7.5 Good
Pros: Bed
Cons: No lift
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is about 5 minutes from Hiroshima station; perfect for dropping your bags and going siteseeing.
Cons: The lighting in the room is by sensor, so every moment in the ground the lights turn on for about 5 minutes. They should add lighting in each capsule instead and dim lighting at night for the common area. The air ventslation was poor, they should add a controlled air source in each bunk. Located next to street and can hear noises.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Quiet enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were fantastic, common space was very nice. Coffee bar downstairs.
Cons: Although very hygienic showers were a bit small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was super close to the train station, the cafe attached to the hostel is super cute and had such good tea coffee and cakes
Cons: The only issue we had with this hostel was there were no lifts to the bedrooms, we wouldnt normally have an issue with it, but this was at the end of out trip and we had been missioning it around Japan so much so my wheel broke on my suitcase and we had to carry it up 3 flights of stairs to get to our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff. Powerful showers. Nice breakfasts. Nice bar for a quick drink in the evening.
Cons: Needs a better / more secure luggage storage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything actually, the staff are so lively, friendly, and polite, the place is getting cleaned every day, cozy kitchen and bar on the ground floor, and the price for services and accommodation are totally reasonable, and I got an extra night with much cheaper price on a weekday
Cons: I didn't like the top punk it is relatively difficult and noisy when you go up and down, but the beds are all equally comforting
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is just perfect and the staff is super nice.
Cons: There nothing I didn't like

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My daughter and I loved staying here. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable. We felt right at home and even were welcome at an evening Bar BQ with their family and neighbors. We left feeling very blessed by the experience.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the common room.
Cons: Not much. Location was great, as expected from the description.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It us a traditional japanees house with garden.
Cons: The kichen can be cleaned. You can hear the people walking in the hall to the toilet and the kitchen. We could not use the living room because it was rent to other guests. The futons are very hard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed a couple of time in the 88 House, and both times I had a great and nice experience. The owner is great host and make you feel warm and welcome. The room was wide and the futons really confortable, many people might not like the location but for me it's fine.
Cons: I don't have anything to complain about, however, some people with lots of luggage or small children might find a little inconvenient the location of the house.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Double room is quite small, twin room was quite big. Kitchen has good cooking opportunities. Lovely lounge, only small place so you may even be on your own. Supermarket in walking distance.
Cons: A little way out so take into account the bus journey if you are not driving, but otherwise its a lovely place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a perfect getaway from the city. I wanted a quiet place where I could rest, and I couldn’t have dreamt for a better place. It’s also nice to head back to that peaceful place after the visit of the memorial. You sleep on a comfortable futon with the sounds of the river and birds. You can also enjoy the large living area and the veranda. The house is lovely and you feel immediately at home as Kengo is very welcoming. The bus ride from / to the station and the city center is very easy and goes by fast. Probably on of my favorite accommodations during my one month trip in Japan.
Cons: Nothing :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely and well spoken host: gave us good advices on what to do at Hiroshima. The place is comfortable and well decorated. Great equipements.
Cons: Everything was on point
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My schedule was tight, and I went to Hiroshima specifically to visit the Museum. After that, I headed to this place outside of the city to take some rest and relax . It's beautiful, well designed, calm, quiet, special, magical.. There is Absolutely a UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE Here ! It was only one night, and I regret that I haven't spent much more time .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host was so lovely and accommodating. I really enjoyed staying here the bus stop is only a short walk away and take you directing into town. I’m very happy with my choice to stay here and would very easily come back.
Cons: Only issue would be getting to and from the main station with a heavy suitcase.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host was great. The facilities are comfortable and clean.
Cons: A bit out of center.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location attached to the station
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The comfort of the hotel, and your staff is unbelievable. Willing to help, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
Cons: Not much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is convenient and perfect, located at the JR rail/Shinkansen station, with Hiroshima city streetcar station in front of rail station. Extremely clean, awesome beds, spa-like showers, great food, fun bar with Happy hour, easily-accessed smoking area outside the lobby, corner rooms with amazing views, English speaking staff, money-converting machine in lobby, A+ breakfast buffet, convenience stores located steps away in rail station and across the street.
Cons: All was basically perfect. Just know that the hotel is NOT "walking distance" to any tourist spots, but IS located steps from the rail and Shinkansen central station and a short walk to Hiroshima streetcar station which will take you all over the city for a few dollars. (¥160 or $1.60 to go direct to Atomic Dome and a museum). Restaurants are pricey but there are 7-Elevens in the rail station for late snacking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff and breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: good location good service! even it’s raining, we don’t get wet from the main station:) the room was clean and staff were kind.

