Flight LA to Sydney was first moved earlier by 2 hrs from 10:25 pm to 8:25pm roughly a week before departure. Then on actual departure date, it was delayed 2x, and needed up leaving close to 10 pm. Then entertainment for the whole flight wasn’t working for most of the seats including ours. The baby crib at the middle isle was being taped to the wall to keep it tacked in using a packing tape while passengers were walking by looking for their seats. Not projecting good confidence. After a few minutes after take off the whole crib fell off. Good the people seating next to it wast hit or got scared. At arrival at Sydney, crew handed the customs forms as we were getting out of the plane. So passengers had to scramble to find a place to fill up the forms along the corridor going to immigration. So no one is available to help from Qantas to fill up the entry forms. Not a very good experience for a flagship carrier.

Cons: "Seats should have a USB port for charging devices. Podcast selection was poor on the entertainment system and usually only had one or two episodes. Because podcasts are often free (or can be licensed cheaply) and require little storage, system should have last 20 episodes of the best 100 podcasts."

Cons: "Crew spoke little English it seemed. Maybe they did not understand my American accent. They never acknowledged my requests and repeatedly would overlook me for drinks or food. When I would give them my order, they would diaappear, then reappear with the order wrong. On. Every. Single. Occasion.... They were rude and dismissive. Food was barely adequate of what I served."

Cons: "Leg room okay unless person in front puts there seat back and then it is almost impossible to be comfortable, even if you put your seat back. Food distribution is done in mysterious ways. Movies were the same coming and going even though it was more than a month between flights."

Pros: "We love the space in the seats on the new Airbus 380. It is so spacious, and the seats are very comfortable. The movie selection was pretty good."
Cons: "if I remember correctly the screen size was a little small for a new plane. Also I asked for two alcohol drinks, but was told only one may be served. I only asked so I wouldn't have to get up during my movie, and on Air New Zealand, they freely offer more than one drink. Also, if I remember correctly the arm rests did not raise all the way. We had all three seats to ourselves, and it would have been nice to lift the armrests all the way up so we could stretch out properly."
Staff was very helpful, polite, efficient. Food was excellent. Business class seat very comfortable.

Cons: "I prepaid for my meal and it was brought to me soon after I boarded about 4pm. I wasn’t hungry as I already had lunch. It would have been better to bring it for me at dinner time, Sydney time as that’s what my body clock was on. The last service was too close to landing."
