These are not obvious . There needs to be a staff member or two checking people as they arrive in a line to check they're in the correct t line . Otherwise people don't trailer until they have been in the wrong line until the reach the top of the line . Leads to frustration even before the flight begins! Otherwise great job everyone ! However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

There was one to two person doing the checked in and it took about 40 minutes to get done, unacceptable. The lines for non on line check in went faster then the on-line and they have four times more people that was in the on-line checked in. In flight, the seat felt liked you're sitting on a rock after a couple of hours. I'm an aircraft mechanic who used to be a flyer with 7,000 flying hours."

Very stressful and tiring. There was not even a proper accommodation for this very long wait between flights. This experience will be told to all my friends and trust me it will be a very bad, negative endorsement."

This procedure is Unjust and Humiliating for innocent passengers try to take a flight with absolutely nothing to hide."

Once arrived in Boston, took 1hr before luggage started unloading, and then to find out our 4 bags didn't come at all. Staff on ground not courteous, wouldn't send bags to home town in Raleigh. Had to wait till afternoon to get the bags and then fly to final destination. Entertainment system very bad, audio/video stop and go, stop and go- really terrible (though notice some people's screens were working fine)."
My flight from Sydney to LA the headphones and the jack didn’t work. I informed the crew member it was an over 15 hour flight with no sound in entertainment. I asked if they had kosher or halal options in one of the flights to Brisbane, the crew member wasn’t pleasant in the reply. I took the vegetarian option that’s fine but surely the crew member can say no in a more pleasant way. Although I had a great time in Australia. Thank you

Pros: "Boarding from an obscure gate, then being bused quite a long way to the plane was slow and tedious. There were many queues and delays along the way and the plane was late leaving. Food was not great but we we were not offered anything to drink not even water with the meal until we had finished eating. I know crew works hard but that seemed a time management problem. There is no service involved plonking down a tray. Water could be included."

Pros: "Had problems with check in because of china eastern mishandling our baggage, the Quantas staff got everything sorted for us. Plenty of leg room on the flight and the cabin staff were fantastic, only thing that let it down was the food choice, but, as it was only a 3 hour flight this wasn;t really a problem. Would gladly fly with them again any time."

After the hellish experience I had at both O'hare and LAX, it was a lovely way to end/begin the trip."

Pros: "The crew was very friendly and accommodating. It's a lot big flight from DFW to Sydney and they do everything they can to make you comfortable. Plenty of movies to watch. Seats are comfortable. The food is pretty good. Plus you get a menu so you know exactly what meal choices are. They go above and beyond to ensure a great flight."

Cons: "There was a high school sports team that were very rowdy and nosiy on this red eye flight. The flight crew made them sit down (as they kept getting up and turning around) but did nothing to try and keep them quiet. I was exhausted and had been flying for 24 hours already and was kept awake and annoyed by this group. No drink or snack service was provided becasue it was a red eye flight but I was kept awake by the rowdy kids and could have really used it!"

Cons: "Itinerary I received was for British Airways, with whom I have always had excellent experiences. However, I discovered at check-in I would actually be traveling on American Airlines with a different flight no. I had already provided my BA flight numbers to family. No explanation was give to me prior to flight that this would be the case. Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

We had no options to pass the time for an eight hour flight. The crew was unconcerned about the problem. They seemed grumpy!! This plane should not be used for long haul flights."

Cons: "We were forced to check our Uppababy Vista stroller at EWR departures that we hoped to check at the gate. Needless to say this made it difficult to get our toddler through security. At baggage claim only half our stroller was there - they had disconnected the seat from the wheels. Luckily we spotted what looked like a similar frame to ours at the gate when we landed. It then took another forty minutes for the baggage claim office person to go through security, to the arrival gate and back to baggage claim."

Cons: "Our luggage was lost for 2.5 hrs in PHX airport, due to mix-up by service rep at customer service. AA attendant at gate at CLT was extremely rude and unprofessional when I accuse Left my boarding passes in seat pocket. Would not summon someone to retrieve it. Made me wait until entire plane was disembarked and cleaned, and made me wait some more after. She was super snarky, made rude comments, and almost made my family miss our connection to EWN. I will never, ever, fly AA again. Worst customer service and tons of issues with maintenance, luggage handling, and delays."

Cons: "It was very cold, even with my vent closed and wearing a sweater. The food did not taste very good. One of the flight attendants (middle aged Caucasian male) was rude with an overall dismissive demeanor. For example, I requested water and he handed me a cup of warm water while giving everyone else around me a cup of ice with their beverage without being asked."

Cons: "The delay with our flight leaving Rome was tied to a delay at JFK the evening before, so although there was nothing to be done at the Rome end, it was inconvenient. Also, because we needed to make a connection in New York, this set the stage for delays on the last leg of our journey"

When boarding, one pass failed scan. They immediately printed another without comment. While in line to board my friend noticed they changed her seat from 4D to 36F. We returned to complain. They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."

Cons: "AA failed to allow me to check in at initial arrival in Grande Prairie airport so I had to rush to get a boarding pass in Calgary where the AA agent told me it was not an AA problem and sent me back to WestJet. WestJet discovered that it was an AA problem and returned me to the AA counter where it was resolved. Then I had to rush to catch the flight and missed any opportunity to have a decent lunch between flights. Then there was no food offered on the AA flight to Dallas."