Miyajima Seaside Hotel - Hiroshima - Building
4
8.9 Excellent (1,581 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Miyajima Seaside Hotel in Hatsukaichi, you'll be on the boardwalk, just steps from Suginoura Shrine and a 3-minute drive from Tsutsumigaura Nature Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff who will go the extra mile to insure you have a great stay. Breakfast in the dining roon but especially dinner served in your room are a great value for the quality of the meals provided. Shuttle service available to + from the ferry terminal + tourist sites is a big plus, allowing you to stay at a peaceful, beautiful location far from the tourist crowds. Almost free (200 yen] bike rentals available.
Cons: As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is a little worn around the edges but that is not a real negative. It makes the stay a much better value given the superb level of service and the quality of the meals. Consider it part of the charm of the place. You're staying in a lovely location at a better price than you would normally expect to pay.
7.9 Good
Pros: We had a beautiful room with Seaview, the staff was really nice and we enjoyed the onsen. We had dinner and breakfast (Japanese style) both good if you are ready to eat fish for breakfast :). The facilities are cleaned although old. The fact that we could leave our luggage and that the staff could bring it to us at the ferry station when we were done visiting was very appreciated.
Cons: The hotel style and facilities are quite old and our corridor really smelled like food. Although we enjoyed our stay and were happy to spend a night on the island, we think it’s a bit overpriced for what it is.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were very obliging and gave great service. We arrived on the island in the morning. We were able to ring the hotel, they picked up our luggage so that we could explore the island. Then they picked us up in the afternoon. The traditional meal was excellent and more than enough. We had a lovely view of the sea
Cons: Room was a little dated but it was ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful traditional hotel/ryokan. On a quiet bay away from the main Miyajima town, but only 5 minutes by their shuttle bus from the port. We had a very nice room with a view over the inland sea to Hiroshima. Dinner and breakfast included in the price, and both are fantastic (you'd pay Y5000+ for a dinner like this). They also made a fantastic vegetarian for my wife (mine was lots of lovely seafood). Really enjoyed it, highly recommended.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, great staff. Amazing experience with onsen and private, exlusively Japanese dinner that was anazing. They picked our loggages while arrived to the harbor in order to let us sightsee freely. Continous shuttle bus.
Cons: Nothing particular to complain about.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are the greatest asset, friendly, kind and helpful. The food was delicious and creativey presented. The location is nice and quiet, and the hotel feels a little old fashioned and sleepy which I liked. Lovely view from the room over the bay.
Cons: I did think the hotel needed a bar so you could have a drink sometimes and just hang out with other guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Great hospitality and they really went out of their way to help you. Pick up and drop off to the ferry station. Also they will hold your bags and drop them at the station later in the day if you are exploring the island. The breakfast and dinner were great. Some dishes, such as the salad didn't really compliment the traditional Japanese meals, but the staff were very accommodating with several dietary requirements. It was helpful to have both hot and cold drinking water in the room. I also enjoyed visiting the on site onsen and souvenir shop downstairs.
Cons: Hotel is a bit dated, and we weren't able to have dinner as early as we hoped which meant our toddler was overtired and disruptive during dinner. It is also quite bright in the room at night as the windows are only covered with thin paper. This looks really pretty but could be an issue if you need to sleep in a pitch black room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the atmosphere, the traditional food was excellent and staff very friendly and obliging.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a spacious room facing the sea which was lovely. We enjoyed the delicious Kaiseki dinner in our room and the excellent breakfast in the dining room. The staff were attentive and all waved us off as we left on the shuttle bus. A special experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Extremely kind and attentive staff. Large traditional room. Awesome Japanese experience, including dinner). Free shuttle bus to Miyajima town. Nice onsen.
