Pros: Overall the hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful & friendly, and the service was very good. The pools & pool bar was by far our favorite place to be.

Pros: Hotel service was great. Bed was super comfortable and room was clean. There's a quick mart across the street with everything you need.
Cons: The beach wasn't relaxing at all. The vendors are extremely aggressive. They line up at your cabana and you can barely close your eyes for 30 seconds. They start massaging you and asking for money. We were there for 3 days and only went to the beach 1 day.. Stay in old town and enjoy the history and market where you go to vendors, not the other way around.

Pros: The hotel is positioned well, with nicely decorated rooms, the view of the sea is nice. The Lobby is poor with mildew and mold odor, I was in the 16 floor, the corridor stinks, there is a permanent smell of burnt frying oil, of fried fish, fried eggs at any given minute of the day. The same bad smell hits you when you go to eat breakfast. If you have allergies or have a bronchial issues you will get sick from this air quality. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone no ever go back there

Pros: I liked the fact they had a travel agency to book my trips day before. The pool is huge lots of space. The pool bar is great. Great drinks. Check in was fast and they even signed me up with a hilton account for free. I asked to leave my luggage for my flight so i could do some extra stuff and they helped me with that. So i was very happy. Me and my fiancé were treated like royal. I would come back. Thank you Hilton Cartagena!!!

Check in was fast and they even signed me up with a hilton account for free. I asked to leave my luggage for my flight so i could do some extra stuff and they helped me with that. Cons: Didnt like that fact i got a lil hot at night. So i had to get up at night and reset the air conditioner. I asked for a late check out but they didnt have the space. The hotel was booked 100%. All around i dont have not really bad to say.

Cons: For 4 or 5 star hotel, I expected a formal dining restaurant; I expected the mini bar to be fully stocked. I expected quality service from the housekeeping staff...returning to my room and finding no toilet paper is unacceptable....having one glass in the bathroom for a room for 4 people is unacceptable. My one and only significant complaint is with customer service and being subjected to maintenance activity on a much too regular basis.

Cons: Hot water was dark brown. I couldn't give the 4 month old baby a bath. Had to buy bottled water for her. No babysitters were allowed in the room. Not family orientated. Bueet lunc was not worth the money. Rice, bread and some sort of meat. Beach chairs are limited. We had to pay for chairs as the few they have were taken. To many harassing beach vendors.

Cons: I wanted to pay in cash and asked the staff how much the cost would be in local currency. I then made sure I had enough local currency to pay. On check out I was told that the hotel had already charged my credit card even before I had talked to the staff who either did not know or did not mention it to me. I was then left with a large amount of local currency which I had to change back into dollars. This was very annoying and costly.

Cons: Of the last 5 years of 1500+ nights in hotels, I have never encountered a worst place to stay in my life. This is unlike any other property with rules and processes carefully designed to make a guest's experience challenging.
1. Check-in only takes an hour at the front desk, accepting payment usually results in US banks blocking your card due to suspected fraud, and guests can count on another 30 min before room inspection can be complete and a key is obtained
2. Wifi is non-existant
3. There are strange restrictions around where you can move around the hotel as well taking your room towel out of the room (really?)
4. Exercising "discipline," redundant process, and rules requires a lot of monitoring and staff, and the hotel has impressively invested plenty of manpower in that area
5. Oh and don't dare leave your key in your room, it will only take several hours for the hotel to find a locksmith...one would have thought to keep duplicates right?
6. Though it is all-inclusive, the alcohol quality is bound to make you sick and the food is mostly uncooked. Be prepared to eat/drink outside for all 3 meals.
I am surprised that the hotel is still up and running. We were a group of 8 who spent most of our time outside the rooms, but whatever moments were at the hotel, were not conducive to a convenient existence.
