Very rushed and stressful Transfer at Pearson. Baggage delayed, I have been advised is coming, but not sure when.

The flight attendants were friendly. The food was ok, but the wine was cheap. I was disappointed!

Delayed flight 5 h!!! Poor food and beverage, less comfortable and bad service

Pros: "Food and beverage service was great, especially the the wine/beer and hot meals on the long flight."

Cons: "Exceptionally small seats and warm temperatures made overnight flights challenging. They do not offer free alocohol on international flights. But the worst part of the flight was the entertainment situation. There are no tv screens on the plane. They wait to tell you until after you've taken off that you can download the air Canada app to stream their selection of tv and movies to your personal devices. Once you do, they'll explain to you that it's really hard to get the streaming to work properly because so many people are trying to use it at the same time, but don't worry - they have preloaded iPads available ... for rent. It feels like a blatant cash grab on top of an already disappointing flight experience."

Cons: "Flight was delayed by roughly 2 hours allegedly due to construction at the Toronto Pearson airport. I recognize that this was possibly not Air Canada's fault but the delay was still unforeseen."
Pros: "Boarding and deplaning were easy and pleasant. The 4 hour wait passed pretty quickly. The seating was tight but expected. The flight was smooth, the crew friendly and responsive. Plane was clean, bathrooms clean, nicely kept that way throughout the flight. I did have help reconstructing my import-export card."
Cons: "Space under the seats is smaller than expected. With passengers waiting in the aisle to get their seats, I had a second to decide what to take out of my one carry-on before putting it in the overhead bin, and as a result, was without some necessities during the flight. Pearson is a problem. Flights from everywhere were backed up behind a single person operating in security, and hardly any AC personnel there could speak English clearly. The confusion & wait time pretty distressing to most people in line. I had 4 hours to the next flight so wasn't worried, but waited 1 hour in line in the airport hallway before getting in to present information to security. Situation at airport is not good at all. I'd try to avoid Pearson as a transit point if I could, in the future. The music channels were so distorted I couldn't listen to any of the offerings. Too bad about that, but it didn't ruin the flight. Arrival in Zurich was on time and easy."

Pros: "Everything went well with this trip home, the service was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A real improvement from earlier Air Canada flights. Flights left on time, a bonus."

Cons: "My flight got delayed due to weather, and the second leg actually got canceled. I was placed on a later flight that would get me home at 2 am - no thanks! I tried to change it online as an email notification told me I could, but the website then told me I needed to call, which was frustrating. There was a 50 min wait and no call back option, and since I was on international calling, I figured I'd just wait until I got to the airport. The ticketing line looked relatively short, with only three people/ groups ahead of me. Yet it took 75 MINUTES for me to be helped. The people working were the slowest and most incompetent airline workers I've ever come across. I truly don't think either had a clue what they were doing. My agent didn't even know how to view my flights after I provided my passport. He asked me to look them up and read them to him. I had to find an alternative flight on my phone and specifically request to be placed on it since he didn't know how to view my options. Then, he printed me something, pointed me to another counter, and said "I think you're good, but I'm not sure. There's a chance they might refuse you. But I don't think they will." I was like, "Do I have a ticket or not?" And he couldn't give me a straight answer. By the time I left, the line had 15 people/ groups. Processed at the same rate, it'd take over 5 hours for them to be assisted. Never flying this airline again."
Cons: "Was not informed about long security conditions at Toronto. While Air Canada employees were efficient and helpful, they were understaffed for the large number of passengers. We are so grateful that our flight waited for us due to terrible delays not our fault. The food is awful, but staff is quite good."
Cons: "Uncomfortable, had to sit sideways since my seat didn't recline and the passenger in front on me reclined into my lap. Stewardess did nothing to help, chose to ignore me and went in the back to knit.."

Cons: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."

The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."
