Friendly, helpful staff!
Needs attention to detail... doesn't seem to be up to date. And too expensive.
Big room, very comfortable bed, brand new right through the room. Having a gym and pool available was also an advantage.
A little expensive given breakfast was not included in the price however we were there over a weekend and the room was very high quality.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. I had breakfast on the last day there, and they provided a nice variety for the continental breakfast. The lobby is a nice place to meet friends and the staff were nice.
I requested a handicap room. I could not get my walker into the bathroom area as it was too narrow and a mini fridge was in the way. The hotel did send up 2 men to move the mini fridge, but then it was partially blocking the door into the room, which made it difficult for me to get in and out. The closet door was difficult to open as it was broken at the top. I had to leave it open the entire 7 nights. The crew that moved the mini fridge did not fix it as requested. The sink in the bathroom did not drain well. I requested housekeeping to get some Drano to pour down the sink to make the water run faster. That was never fixed. The heating system made a loud noise every time it went off. Very annoying when trying to sleep. The room was immediately next to the elevators, so that was noisy too, and when people were waiting for the elevators, even later in the evening, they were talking loudly, which was disturbing. If I ever visit again, I would request a different room. There is no handicap door at the main entrance, which made it difficult for me to enter and exit the hotel to go out onto Broad Street.
The location and service are the best.
Our room that was initially assigned was below our expectations. The room heater was very loud and the bathroom sink had a crack all the way across it. The bathroom door did not latch. New room after we called.
We stayed in the Executive King Suite. When we arrived check-in was real fast, they even gave us warm chocolate cookies at check-in. we had access to the Executive Lounge and breakfast was pretty good. Breakfast meats, eggs, bagels, toast, muffins, danishes, cakes, fresh fruit and juices, cereal, yogurts, coffee etc. The pool was good and quiet when we went, walking distance to EVERYTHING. The room was spacious for the two of us overlooking the city. The staff is superb and helpful. The bed was amazing, comfortable and a very clean room!
