and the subsequent taxi away, and then Finally I flagged a taxi off the street. This all occurred before 7am. I asked to speak to the manager on check out to express my dismay- I was not looking for a freebie, simply wanting to express that this was frustrating and caused me great distress, but they were ‘busy’ in a meeting. If you’re looking for a reliable ‘work friendly’ hotel, this might not be the place.
Location was good
Lot a money for what it was, the bed was uncomfortable and the LED lights outside were coming through the curtains I didn’t think that it was worth £400 at all.
The Trinity City Hotel is a nice little hotel with a pretty restaurant and bar area. Good breakfast. It is around the corner from Trinity College. The staff was very helpful during a lost luggage stressful situation. Some staff members stood out as being outstanding and we appreciate all their efforts.
The Trinity City Hotel turned out to be a bit further away from where all the action is than we had calculated. The area surrounding the hotel is under construction so some streets are inaccessible and makes it a little messy getting around. Uncomfortable beds and pillows.
