Very nice people running the Alexander. Room was small and, staying alone, I had a twin bed - but that was okay. I only stayed there for sleeping. Other than that, I was out on the town. The hotel was clean, comfortable, safe and easy to walk to. No parking on site, but they do have an agreement with a parking garage nearby. It's a reduced rate of $20, but if I were to take the car out and bring it back, it would be another $20. Instead, I took the rental back to the airport, rode the train back again to the city and walked wherever I went (Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Reading Station, The Basilica, NFL draft on the Art Museum steps). I took Lyft back to the airport to go home. That all worked better than paying another day for a rental car that I would be paying to park, instead of using.