Cons: Bathroom was too small, both toilet room and shower room. Hotel needs some modernisation works (the breakfast room is really dated). Sometimes you could smell stale air in the corridors and the room.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Backpackers Hostel K's House Hiroshima in Hiroshima (Hiroshima City Centre), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Shukkeien and Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location (10 min walk from Hiroshima Station)! Facilities were clean and well kept. There's a nice common area where you can relax and a kitchen where you can cook (a bit small but it does the job!).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff speaking a perfect english (which is something that you can't find everywhere in Japan). The common space is cozy and colorful, very clean, probably also because it's required to kick off the shoes in all the structure (the slippers are provided). The room too was very quiet and clean, small, but with enough space to put your things. Bed very comfortable too. Toilet and shower are in separate spaces and are both clean too. It's possible to rent towels (for a small price) or ask for toothbrush, toothpaste, plug adapters and other things at the reception. I recommend it!
Cons: The sinks are in the corridor, very small. They are also too close to the door of the rooms, so if someone decides to dry his/her hair late in the evening or early in the morning (as happened while I was there), you won't be able to sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Not as spacious as Kyoto K's House, but everything was super clean and tidy too. Good location, close to the shinkansen station and at a 15 minutes bike ride from the Peace Memorial Museum. Morning staff was very friendly!
Cons: The night staff wasn't as friendly as everyone else. They were not rude, but definitely less friendly than the morning staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, staying in a room with very smelly person. I told them about it and they said they'd take care of it that day. They moved her to a separate room so myself and 2 other roommates didnt have to suffer. It was very professional. Appreciate it a lot. For the small price of hostels sometimes you dont know what to expect. Very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, very clean, friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to Hiroshima station, around 700 metre walk which was handy when arriving and doing a day trip to Miyajima. There is a tram stop at the end of the street to head into town (Hondori, Bomb dome etc). We walked it anyway, was a 10-15 min walk. We got a double room with private bathroom, was basic but did the job.
Cons: It was our only hostel stay for our 2 week trip and was expecting a bit more fun/atmosphere. It was pretty quiet.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staffs, the location, everything...
Cons: Smell of the bad odor of feet from the entrance/ lobby all the way to the room.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent. Except for a few stray hairs in the shower it was very clean. The beds are not that comfortable, but for $33 a night it was perfect. It is a no frills hostel, but we were very happy with our stay. They had a nice kitchen, books and games, laundry, and a cute roof. They even had bikes to rent.
Cons: Better mattresses would be the only thing that could improve.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Smoking on rooftop
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I'd recommend anyone and everyone to stay at K's Hostel in any of the cities they're in. It was the right price, for the right amenities. The room was clean, the showers were clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. The communal area was nice and open, plenty of games and activities to keep you entertained. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the laundry machines looked to be in great shape as well.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Strategically located, with the closest tramway stop (Matobacho) 3 stops from the station and a crossroads of tramways lines that go to the now downtown area, the A-dome and the memorial parc as well as to the port. Very clean and convient place. Cool and helpfull ostaff.
Cons: Some early noise these days because of works in nearby building.

