Singapore check-in was chaotic. On board, a very large oxygen bottle had been left for us. Too big to fit anywhere, or easily access the valves. We were assisted with boarding and disembarking, but never once approached during the flight. The crew were not helpful or friendly. On arrival at Sydney, our wheelchair and half our luggage had been lost. The wheelchair was later found, abandoned in the airport, despite the orange tag on it saying Return to Aircraft Door. As I write this 36 hours later, the luggage is still missing. Waiting time to call Luggage Services was 1 hour.
Would like it if my seat could recline.

Cons: "Flying on 8 Jan is a time when there a lot of holiday makers heading home or perhaps just going on holiday. Lots of young children and a baby crying right behind me wasn't the most relaxing but I realise that nothing can be done about that."

Cons: "The USB charger, the whole entertainment, anything on the remote including light control and bell, stopped working! I wasn't given enough attention, i had to chase the crew a few times, it was a 14 hour flight with nothing working, miserable experience. I was offered a window seat, which i hate, without considering to give me an upgrade. I was given 5,000 Qantas points, i don't know if they can be moved to my AVIOS."

Cons: "The entertaimnet headset socket was faulty and I had to hold the jack in a specific way so I could hear the vocal channels. Sometimes it just dropped out all together. Tried multiple headsets but having the socket and jack on the inside of the armrest where it was so easily knocked by you leg was so incredibly stupid and made it hard to get comfortable or move position in the seat. First time I've ever seen this on a plane. Ok, so Qantas got us there safely but the inflight movies its what makes it bearable."

Pros: "The Qantas lounge in Singapore is very nice. Nothing special relative to some others like Cathay, but lots of showers and good food are the key for a stopover, and the Qantas Lounge has that. The meal options are better out of Singapore than coming in to Singapore, The "order ahead" breakfast concept, where you place your order for breakfast when you board has it pros and cons. The personal service is nice, but one needs to know almost 12 hours ahead of time what they feel like eating. Overall a positive, but for me, it's hard for me to anticipate my appetite. It was my first A380 flight (together with the Sydney - Singapore leg), and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful."
Cons: "Mostly an issue with security, two separate very long lines. The lines are marked priority and economy, but those are not adhered to. The seats in business class are not very comfortable. I feel like I had more comfortable seats 15 years ago on BA, and the world has come a long way since then. The planned upgrades are sorely needed."

Pros: "The Singapore Qantas lounge is well set up, despite one or two small issues. Boarding was easy after the usual Singapore gate lounge procedures. On board the crew (led by Brigita) could not have been better. I LOVE the 1 -2 - 1 business configuration. Meals and refreshments on board were just great and I enjoyed that the crew didn't disturb me (Emirates are particularly rude in this regard) when it was clear I was sleeping until descent."
Cons: "Qantas, being an Australian airline, I am clueless as to why, in the airline lounge: Australian Sauvignon Blancs are not available (NZ phewee!) Bundaberg Rum (Ozzie icon) is not available. For a major hub, it is also not clear why a separate business lounge doesn't operate."
Pros: "Crew were outstanding. Great service, attention to detail and simply better than I have experienced in the past 10+ years travelling Business. Well done!"
Cons: "Entertainment system on our section of the Qantas A330-200 had failed and was not operational for the entire trip. This meant no movies, no music, no safety video or announcements and no flight map for the entire journey of almost 8 hours. Crew were not very responsive to this and it seemed like a low priority vs everything else they were doing. After almost 2 hours and complaingpts from a number of the 24 passengers impacted, they did a "soft and hard reset" of the system which did nothing. Initially crew suggested they had an alternative (Tablets) but subsequently denied this. I felt they had already handed these out and did not hav enough. Having been the very first person to raise this issue (10 mins before the flight was to leave), I felt I should have been offered one, but clearly they did not do so. Altogether pretty disgusted with crew attitude and responsiveness. We also felt the food was of very poor quality too - it was too salty and what should have been crisp was soggy. We will NEVER fly Qantas again (even a code share)."
