Pros: "The crew on Air NZ is consistently wonderful. The entertainment and sets for domestic flights are good, but not great. For international flights, their seats and entertainment are excellent."
Cons: "Had to cancel trip because a passenger was hit by a car one week before the trip. Refused a refund by the airline."

Cons: "My usb charging plug didn’t work and I wish they sent me an email in advance or told me upon check in what the requirements were that I would have to show upon boarding. I was not prepared to show them my follow on flight schedule (leaving NZ) but I would have been prepared if I had known in advance"
Pros: "The gate agents and the gate supervisors were rude and condescending My reservation was changed mid air and even though I made it to the gate 18 to Houston on time and boarding was still in progress I was not allowed to board. I was informed a plane was not a bus that I could hop on anytime I liked. When I protested that I had a confirmed reservation I was calmly told. “We canceled it because we didn’t expect you to make it.”"
Cons: "I missed my Thanksgiving Holiday because some powers that be decided I would not be able to make a connection So instead of waiting to we if I missed it and rebook then, like a normal airline, they preemptively cancelled and denied boarding."

Cons: "Very cramped in window seat, quite claustrophobic really. Not a comfortable 11hr flight."

I enjoyed everything generally. However, getting from the Tarmac to the arrival building required we got on a Bus and meaning they had to wait on everyone to get in from the plane eating a significant amount of time and we still had to get o. The air shuttle to get to the arrival building and saw passengers with connections having to run all the way.
Entertainment system should be adjusted to allow travellers to use their own Bluetooth earphones or non-expensive wired earbuds provided at no charge.
First off, I don’t know if it was for branding purposes but this was NOT an “Air Canada” booking. Both departure and return flights were operated by United Airlines. This made the boarding process confusing and annoying, having to switch terminals in haste. I was even late for my departure flight in Chicago due to the confusion which resulted in a re-booking. Make the process easier in the booking email/app as to how to properly check-in/where to go for United Airlines flights under the Air Canada brand. Even the flight # provided were both different under UA. This was subpar service!
I didn't get to take this flight due to delays and missed flight
Flight was delayed for 5 hours from 11:45 to 17:11 and my hotel check out was 9:00 on the morning. Very last minute delay and there should be more compensation than $20 dollar meal vouchers.

Cons: "As much as the flight was truly very good and the crew very friendly and helpful as much as the equipment (airplane, seats, entertainment) really shabby and certainly not worth the the 2500,00 $ I paid for a better seat. I could of flown with Air transat and get better than I got with Air Canada. I feel it was rip off. Quality - price not there . Please give your crew a better uniform. The ones they wear now is very sad and oldish looking. If I think this and am 67 years old, imagine what the younger generation thinks."
Pros: "The flight was running late due to technical difficulties but they did take good care of us. Even the rescheduling of the connecting flight was easy."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed from Honolulu. This made Customs and Screening stressful...as there was only 45 minutes to get through and then to the gate. No one advised that there was another plane shortly, which would have reduced the feeling that we had to sprint down to the gate. Otherwise a very good flight"

Cons: "Old plane, and business class is just ok. So sad that Air Canada is only flying this route with Rouge... they just are ok. Boarding was a gong show - they blocked off the area with little posts to keep people organized and were boarding a big flight to Tokyo right beside us. Horrible."

Knowing more clearly if I’m getting an air Canada or United flight. And ability to move tix dates even at this price point. My dad is sick and I wanted to extend my trip a couple of days but I was prohibited and fare was pretty expensive as is.
Cons: "The front desk in Vancouver, Canada did not allow me to board the plane to Tokyo. I am supposed to attend the memorial service of my Mom who passed away two days before."
Pros: "Haven't flown United, now we remember why. Paid extra for comfort and the seats we had were actually more cramped than those around our seating. A long trip with no food, unless you want to pay more than a high end restaurant in Maui. No entertainment made a long, uncomfortable flight unbearable."
Cons: "Snide check-in woman at United when she glibly announced that there was no connecting flight since my flight was delayed. She was cold and snarky and of absolutely no help."
Cons: "Delays due to to weather is not a new thing to worry, but flight delay should be informed early to the passengers so that I should have planned the arrival to the airport accordingly, but I was told just before the gate prior to boarding time and the delay was around 3 hrs."

Cons: "They ran out of baggage space quickly. United needs to police bag sizes more. It’s not fair that people boarding the plane in the second half should have to check a bag because the first half of people brought on way oversized carry on bags and took up more than their fair share of space."

Cons: "A pancake sized hole was burned into my luggage destroying my clothing, toiletries and computer. United Airlines Baggage Services has directed me to purchase replacements for the items destroyed and submit receipts. However, they are maintaining they will NOT replace my laptop which was destroyed. It will cost over $1000 to replace the laptop alone."

Cons: "Limited Space for Carry on luggage had to exit plane in order to check the bag in to cargo area. Confused as to why the crew chosen had no Spanish speaking attendants. We were going to panama there will more then 1 traveler that may not know how to speak English."