Cons: This is more a business hôtel. I do not recommend it for tourism.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The spa open at night. Very comfortable room
Cons: The only thing I can complain about is missing at least one USB charging point, I had to go to a kombini to buy a japanese adaptor to recharge my phone.

Cons: The breakfast was a mad. Got there early and it still took 30 minuets to get though the buffet line.

Cons: Nothing

7.0 Good

Cons: Very LOUD at night.

Cons: nothing to dislike

8.0 Excellent
Pros: -good location, easy to get to from the train station via tram, walking distance to Peace memorial, accessible to many restaurants/stores -traditional Japanese room was a good size and very quiet ad peaceful -the shared facilities (kitchen, bathrooms, toilets) were well-maintained and clean -staff was very kind and helpful

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, only 7 minutes walk from memorial park and downtown. Really nice and helpfull staff.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location! A good walk to the dome, museum, and along the river. Good staff and it was nice and clean.
Cons: Our room had a slight smell to it ( similar to dirty shoes ) but not too bad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: cleanness, kitchen, spacious bed

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was good. The staff was friendly. The livingroom and kitchen were nice and it was a great place to meet new people
7.5 Good
Pros: All good, can't complain.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and confortable
Cons: Noisy guests
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very clean. The location of the hostel is very convenient.
Cons: I wish the bed mattress was a bit thicker but for me it was alright.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super welcoming and friendly, the futons were so comfortable and cosy, and we loved the well equipped kitchen with coffee and tea etc. Great location, you can get the Maple loop bus for free from/to Hiroshima station to the peace memorial (only a few minutes walk from the hostel) if you have a JR pass. Thank you so much!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, a 5 min walk to the area with the peace memorial, and 15 min walk to the central area (bars, restaurants, stores, etc).
Cons: The mattress could be better. Because it was probably an old building, most of the doors were short, tall people must be aware all the time. I hit my head several times (specially when you are not fully awake, or fully sober).
Kinsuikan - Hiroshima - Building
8
8.8 Excellent (833 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Miyajima Kinsuikan in Hatsukaichi, you'll be in the historical district, within a 10-minute walk of Itsukushima Shrine and Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely typical Japanese Ryokan where you can experience wearing typical dress and taste local delicacies. Excellent location and great professional staff who cannot do enough to make your stay memorable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location on the water was perfect. Easy walk from/to the ferry. We had two luxury triple rooms (with private bathrooms) next to each other. Both had nice sitting areas (including a massage chair) with views of the water and the floating torii gate. Dinner served in the room was wonderful, and breakfast (served in the dining hall) was good, too. The futon was incredibly comfortable and there was a selection of pillows so you could choose what you liked. We spent 15 days in Japan and I had my best night's sleep here. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We only only spent one night on Miyajima but we all felt we would have liked another day to see and do more. Another night at Kinsuikan would have been heaven.
Cons: The downside to the Japanese style rooms is that there's no place to lie down if you need to. Since we had just arrived in Japan the night before (from the US), we were still quite jet-lagged and after dinner all I wanted to do was go to bed but our futons hadn't been set up yet. If I had it to do over again I would still book a Japanese style room, but I might ask them to set up the futons sooner.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was nice, service was good, but not exceptional by Japanese standards.
Cons: Pricey for what it offers. I think they charge for 2 people so it was pricey because they do not give you more, just charges for 2

Pros: Great location at the train station and great views. Many restaurants in the hotel and around and a higher floor restaurant. Larger than typical room and very comfortable linens and details.
Cons: The maple loop tourist bus winter hours aren't very long. The restaurant and hotel is expensive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good being above Hiroshima train station and adjacent to shopping mall.
Cons: We stayed on the 20th floor. Noise from chair movement in the restaurant above our room on the 21st floor was bothersome. Some elements of the Japanese toilet did not function correctly.
7.9 Good
Pros: Close to railway station and shops
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great that hot was so close to train station and heaps of restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, literally at the JR station when you arrive (come out the station and turn left and you are right there, literally 30 seconds walk). Good bar for views up on the 21st floor. Use your JR pass for the free bus route around the main tourist attractions, again right outside the hotel. Don’t need too long in Hiroshima to see the sites, but interesting place to visit for sure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: perfect location. new and clean. lovely staff
Cons: exepensive breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the train station which made it super convenient. A bit of a walk to the Hatchibori. Service and staff here were amazing. We were early for our check in and not only did they hold our luggage, they were in our room before we came back. Bonus points for not making us show our passports again upon coming back to check in. As soon as you swipe your key card, your floor is automatically selected. Super convenient and good for security.
Cons: Rooms were a little dusty.

6.7 Good
Pros: Location was good with plenty of ships and 20 minute stroll to A bomb site
Cons: Nothing really, no real intraction with staff as reception is in the 4th floor, so bypasses all the time. Room was cramped
9.2 Excellent
Pros: - super friendly staff - close to a red tourist loop bus station - tasteful interior - lots of interesting magazines about Hiroshima and the surrounding
Cons: - Huge variety at breakfast. More Japanese than western food, hardly any food for vegetarians/ not well indicated. - Far away from a JR station (but with a JR-Pass you can take the mentioned tourist loop bus for free ;-) )
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Staff were friendly and location was great for the Peace park, shopping and other major attractions. The shower was really good. The breakfast was really good with lots of local and western choices
Cons: The pillow were really uncomfortable and room and bed were small even by Japanese standards.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was pretty close to the side so I could walk from there around 15 minutes to all the sites I needed
Cons: I’m not a smoker but I took a smoking room because the gardener other rooms available. I didn’t realize that the room will be stinking cigarettes terribly. There was no opportunity to exchange for another room and I was sleeping with the open window but it was smelling like hell anyway. Be careful and don’t repeat my mistake!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: no hastle in checking-in and checking out. this is my second stay.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location with easy access to facilities and services. Room good with a bath being a bonus
Cons: Communication with front desk staff difficult - caters for the Asian traveler and not the broader European/American/Australian visitor
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: It was a bit difficult to work in room with Yellow lights. It is easier with white lights.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent - right in the middle of the commercial and shopping district.
Cons: Rooms were a bit compact with very little space to arrange luggage.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Super clean hotel that appears like it caters to business travelers. The room, for Japan, was quite roomy and accommodating. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast. The location was convenient to the JR bus lines so you can travel the city at no cost, if you have the the JR RailPass. Fantastic shopping is also a few blocks away.
Cons: The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast so if this is your thing, this is perfect. If you haven’t quite evolved your tastebuds then you may leave a little hungry.

