Cartagena hotels in El Laguito

Pros: Food

Cons: Ugh, it is impossible to enjoy the beach. So many peddlers harassing guests the second you step out. Would rather have stated in old town since no beach time was had.

Pros: The location was very beautiful

Cons: We were offered a discount off breakfast if we paid in advance. However when we checked out the itemized bill clearly stated "breakfast upsell" on it. We were also charged $50 USD for pool towel cards that we never received at check-in

Cons: The main pool was being redone. Many of the staff don't speak English which was surprising for an American hotel chain.

Pros: I liked the fact they had a travel agency to book my trips day before. The pool is huge lots of space. The pool bar is great. Great drinks. Check in was fast and they even signed me up with a hilton account for free. I asked to leave my luggage for my flight so i could do some extra stuff and they helped me with that. So i was very happy. Me and my fiancé were treated like royal. I would come back. Thank you Hilton Cartagena!!!

Cons: Didnt like that fact i got a lil hot at night. So i had to get up at night and reset the air conditioner. I asked for a late check out but they didnt have the space. The hotel was booked 100%. All around i dont have not really bad to say.

Pros: Where to begin? Amazing staff, great location, wonderful breakfast. Everything exceeded my expectations. Big kudos to the staff, they went above and beyond, always with a smile on their face

Pros: Location view food pool

Cons: Our room was not ready at 3:00. We didn't get it until 5:30. We were offered a hospitality room but if we were told it would take 2 hrs. we would have changed clothes and went to the pool.

Pros: place was clean, easy to get around, this hotel was my first choice but I had reserve another hotel with New Years dinner and party availability.

Cons: Checking was slow, WiFi was slow too.

Cons: Can't think of anything that we didn't like.

Pros: The staff was very kind and always ready to help with a smile.

Cons: The hotel doesn’t seem committed with sustainable tourism in Cartagena. There’s was not even one trash can in the beach. I picked up several plastic cups and bags left by others laying around the beach and I had to go until well inside the pool complex to dispose of these. Being the Hilton a well known and established hotel chain, it is time that it goes beyond cleaning their own floors and placing nice beads in the beach and it should take actions to make sustainable use of the beach and the city. It could carry out initiatives, jointly with other nearby hotels and buildings, to keeping the Laguito’s beach clean, restricting the use of plastic, and campaigning to make costumers aware of sustainable tourism. Also, it is very common to see old foreigner men with very young call-girls going to their rooms. This just shows that Hilton does not care about Cartagena and its people.

Pros: Very calm bay for swimming.

Cons: Very thin wall partitions between rooms very audible from the next room as people talk no balconies no where to dry laundry.

Pros: Personnel. Taxi easy access at any time.

Cons: Main pool under maintenance. Old fashioned style, some renovation is needed. Noisy huge fan (?) on the rear of the hotel all day and night long

Pros: It gave me a great rate for the night I stayed there, the location is perfect, it included a light dinner and breakfast. The staff was very courteous, friendly and accommodating.
