Cons: "I had paid for Premium Economy and was seated in Row 30. The passengers were boarded up to row 28, then from to back of the plane forward then I was boarded with the last remaining passengers. That was not what I feel should have happened. I did not like the footrest on the seats."

Pros: "Everything ! Staff was awesome , food was great and hi-tech plane with its entertainment consoles . Touch button options for ordering drinks , food , movies, chatting with other seat passangers , Wow! Blew my mind . We left on time and landed on time too. We had premium economy seats - felt like business class other than reclining level of the seats. Pretty good value!!"

Cons: "Flight was one hour delayed not due to equipment but because the ground crew failed to load the cargo in time! That was annoying. (Then an ill patient had to be removed resulting in a further delay trying to retrieve her luggage.) I felt bad for those with tight connections."

Pros: "Reliable service. Flew Air NZ twice without any hiccups. Boards on time, leaves on time. Get a biscuit (cookie), drink, and sweet. Had room on both flights also. Not packed to the gills and enjoyed the aerial view of the lovely NZ countryside."

Pros: "We fly a lot and have flown American, European, Asian airlines but this has to be the best experienxe ever. First, their checkin is all automated, even baggage. That makes the lines really short. Their staff standing by to help at every moment. When we used another airline in Australia Jetstar, we waited in line for one hour and then were scolded for being late! We even had to pay for our water and the staff took turn scolding us over our overhead bin stuff. Boarding of NZ airline was so comfortable, without pushing or crowds. Staff always welcoming you with a smile. Seats are wide and we were given free drinks, free headohones, and wait for it.... free dinner! And all served so politey and in the most gracious manner as if we were their guests. We were so taken back by their service and this was the aecond time we have flown with them in 10 days. My young daughter thought may be their staff gets paid more so they seem to be so much more happy. I also think that there is something when you dehumanize your customers by charging them for water and being uncaring to their needs. The staff also starts to treat the customers as cattle. Besides Southwest Airlines, I havent come across one another airline where the staff treat their custmoers with reapect while charging them for water. So airlines, take note. I would pay $50 per ticket extra just to be in NZ airline."
Cons: "Boarding is an issue. Please have more staff in the early stages of boarding to make sure people go to the correct lines . It's not immediately obvious and leads to frustration . I wasn't too bothered as I worked it out quickly but I could hear many others expressing their frustration around me . I was disappointed in the movie selection. I wanted more new release movies to choose from . Cabin crew friendly and polite . Love the wine ! Put up with being cramped .. would love more leg room but overall very happy ! Thank You everyone involved !"

I really wish the other three crews could have kept this momentum going as my other flights with ANZ were less than thrilling! The flight attendant staff was phenomenal on my iah to akl leg. My crew on the akl to iah leg. Brandon gave the initial intro and seemed to follow the original crews standards. Unfortunately, we had an older flight attendant who seemed less than thrilled to be with us this flight."

Pros: "Crew, ground and flight crew, were all so friendly and accommodating. Great access to free snacks/drinks, but the best was the seats with the footrests that lift all the way up to form a couch, even for those of us who aren't able to fly business class, but are frequent flyers."
Cons: "The video system wasn't as good as say, Virgin or B.A., but it's such a small issue, compared to the superior comfort of coach in Air New Zealand to the other steerage-like coach classes."

Cons: "Fixed arm rests in the bassinet row. We had extra seats which was a lovely surprise but it was not much help as the arm rests don't move. Won't pay for that row again as my bub was just a bit too heavy for the bassinet."

Cons: "I payed $50.00 USD on a seat so I would have a bigger seat. However, when I got into the plane, the lady that was going to be seating next to me asked me if I could change my seat with her husband; which was a regular seat. In order to avoid an awkward 12 hour flight, I agreed to change my bigger seat for a smaller seat. I felt disappointment that Air New Zealand separates parties and leaves room for uncomfortable situations. I really did not know what to do in this scenario, I paid for that seat but was in a way forced to give it a away without any refund in order to avoid 12 hours seating with some stranger's wife."

Cons: "temperature regulation on the plane was quite poor. Parts of the cabin were very warm and others were very cold and flight attendants had difficulty regulating the temperature. food was also quite bland."
Pros: "Generally like the airline, and Auckland airport. The crew onboard was great, but the guy that helped me check in, and the guy that took my money for the extra rad fee were rude and bad with communicating with both me and each other. Seemed a bit clueless really."

Pros: "Best airline I've ever traveled on. The staff was amazing! I felt well cared for and tended to. This airline is very attentive to detail. We took a Christmas Day flight and were told that the very slight turbulence was attributed to Santa landing on the plane. A few minutes later, St Nick made a little cameo to say hello to the children aboard! Loved it!!"
Cons: "Would have been more exciting to land early if our gate was ready. Better to wait on the ground than their air I guess but after 11 hours on a plane the last thing you want to do is wait longer. Realize that's on the airport and not the airline, although there should be communication there."