Pros: Heaven on earth!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location! I liked the free pajamas, towels and toiletries which were changed every day. I was grateful for the tumble drier after getting soaked in the rain and I was grateful for being able to extend my reservation when the typhoon meant my flight was cancelled. The capsule had plenty of space and a lockable wardrobe. Plenty of tourist leaflets and maps available at the hotel.
Cons: The mattress in the capsule was a bit thin for me. A small grumble would be that there were sometimes male staff pushing trolleys around on the women’s floor after 11pm. Personally, I’d prefer not to have any staff pushing trolleys around at night when people are sleeping.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location between station, peace park and restaurant district, and a great Japanese experience- $35 per head per night with all the facilities you would need.
Cons: NA
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great private area with superior capsule room and cleanliness.
Cons: Beds could’ve been more comfortable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, convenient and very comfortable for a capsule.
Cons: Rooms quite hot, and the fan was not enough to cool it down. There was a cooler in the corridor but not enough to keep rooms cool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean facilities (which is a must for me personally), great location. Capsules are not even that small compared to some other similar hotels, especially ones you might find in Tokyo. But you have to really understand what you are booking: capsule hotel is not really a hotel as such, it's more like a dorm. Always keep that in mind.
Cons: Nothing really, but if I have to - key management system, perhaps? You are getting 3 separate keys for different things, which is not really convenient and/or modern.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and perfect for a short stay. Tram station right in front of the hotel. 5min walk to Hondori.
7.5 Good
Pros: The selection of shampoo and bodywssh
Cons: The pillow
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a good location and has great facilities for such type of hotel.
Cons: Noise. The rules of a hotel dedicate a lot of attention to shoes, but do not even mention silence in the sleeping area. So expect that there will be loud (I mean, really loud) discussions in the middle of the night in the neighboring capsules. Moreover, forget getting up late, since the cleaning starts in the early morning (at 7.00 or so).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy to reach from the station and near the main spots of interest in town. (From the station you can ride the bus to the hotel -and others - for free if you have the JR pass. Check with the tourist info office when you arrive). It is a great location also if you want to be near the nightlife. Very nice and capsule hotel!

Cons: Part of the staff was not very friendly and seemed to be very keen in explaining all the rules, rooms are a bit small, onsen is very busy/too small for the size of the hotel.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view
Cons: Extra price for gym. Green swimming pool.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with amazing views both day and night and reasonably priced too - the restauarants were expensive however -although the noodle bar in the parade of shops nearby was very good.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was great to have high speed jet to Miyajima from hotel. It was 30 mins from hotel. Hotel is about 30 mins from Hiroshima station. Rooms were spacious and clean. Found a great BBQ place called La Goon walking distance from hotel. Rooftop had lovely views.
Cons: Hotel was a bit dated, restaurant is expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great views, good happy hour, great food.
Cons: Only 1 pillow
7.0 Good
Pros: We picked this hotel for the location by the seaside. It was good for that plus has a speedboat service over to Miyajima, which though quite expensive, it very handy. There is also a bus stop there, so you can get into the city within about 25-30 minutes and get to and from the train station quite easily. Rooms are spacious. We had dinner one evening in their Japanese restaurant, as we were too tired to head into the city - it was excellent.
Cons: Breakfast was ok - we quite like Japanese breakfasts but this one could have done better. They have a free shuttle bus to and from the train, but it could do with being more frequent.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort, staff and value
Cons: Location. Around $23 for a taxi. Didn't find out about the free hotel shuttle or bus $2.40 until after
8.8 Excellent
Pros: They have every amenity at the hotel so people wouldnt have to go out. The best viewd from the rooms. Massive beds and spacious rooms.
Cons: Its located on the other side of Miyajima island so people who like to enjoy expensive ferry ride should stay here. We ended up taking free JR train and ferry from the other side the next day. There arent many place to eat nearby. You would have to eat at the hotel. Reception line was very long. Wish they would get automatic checkin system.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable hotel.
Cons: Location...just not in any walking distance...had to take a taxi, public bus or shuttle bus to get to anywhere, including restaurants (other than the hotel restaurants which were very expensive).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is a bit of of the way, there a few places to eat within walking distance and the nearest convenience store (apart from the one inside the hotel) is 20min walk. The views are to die for, especially on the level where they serve breakfast. Buffet breakfast was average. The staff were absolutely amazing, every person we encountered were always polite and extremely helpful! The room size was comfortable for 2 of us with all our luggage. Enjoyed our stay here!
Cons: The location was a bit far from everything.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Close to the water and ferry to miyajima
Cons: Far from the train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Due to the location the shuttle bus was a must. On occasions when it was full hotel paid taxi fair

