Cons: Found the overall staff service to be lacking. Concierge typically jumps at opportunity to provide service/advice but not here. For the most part, the hotel bars and restaurants are over-hyped and completely over-priced with much better alternatives just a few steps away (both quality and price). Smell of stale smoke hits you just as you enter the building - thanks to a smoking lounge conveniently located on the second level. Hotel wifi is a total joke and not to be relied upon. Hotel includes restricted wifi with your room rate and asks ridiculous payment for slight improvement. In my experience even budget accommodations provide this service infinitely better. Overall, this is a stuffy hotel situated for the stuffy traveler. Sounds of enjoyment or laughter are non-existent in common areas, which speaks volumes. Call yourself luxury, and pay for memberships in luxury hotel associations all you want - it doesn't make it so.

Pros: Our room was very quiet and extremely clean. Wifi was free and never had any problems with it. Breakfast was wonderful and atmosphere was very relaxed with friendly staff. Location was 1/2 a block from the subway which was so convenient for taking the U1 straight to the downtown attractions. St. Stephen's Cathedral is a must visit!!!

Cons: They do not have a dedicated concierge, and front desk staff was poorly trained and equipped to provide the customer service you would expect of a concierge. In the concierge capacity, they are neither proactive to support their guests, nor do they have the knowledge or experience to meet the needs of their guests Also, the window shutters in the rooms do not effectively block out light when you are trying to sleep.

This hotel has at its costumers' disposal 67 outer rooms, 9 out of the 67 are superior standard rooms and 2 suites. All of them are excellently well-equipped and decorated. In addition, the hotel offers a wide range of services such as free ADSL in all its rooms. Please note that the hotel's garage has a 90-degree curved driveway. For large vehicles (more than 2 x 4.5 m), a parking 500 metres away can be used. The price of the parking is 18 EUR/day. Dogs not allowed in the hotel. *Non smoking hotel.

Cons: Kayak/ Get a Room advertise "Laundry Facilities' for this hotel. On arrival you are informed that this includes only an iron. There are NO laundry facilities and the hotel description needs to get real. The desk clerk came to our rescue by identifying a Laundromat about a 15 min walk away and open till 10pm. At first she refused to make change but then relented. In general, how primitive Europe remains when it comes to self-service laundry. In Japan EVERY hotel has a couple washers & driers.
Bartender also refused to provide ice. Said he had none. Sure.

Cons: The booked room wasn't a 4 star room (it was dirty, spots from old furniture remained on walls, old furniture, not plesant smell inside, selenar view on window, like a tranzit room near hotel stairs). We found the cleaning stuff and we could analyzed 3 similar standard room and all had better conditions (cleaner, more space, normal smell). We have discussed that problem with the stuff, we asked them to change the room to a similar one but, only after 2 days, we was ables to change the room (paying a difference charge) to a superior one (that was relativly ok - it could be categorized as 4 stars: cleaner, warmer, with city-view on window). The buffet breakfast could be more diversified regarding the category of hotel (4 stars).
