We were told that people with boarding passes of the original flight date had to wait for more recent passes. This led many to think that they would be kicked off the flight after waiting 24hrs. Once we did finally board we found that they had made a mistake and had to deboard a passenger resulting in an extra hour delay"

As soon as I rebooked my flight, both airport in Houston closed anyways. So is this still my fault and did I have to still pay an extra $350??"

Since every single passenger has to go through a face to face session with a physical person, CI should really have more personnel available at LAX for the check-in procedures. The business lounge, provided by Korean Airlines, is a big disappointment. Food not worth mentioning. Going through security at TPE for passengers in transit there is no short line. The only line is very, very long, although quick enough. The facility for this procedure should also be renewed."

Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"

I knew this information based on online reviews, but the airline itself never did anything to offer this, I had to walk around on the airport, for like 2 hours I could not find decent help and some instructions in broken English. I had to pay 25 Euros to get mi visa stamped and walk out of the airport. The Turkish Airlines attendant that set up the free hotel for us, walked us to a shuttle that would drive us to the hotel, but the shuttle driver got lost? or something happened that caused for him to drive around town for more than an hour, speaking on the phone loudly in Turkish and completely ignoring us when we asked questions, This got a little scary since we had no idea what was going on, at some point we were in the middle of a dark residential area, and listening to the driver yell on the phone (god knows what). Luckily a driver came over and guided us to the hotel, but seriously, they should be careful about who they hire for these kind of tasks. (I posted a video on instagram with footage of the guy driving us around in case my family needed to find me)."

We had continued to receive emails for our original flight which still existed. Have no idea why they would move us in the first place and not tell us. We had to go through the hassle of getting switched back to our earlier flight which took an additional hour of dealing with people. This mimics our experience flying from Dalaman to Istanbul when our flight was canceled and we received no notification. They told us it was too early to receive a notification (we were there 12 hours in advance). However, had we arrived within the suggested window and found out it was canceled we never would have been able to reschedule to a connecting flight that still got us to Madrid in time.When checking our bags, the clerk tried to tell us that a backpack and small purse were too big to count as personal items even though they had been fine on ALL of our previous flights. I pointed out that individuals in other lines had larger backpacks that were being counted and he finally acquiesced but with a lot of attitude. The plane was then an hour late. The sign for boarding continued to tell us it was on time up until 45 minutes AFTER we were supposed to have boarded when it finally updated and said 'delayed'. The crew stood around laughing and providing zero updates as we all worried about whether or not we would make our connecting flights. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL"

Cons: "7:50 am flight, arrived EZE 5 am as instructed, boarded plane at 10:40 am, missed connecting flight and spent 14 hours in Lima, shuttled off to a hotel 1-1/2 away, for a 2am flight. Arrived next day in LA and missed shuttle. Both legs very poor service on and off airplane, added security for having to enter Peru complicated and delayed things further. LAN used to be the best to SA, LATAM is the worst, never again."

Latam wanted us to fly in three different seats we told them that we were happy to flight next day but they pushed till last minute waiting. Pros: "The Dreamliner 787-900 is a great plane, even in economy, and LATAM treated me better than an ordinary carrier, despite the budget fare."
Pros: "Super comfortable seats. First time i've ever been able to sleep on airplane seats because the seats go far enough back that you don't fall over sideways when you sleep. Food was great. The service was wonderful. The airplanes are new, with new technology"

Cons: "The food was poor. At least three middle rows did not have any entertainment. We reported the problem, the chief/supervisor flight attendant said that she was going to assign us new seats, she then disappear and did nothing to solve the problem. I spoke with another flight attendant requesting to speak with this supervisor again, she said that I rather voice my complaint through latam.com and the mentioned supervisor, not only lied to us, but never showed up. It appears that latam needs to reinforce their staff training or perhaps to renew their staff supervisors and train them to avoid unnecessary lies to their passengers."

Cons: "HORRIBLE pre flight, and in airport staff. Incompetent, zero clue as to handle a delayed flight forced every passenger to hand over passports into communal plastic bags and took them for 2 hours somewhere in the airport unknown to us. I should never have to give up my passport into plastic bags/strangers EVER. They lost my customs paper, and then proceeded to accuse me of "selling it"--They took it after I passed through customs initially and if they put it back in passport after they threw them all in plastic bags- god knows where it is, or who's hands it was in who may have took it. They would not give us food vouchers, or water. They couldn't figure out how to get buses and hotel rooms for people- basic simple business skills-- add number of passengers going to hotel, calculate number of seats per bus and that will get you the number of buses needed--- they couldn't figure that out. I will call and give more detail, I promise."

Pros: "Being in economy seats for 12+ hours could have felt more cramped, because I'm a big guy. However, there was adequate space as long as the kid in the next seat has had adequate parenting. (That was a problem, but I can't blame that on the airline.) The flight attendants were helpful and friendly."
Cons: "As others have said, the food wasn't great. It's kind of a cross between Chinese and western fare, but it's edible. Also, the economy seats were a little hard. I sat on my memory foam neck cushion to give my butt a break."

Someone said there are only 70 passes for the entire plane. - Similar experience with “free wifi” Guangzhou’s Bayun airport if you don’t have a Chinese simcard in your phone. - Navigating China Southern’s website for online check-in is a nightmare."

The storm would have been avoided had the plane been on time to begin with. Missed my connection and then had to argue with the manager for 2+ hours just to get a flight that wasn't a full 24 hours away. Was then told that they couldn't upgrade my seat because the flight was full, both business and premium economy had empty rows of seats. Throughout the experience China Southern employees lied to me and did everything possible to make the process harder. Had multiple employees just walk away from me without helping. Will never fly China Southern ever again."

Fifteen hours is too long to go without some access to distracting material. Granted there was a language barrier between us, but he shared his first language with the flight crew. His seat was 43J on flight CZ 399 from Guangzhou to JFK departing November 24, 2016 at 1:50 AM. Get on it!"

Cons: "The attendants were ok. Food was below average. The juice tasted fake. We missed our connection and were advised by the staff never to take that because it is ALWAYS delayed"