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The guys working there are super nice, very friendly and helpful. They organized a BBQ Party at one of the nights of our stay, it was awesome to eat at the rooftop while playing cards with everyone. The shower rooms (single shower cabins) are very clean. Soap and shampoo available. Also the rooms are very clean and the bed was comfi. You can drink coffee all day, very nice coffee! There is a kitchen so you can cook your own stuff. The kitchen is also very clean and nice.
Cons: You have to pay extra for towlels so bring your own. There could be more things at the walls to hang up your clothes while showering.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A generally good setup in a good place at good value.
Cons: Small stuff. Absolutely hated the pillows, can't really put it in words... large, lumpy, sinisterly uncomfortable. Library didn't have anything in the way of english book. I left my copy of The Martian there hope it helps :)
7.5 Good
Pros: The atmosphere was good and you could meet other travellers in the common room.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: - Cool and friendly personel - Had a BBQ party at highest floor - Many showers
Cons: - plastic pillow - no towels
4.6 Okay
Pros: Very very close to peace memorial, bomb dome, children’s memorial
Cons: Pretty expensive for such a basic stay. We stayed in a private room and it is quite a big space but only has a bed and small desk inside - not even a lamp. The beds were so hard it would have been comfier to sleep on the ground. When we were trying to leave our bags upon early arrival there was no one at the desk. Turned out the guy working the front desk was just sitting in the common room at the dining table with his friends Something else that was a bit annoying- we hung our wet clothes in the only place available to dry - the balcony and it is a designated smoking area so all our clothes ended up smelling like an ashtray. Obviously this is our own fault but a design flaw by them putting these two things in the same space (there are also dryers available)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cery neat and tidy. Staff was super friendly and spoke proper English. Location was great.
Cons: All was great

Pros: This hotel was beautiful and conveniently located. Very old school.
Cons: The price for the pool was not worth it, even with the discount.
6.7 Good
Pros: Large room, decent location, great view over the city including Hiroshima Castle. Reasonably close (a few minutes walk) to the ubiquitous trams that connect the city
Cons: About £150 for one night in a twin room, which is pricey. In a reasonable location, but lacks atmosphere - the vast lobby was completely empty when we checked in. They have also chosen a light coloured carpet for the rooms - there's no way for that to look clean in a hotel...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location, location, and hotel amenities. great customer service and travel information.
Cons: too few electrical outlets that are needed now days for charging devices.
10.0 Excellent

The atomic dome and the peace park are just 8 minutes walk from the hotel. There are 100s of places to eat and drink all within 10 minutes walk. I recommend ichiran for a great ramen. The room was absolutely huge and very well appointed. The bathroom was bigger than some of the other rooms we had stayed at in Japan. The price was also extremely good value. Finally, the staff were exceptional. Polite, professional and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is excellent. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel with good access to Hiroshima train station.
Cons: The room has hardly any space to put our luggage/move around. Luckily we were there for only 2 nights where we did not even bother to ask for any housekeeping.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff members are really kind.
Cons: It seems pricey a little bit.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location and this is what you are paying for. The staff were excellent and although we communicated in Japanese, we noticed that their English skills were very good. The breakfast offered plenty of choice and the quality of the food was excellent.Near to the hotel, are many restaurants and shopping facilities. The Peace Park is a short walk away, and from there you can easily visit the other sightseeing spots.
Cons: Like many hotels in Japan, the room was tiny, and there was no place to store luggage. Of all the places we stayed in Japan, this was the most expensive, and compared to the others, we feel it did not give as much value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location next to Peace Museum and Peace Park. The staff helped me with all my problems and questions. Would totally stay here again if I ever come back to Hiroshima
Cons: The room was small, but not unexpected, and was enough for me.

Pros: If you are staying in Hiroshima as a foreign tourist. Stay here, it is a great hotel. Location is perfect, from station simply get streetcar 1 for 10-15 mins and then a 3 minute walk and you are there. Rooms and bathroom are decent size for Japan, may be snug if sharing but i was solo. Staff are great. Food is amazing, really took me by surprise how good it is. Breakfast is a wide selection of Western and Japanese Breakfast and everything else in between.
Cons: Literally nothing!
