So many people are plant-based now and I wish HA offered that to patrons. 3) Movies and TV in-flight should be free, as in...gratis. Other carriers offer free in-flight entertainment and HA should not charge. 4) The planes are nice, the crew is FABULOUS; truly a standout in the industry. They have that beautiful Aloha spirit."

Cons: "My wife and I had our seats changed by the airline after we had already made seat assignments, so we were not together on either of the round trip flight to Kauai from Los Angeles. Flights were both full so no way to change seats once at the airport. Aircraft did not change from when we booked our flight and made seat assignments, to the day of the flights. The food served was okay, but I don't eat carbos and all the food served was full of carbos. I choose to not utilize a smart phone, or other electronic devices, and the plane had no entertainment services if you don't have a smart phone or pad."

Airline delay caused 2 hour delay getting our rental car. We didn't get to our lodging until midnight and should have been there by 7 pm."

I have asthma. Being sprayed with chemicals is a serious health concern for anyone, but especially for those of us with asthma. They sprayed a cloud of chemicals directly over our heads and we sat helpless as the spray settled onto our clothes and skin and into our mouth and lungs. I had a asthma attack, and when I told the stewardess she looked at me and said "It won't be much longer." It was another 15 minutes. I was so unwell that I asked my husband if he would be able to carry me if I passed out. I also unfortunately forgot my ebook reader in the seat due to my attack. When I wrote customer service I received only "We will forward your message" and no response beyond that regarding the return of my device. This entire experience has caused me great distress and I am sincerely hopeful that as a corporation you will take steps to ensure the welfare of your customers by ensuring they are aware of all treatments to expect when on board your aircraft. Had I known, I could have brought a mask and saved my serious asthma attack. I probably would not also be without my ebook reader."

Cons: "Arrived late due to an accident on the road. In Kauai, there is some kind of policy where they shut down the road for 3 hours if there's a bad accident. There's only one road to the airport from the north to the south shore. We were stuck due to this and therefore barely made it on time. We tried to explain this to the staff and asked if they could get us through quicker or check us in so we wouldn't miss the flight, and they just said we were out of luck. Weren't helpful at all. After having to scan our bags a second time by the airline (after TSA), we were dead last in line, and were told we lost our seats because we didn't check in on time. Therefore we were seated apart, and I was put further back in the plane very close to the pregnant woman with gas and the babies who screamed the entire flight. I had a window seat originally and lost it due to no fault of my own. Someone else was also sitting in my newly assigned seat and when I asked the staff to help us sort it out, they actually asked me to move since he was with his wife. After getting on the plane, we were forced to check our bags that we just got on with and it was a major hold up for everyone trying to get seated. Then, after landing, exhausted, and ready to go home, we had to wait for the bags to come out of the checked baggage claim area. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our bags because they were dead last and there was some issue with the conveyor belt. This is really poor planning on their part and made the trip even more unenjoyable. To top it off, my girlfriend left her phone on the plane and it was turned in to the staff. When we drove an hour back to get it the next day we were able, we were turned away because they have some new and separate office that is only open during obscure hours that the staff weren't even aware of. We are still trying to figure out how to get the phone back and have called several numbers telling us to call other numbers. It shouldn't be this difficult. I know the phone is in there somewhere. Lastly, food was gross. Don't think airlines will ever get this right. It'd be better to just serve quality mixed greens salads as you don't have to microwave them and they'd be fresh."

Whenever this has been done on other airlines, they always return your bag to you as soon as you get off the plane... not this time! Our bags were sent to baggage claim, and we had a connecting flight with a very short layover window! This means that we were FORCED to leave the airport area, retrieve our bags from baggage claim, go through security AGAIN and almost miss our connecting flight! I expressed to the crew immediately after we got off the plane our situation and that we were never even given an option to give them our bags as we would have never opted in for going all the way out and all the way back in to get to our connection (SO stressful!!). Make a long story short, the staff lied to us about where our bags were going, were NOT helpful when I told them that we needed our bags, and showed no concern or sympathy that we may miss out connecting flight because of their mistake. Winded, mad and extremely late.. we barely got on the connection.. NO THANKS TO THE HAWAIIAN AIRLINES STAFF! Will never fly Hawaiian again!"

No other industry is allowed to treat their customers this way so why does the airline industry do it? Also there's no tv or movies for us to watch while in a 4 hour flight."
