Cons: This is the first time a hotel charges me 4 times and blocked my account 4 times just for 1 night. Poor financial system and not helpful in reception when asked to release the money automatically. Instead i receiced the money back after 3 weeks.

Cons: The service at Reception was disappointing. Checked in at Reception (arrived at 12:30 and the room was Not ready, which is fine, as Check in is as of 15:00 and we had other thinngs to do) and gave the Credit Card. We returned at midnight and we were not checked into the room, had to give the Credit Card again and were not explained where the lifts are or where and when the breakfast would be-until we asked. Furthermore, the luggage was not delivered to the room, which had never happened to us before in a 4- Star Hotel. Having worked in 4-Star Hotels in London within Front Office Management for 10 years, I would have expected a better service from a Steigenberger Hotel in the Capital of Austria. The rest of the Hotel was nice.

Cons: I did not like the bathroom. It has not normal door. It has a sliding door and after the bath generally the water was everywhere on the floor.I think the breakfast was expensive so we dont prefer to take the breakfast.You can find more cheaper breakfast around the city.

Safes in the hallway (with CCTV monitoring) to store your valuables while you're out and about are great. Free & fast Wi-Fi is always lovely, too. I loved that it's less than 10 minutes' leisurely walk from a post office (for post cards!), Spar (supermarket) and two bus stops. Buy your transport pass via the WienMobil app, though – the nearest station (Pilgrimgasse) is closed until 2020 and the ticket machines at the other nearest station were out of order. Thank goodness for public Wi-Fi! Overall a very good experience; it's neat & tidy and I'd definitely stay there again.

Cons: Just a few minor things. The breakfast (normal bread rolls with butter and a selection of jam) could improve a bit; it would've been nice to have a small selection of cold meats & cheese added. Although the beds have fancy remotes to control the angle of the upper and lower sections, only the lower sections worked (on both sides). Wasn't a big deal, but if something is there, it should work. The TV is absolutely pointless if you don't understand German, since there's hardly anything in English (except news). These few things won't deter me from staying there again, though.

Cons: Location was a bit far from the city central. Normally there's a subway station right outside, but it was unfortunate out-of-service the whole time we were there.

Cons: There was horrible smell of air refresher or incense in the lobby and garage corridor. The aircondition in the room was noisy and insufficient. Just above one’s head while in the bed, there is light switch; this causes accidental turning on the lights with hand or pillow when sleeping. In the room, any information on room service or minibar pricelist was missing even though it was referred in some other info sheets. Absolute lack of ventilation in the bathroom. Instead of bathroom door, there was only sliding glass sheet with no sealing. All humid and smells spread in entire room in result. Shower unit was damaged, it was not possibile to fix it on the wall making the bath uncomfortable. There are no Polish TV channels available in the room. In the breakfast hall, only the chiefs and assistant at the counter were nice and professional. When having breakfast, we were bothered by the desk cleaners who made us lifting all food and plates from the table for their placing a new tablecloth. As for this class of the hotel, the breakfast choice was very poor. The breakfast room is in fact a kind of hall between garage entrance and reception; several people walk by in their coats, with suitcases. It did not make a good impression.

Cons: old fashioned room. You don't feel welcomed by the staff. The rooms are not air conditioned, there is only a small vertical fan that you have to keep running to keep cool overnight with the window open.
