Pros: What a beautiful building. They did a fantastic job in renovating. Breakfast on 31st Floor was the highlight of my stay. For a lounge, the selection was very extensive and of high quality. And the view, to die for! Kim, one of the nicest persons I have met, made sure to feel us welcome and was very proud of showing us all the great food. I was home away from home. As a world traveler, I can certify that this is one of the best urban hotels that I have been to.

Cons: Hotel security came up to talk to a woman two rooms down for us. When he left, she continued to yell and scream - besides what she was doing with security. Woke my parents up and kept us up for a good two more hours. Next time either security should wait until she calms down - or remove her from the room to calm down somewhere where we don’t have to hear all about it.

Pros: Exceptional hotel in a fun neighborhood. The staff are polite, patient, and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Bed linens towels, and room appointments are all first rate. Lots of attention to detail in providing glasses, cork screws, ample plugs and USB ports, etc. Breakfast buffet at Chez Colette offers an excellent selection. The presentation, quality of the food, and friendly service are all beyond reproach.
Cons: High price for parking is difficult to justify. The little rooms where the ice machines are located look shabby for a hotel of this caliber. Time for a fresh coat of paint and some updated fixtures.

Cons: I also bring cleaning supplies when we stay at hotels. I’ve seen far too many news segments about mediocre housekeeping staff. So glad I brought there items. I needed them! Dirty bathroom sink, dried urine/hair on the front of the toilet, thick layer of dust on the TV stand glass, the faucet fixtures(where they meet the sink) were covered with brown/gooey gunk, the hallway carpets were in desperate need of a good vacuuming. Oh and the the toilet flush button was crusty with brown debris and nastiness.

Cons: I paid for a room with a courtyard view and was given one with a view of the Street. The towels were very starchy and itchy to use. The shampoo was very low quality and caused both my husband and I to have dry and itchy scalp. The bedding had some sort of stains that they tried to hide by adding an extra sheet on top. The room was also very small and almost crammed. Overall, it seemed like the cost was only for the Hilton name and not for the quality. I’ve paid less for better service and quality in other large cities.

Cons: The parking was not included (shame on me for assuming it would be) and it was really expensive. We found a lot that was a few minutes walk from the hotel for a fraction of the cost of the hotel's parking service. The front desk staff and woman in charge of the valet services were fairly unpleasant. I don't need a lot of artificial niceness at hotels, but everyone seemed annoyed to have to deal with us when we checked in. The room service staff we interacted with seemed lovely and were so friendly, so that made up for the experience we had with the front desk staff.

Stay on another floor. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Could be improved. This way my 4th stay in the hotel. Surprising that on check-in I am not welcomed back as a return visitor.

Pros: It seemed that someone had actually thought about what people need, e.g., there was enough space in the bathroom for toiletries, there were night tables on both sides of the bed, there were drawers for clothes, shades had no gaps to let light in, things that seem common sense but are surprisingly often neglected. Cons: The barn door bathroom doors mainly because u can kind of peek inside from the outside the bathroom, and everyone outside can hear everything going on inside the bathroom which can be unpleasant at times. The TV HD quality wasn’t as good even for my girlfriends screen mirroring on her phone. Our fridge didn’t work and wouldn’t close all the way.

Pros: I have stayed at Club Quarters many times and when I worked at Penn I booked CQ rooms for our visitors. It is adequate, convenient, clean. The location is the best. It is not a luxury hotel but is priced as if it were. Some of the rooms have deteriorating walls, cracks, and loose tiles. The products are not top of the line, the linens are nice but not plentiful. This time my room wasn't cleaned until after 4 PM. This wasn't a problem but it was a surprise. Had I needed to work in my room it would have been inconvenient.

Pros: I have stayed at Club Quarters many times and when I worked at Penn I booked CQ rooms for our visitors. It is adequate, convenient, clean. The location is the best. It is not a luxury hotel but is priced as if it were. Some of the rooms have deteriorating walls, cracks, and loose tiles. The products are not top of the line, the linens are nice but not plentiful. This time my room wasn't cleaned until after 4 PM. This wasn't a problem but it was a surprise. Had I needed to work in my room it would have been inconvenient.

Cons: I ordered oatmeal and it was delivered with cinnamon and sugar in it. It was not advertised that way. When I asked for plain, I was told it would take 10 minutes. The cold cereal options were all sugary or chocolate. The hot water I requested was not hot enough for tea to steep. Dinner on Sunday night was another disappointment. The server was awkward. The red wines on the menu were not available. The soup was served barely warm.

Cons: Reserved a King room and was given a Queen (comped with free breakfast) on a floor that has not been renovated in many years. Carpet was worn, decor was outdated, bed was very springy and uncomfortable, bed pillows were big, over stuffed and hard. Made sleeping difficult and woke with a sore neck. Were only given 2 towels of each size so I had to wrap 2 hand towels around my head/hair so that my husband could have a bath towel after his shower. Towels were rough. Open wall outlet with wiring behind headboard. This was not up to Marriott standards that we have experienced in the past. Will not stay here again unless it is completely renovated.
