I couldn't get out of the seat once as he just slept and must of drempt as kept jumping and banging me. I had 1 meal on the over 13hr flight, which I couldn't eat properly as was unable to use the knife & fork due to the huge obese guy next to me. I asked the stewardess to wake me at all meal times. Which she didn't. So missed all the meals and tea/coffee. I was looking forward to the put a too. The London to Singapore flight was a total let down and I expected so much more from Quantus as they have always been top standard before. Overall disgusted in the service."

The seats are not competitive with other business classes in the sky. I realize that is about to change. I flew Air Canada into Australia, and while my seat was unfortunately broken, the capabilities and overall comfort of their seats is far superior to Qantas. The business class lounge in Sydney had very poor food options in my opinion, and I was quite peckish after having skipped lunch to travel to the airport for a 4pm flight. The food options on the flight were much better, though overall options / taste were just OK."

However, on the return flight when I went to check the bags in they said I would have to pay $210 for 2 bags. Thanks jetsatr and kayak for not having a good process to order a head of time. Won't use either again unless someone reads this and gives me a refund."

Cons: "The price of the flight advertised clearly stated that there were no baggage fees, it was written as £0 after the words 'baggage fees', so I was clearly surprised to be asked to pay $70 upon arrival at the airport from my baggage. Would someone like to explain this? I will be taking this up with the senior partners at your company as I feel this is complete miss advertising. The fact that you can state zero fees and then expect customers to pay extra is RIDICULOUS!!! I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN, EVEN IF THE PRICE IS CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN A COMPETITOR."

Cons: "Had to carry carry-on suit case up and down stairs when boarded the plane. Based on the seat, half of the passengers boarded through regular ramped hall way, half boarded through back door that went downstairs to get out of the building, then up the stairs to the airplane. In Auckland airport international terminal, all passengers had to weight their carry-on and personal bags, and if it's more than seven kg, you have to check it in. This was the first time I experienced that. I bought gifts in the airport and planned to buy more. Our carry ons were a few kg over the limit, and we were sent back to the check in counter, where we just got our boarding passes and no warnings were given. We were lucky we had plenty of time during this transfer to go through all the back and forth hassles. Paying the extra $$ for the surprise check ins was not pleasant. There was another scale at the gate counter, which totally cancelled my shopping plan. To be fair, weight limit was not enforced when we boarded the plane, but you never know when that scale will be used. During the flight, I asked a flight attendant for water, and she told me to get it myself pointing the curtain half a plane away. Another new experience. This was the first time we took Jetstar, and on the way to New Zealand, we didn't feel it was too much different from the other airlines we flew before except you have to pay for everything from a cup of tea to meals and entertainment, and of course we didn't go through Auckland. The return trip really made us realize you get what you pay for."

Pros: "As good as you can get, considering it was economy. I think that the 787 made it that way--wonderful plane! I love Jet Star--being able to up-grade to comfort without much problem."
Cons: "Ordering food, even though a better value than most cut-rate airlines, is a pain to remember, and was difficult for some on board. When you say there will be no other food, people don't want to believe you."
