They supply earbuds, socks, toothbrush and paste."

We were expected to pay a fee at the counter but was charged $170 for the counter checkin of one bag. This price was not listed or posted anywhere during the booking or via email for mobile check-in."

The total for our flight was going to cost us $880! We found a brand-new flight with another company for $670! It is disgraceful! I will never use KAYAK because they used this airline and they don't let you know it! we never got our money back for the flight we did not use. It was a hard lesson learned. Whole thing"

Secondly when I made the booking I not able to include luggage for some reason and when I went back to add luggage I was charged a crazy fee of $61 for 15kg which no other airline charges that way. Though jetstar is categorised as budget airline yet the price wasn't that different from normal airline and yet passengers loose all benefits. Even small requests like a change of seat was not entertained. When we purchase a certain luggage if at all we go excess by even 1kg we get overages but when we travel with less than the purchased luggage do we ask for any refund. I guess the true value of customer satisfaction has being lost and no one really cares. It not always due to price factors people choose budget airline but at times it because we fail to get seats on other flights."

The carousel didn’t give us our luggage until 45 mins of standing there waiting after an overnight flight!! Aircraft was way too cold. And had to ask for 1 cup of water, not even offered to us."

And there is no alternative, other than going without, as no drinks can be brought on board given that security check is right at the gate. Crew were friendly and professional at all times and I felt sorry for them as they are the front-line for these ridiculous policies."
