Pros: The reception personnel called Hamid who recommended to upgrade my room for a small difference and adding breakfast to my booking since I'm dining in the hotel which saves me money .. his advice was really worth the difference and loved his welcoming tone and service .. the view was amazing and the room was spacious. Breakfast was excellent specially in the new resturant and the service of waiter Rami was a great as he was very friendly, energetic and welcoming. And what made this experience great is the amazing location near the attractions and shopping area.

Cons: Room service wasn't up to 5 stars hotel it was very poor in terms of presentation and quality .. I asked for water refills and it took them around an hour to respond after 3 phone calls and the lady who took the order was rude and kept on saying that she needs to check if it was included with the room rate!! then she stated that it was refilled already in the morning which I confirmed that it wasn't since I didn't use the minibar at all the day before !! I didn't like the tone and the process at all which was the opposite totally to the dining service in their restaurant.

It is perfectly located next to the opera and numerous other important landmarks, high street shopping, museums and transport. We were absolutely thrilled by the truly old world charm, decor, room and services (turndown service, e.g.) and the excellent modern functionality of it all. Despite being on an important and busy street, there was no noise whatsoever in the rooms. Absolutely everything here meets the highest standards in hotel management.

Cons: Found the overall staff service to be lacking. Concierge typically jumps at opportunity to provide service/advice but not here. For the most part, the hotel bars and restaurants are over-hyped and completely over-priced with much better alternatives just a few steps away (both quality and price). Smell of stale smoke hits you just as you enter the building - thanks to a smoking lounge conveniently located on the second level. Hotel wifi is a total joke and not to be relied upon. Hotel includes restricted wifi with your room rate and asks ridiculous payment for slight improvement. In my experience even budget accommodations provide this service infinitely better. Overall, this is a stuffy hotel situated for the stuffy traveler. Sounds of enjoyment or laughter are non-existent in common areas, which speaks volumes. Call yourself luxury, and pay for memberships in luxury hotel associations all you want - it doesn't make it so.

In D-Bar we met Nicolas and his colleague (sorry I didn’t ask the other bartenders name!) they were professional and fun at the same time! They made us feel at home and made fabulous suggestions for dinner in Vienna!!! Thank you both!!! Also Amanda at the desk was polite and helpful- the bellhop was extra helpful! The aspect that struck me as the most wonderful was that anytime I was lost in the hotel the staff (regardless of their specific responsibilities) walked me out of their way to where I was going! Yes the hotel is a bit expensive but when you put that along with the amazing service it was worthwhile!!!

Pros: A very enjoyable stay, fabulous room and fabulous breakfast. The setting and location were excellent, the suite was spacious and well decorated. As the stay was part of a birthday celebration, the hotel staff made a great effort to mark the occasion, which was thoughtful and very much appreciated. Looking forwards to going back, would definitely recommend.

Pros: The check in staff was great, he briefed us around the hotel and the facilities young nice man. The staff from the concierge were also pleasant and helpful. The staff from the spa were also very nice and helpful. However there were always a few staff standing by the main door I really didn’t see why there were there. Most of the time during my stay while walking through the door they were standing there chatting away to each other, a few occasion they were even almost blocking the door and had no intention to stand back / give way . That’s why I call them the black sheep in the family. The price I think high for what they offer, tbh my expectation was above what I experienced from this hotel considering it supposed to be one of the best hotels in Vienna. But overall nice stay and very considerate.

Cons: The pool is very small (not possible to swim) and pretty cold since they hold the water temperature at 25 degrees what they say is a standard for Marriott hotels but from my point of view that is too cold - therefore have this on mind if you chose this hotel expecting to have good spa treatment since you will be disappointed as I was. Also the whirlpool was not functioning during my stay.

Cons: We paid extra for a corner room to have most light and view, and we got a room under the roof where the windows sat so high up that I, even when jumping you could not look out! We had let the hotel know in advance that i suffer from claustrophobia. The receptionists were very arrogant and had zero training in hospitality. We had also holes in our sheets! Most of the money and the 5 star of this hotel was only for its entrance! We will never stay at Le Meridien! We have never ever stayed at such a unwelcoming and impersonal hotel!

