My seat did not lean back. It was so uncomfortable. This needs to be checked prior to flight especially very long one.
Check in took a long time although I had already checked in via app; it took a long time to board; Seats we’re not comfortable; The way food was served was very weird and unpleasant since some people were served first even when we were sitting next to each other. Food was awful! Flight attendants were not very attentive.
Someone from the airport employee open our luggages and stole Nike air 1 shoes and Bally shoes, and 6 Nike dri fit shirt, and lots of chocolates.
Everything is excellent eventhough our flight was cancelled. They provide us accomodation in the hotel and food. I understand why the flight was cancelled and I’m glad they did cause it’s for our own safety.

Even the serving utensils were solid metal and had a very high quality feel to it. Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."
Cons: "The crew lacked its usual pep and cheer. For some reason they seemed very introverted and tired. First time on Singapore Airline that I noticed. The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

The movie selection was great. Take off, flight and landing were smooth. And we arrive half an hour early both directions!"

She kindly moved me to the exit seat and made sure I was sitting in aisle seats for the rest of my three flights. All until boarding the process was quick and breezy. In flight, the attendants were professional and friendly. Always smiling and helpful. The entertainment section and food were superb."

Because of the flight delay and Customs I missed my flight by 10 minutes. And am now awaiting the next flight home which was 4 hours later."

The staff was terribly accommodating and friendly. The entertainment was top notch! The flight was smooth and was as comfortable as a 12 hour flight can be. After the hellish experience I had at both O'hare and LAX, it was a lovely way to end/begin the trip."

This made me lose my next flight (to Luxembourg) and have to pay for a new flight and stay that night in London. Since I had booked them separately, no one helped or offered any compensation."

Cons: "2 hours late because of mechanical issues. They offered food with no water or juice - later only coffee or tea on a 3 and a half hour flight. Staff was not the friendliest - asked for water twice, was told just a moment but was never brought any. How do you not give people water on flight over 3 hours? I would have even paid for it. I have a history of heart failure and was worried because my ankles were swelling and my legs were tingling. We missed our bus because of the delay, The airline staff in taiwan took all of our travel info and said they would help us book other transport to get where we were going in Cambodia. When we got to Cambodia the check-in desk was closed so info told us to go to the china airlines office - we waited almost an hour and still no one showed up (middle of the afternoon). Had to pay 6x the price to get to Sihanoukville plus we weren't able to get a refund on the bus tickets. Crying, screaming kids in front of us kept standing up on the seats so no one behind them could see the TV - staff said nothing. Terrible experience."
Pros: "I very much enjoyed the flight! The airline staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were kind and went out of their way to offer water bottle refills; a huge plus on such a long flight! The meal I requested was vegan and good. There were no loud announcements, bright lights or interruptions for many hours during the flight: very relaxing for sleeping and reading. I will absolutely be flying with them again."

Pros: "I have flown on many airlines to include many US carriers for domestic travel, as well as, many international carriers. I have flown around the world 4 times in the 2016-2017. These flights were flown in Coach. I have to say that China Air was remarkable in its service, cleanliness, on-time departure and arrival, and all around airline operation. The meals were decent, the entertainment was well rounded, the aircraft was clean, the seats were wider and had greater leg room, the flight attendants were responsive and trained, and the on ground support was very helpful. I don't have anything negative to say about China Air and I have crossed the Pacific on thief airline three times now."

Cons: "Had to carry carry-on suit case up and down stairs when boarded the plane. Based on the seat, half of the passengers boarded through regular ramped hall way, half boarded through back door that went downstairs to get out of the building, then up the stairs to the airplane. In Auckland airport international terminal, all passengers had to weight their carry-on and personal bags, and if it's more than seven kg, you have to check it in. This was the first time I experienced that. I bought gifts in the airport and planned to buy more. Our carry ons were a few kg over the limit, and we were sent back to the check in counter, where we just got our boarding passes and no warnings were given. We were lucky we had plenty of time during this transfer to go through all the back and forth hassles. Paying the extra $$ for the surprise check ins was not pleasant. There was another scale at the gate counter, which totally cancelled my shopping plan. To be fair, weight limit was not enforced when we boarded the plane, but you never know when that scale will be used. During the flight, I asked a flight attendant for water, and she told me to get it myself pointing the curtain half a plane away. Another new experience. This was the first time we took Jetstar, and on the way to New Zealand, we didn't feel it was too much different from the other airlines we flew before except you have to pay for everything from a cup of tea to meals and entertainment, and of course we didn't go through Auckland. The return trip really made us realize you get what you pay for."