My sister and I basically stocked up for breakfast/lunch at the hotel and didn’t eat again until dinner. Very luxurious eggs and coffee to order and buffet options. The room was also lovely. We had a nice view, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Really convenient location— close to the parliament building and central town area.

Pros: The staff was absolutely nice, and all my needs were fulfilled. The room was sparkling and very silent. Good amenities too. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety of everything: cheese, cold cuts, fruits, home made yogurts, cereals, vegetables, breads. Etc. The location is at a walkable distance of basically everything you need to see in the city centre. We could not be happier with our choice!
Cons: Absolutely nothing. If something the air conditioning was rather too high. But that's my case, since I don't like it so much. Perhaps scrambled and boiled eggs should be made available, rather than having to order them.

Cons: The room worked out to be pretty expensive because we upgraded (refer above). We booked the room quite late so our own fault really. They sold us on the room upgrade to have access to the executive lounge but it wasn't worth the extra cost for this. What food snacks were available in the lounge were always empty even an hour after it opened so don't expect much from this but for an extra 25 Euro per night the upgrade was worth it.

I got this hotel for the own bar and the decent number of rooms thinking that as a solo traveler it will be a great way to meet new people. Low in behold - the bartender is very nice and knowlegeble, speaks great english ( even though i know german), but the bar itself is dead. There are barely 6-8 guests at a time, you wont be meeting anyone there. it is slightly cheaper, than bars on kentner strasse, so I would stop buy and have a drink before heading out.

The Radisson Blu Style Hotel Vienna is located in the heart of Vienna at Herrengasse 12 in the 1st district of Vienna. It was the first designer boutique hotel to open in the City center in Vienna. The building dates back to 1914 when it was built by the architect Franz Krasny a student of Otto Wagner. In the late 20th century the building was a bank which can still be seen when you visit our fitness sauna area as the safedoors are still built in. In 2004 the interior of the building was renovated. This building is listed on the historical register of the City of Vienna. In 2005 the Style Hotel Vienna opened its doors for the first guests. 2015-2018 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winner

Cons: Restaurants are expensive, and menus were not that appealing to us. We did hope to have an after dinner drink or dessert at the rooftop terrace one. The night we tried to do so, half the restaurant and the bar were closed for a private party. Disappointing.
There is no coffee available prior to 7 a.m., nor were we able to find anywhere near by where we could get some prior to an early departure for a tour. Seems the best option is to get a coffee drink from the refrigerated section of the grocery across the street ahead of time.

But we particularly liked the guest kitchen which had everything for making a quick meal. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Pros: A hostel type accommodation in a decent location (10 mins walk from Schottenring station on U4). Our room was clean and had the basic amenities. The staff was very nice and helpful. Cons: Wish there was a hot water kettle in the room to make a cup of tea/coffee. The room tariff was a bit on the higher side compared to the amenities offered. The guest kitchen had a big, open trash bin causing the kitchen to have a slightly bad smell. It would be nice if this is replaced with a covered bin.

Cons: The breakfast was a cold one (excepting the boiled eggs), the same every morning - it could use an improvement in terms of adding some hot dishes. Our room had dirty and bruised walls. Also, the couch that was the third bed was not very comfortable. A refrigerator in the room is necessary (there was one in the kitchen, where everybody kept their food, but the hotel has a lot of rooms, so it was loaded ).

Pros: it is impossible to offer better location, hotel is situated right in the centre of the old town. Unfortunately we could not enjoy all advantages of this location and hotel itself, because we came to Vienna in the evening and left hotel at 6 am, but all we saw was impressive and defintely worth of a second try. even though the street was noisy we heard nothing of it in the room. Due to the air-conditioning system it was not necessary to open the window.

The rooms were well insulated from other rooms and the corridor, so we were not at all disturbed by other guests. There isn’t a kettle in the room and you have to ask but is subject to availability. We got the last battered kettle with a broken sprout, though it was working. Toiletries were fair. Pity really. It would have been a really nice place if they ironed out the kinks
