Cons: A lovely hotel spoilt by charging guests to park there. And they have increased the parking charge since the time when I made my booking!

Pros: Good location for visiting the Kassam football station and not too far from the city centre; also ample parking; reception staff were very helpful.

Cons: We used the bar but they had no draft lager because they had no gas?? I thought this would be resolved quickly but it remained like this all night. In addition, the bar closed at 10.50pm on a Saturday night which we thought was very early when there were residents in the bar area.

Pros: The room was spotlessly clean, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom well-appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was very cheap for the city centre of Oxford.

Cons: The room was a little bit on the small side, and somewhat overheated. The building is also something of a maze and while lugging my case up and down numerous flights of stairs was only a mild inconvenience, it might be hard to navigate for the slightly less mobile traveller.

Pros: Location excellent. We did not have the breakfast. Room large and warm. Room was clean.

Cons: The room was at the top of the accommodation so had dormer windows. It was a little awkward to manouvre around the beds and sloping roof. Unfortunately the bathrrom was a little dated/tired and there were a couple of problems which we reported at the end of the stay. The TV/remote was a bit flaky Despite these problems, overall I would use this accommodation again

Pros: The arrangement of the furniture in the room was awkward and there was no bedside lamp or table near to the second bed. It could only be reached by getting out of bed. otherwise fine.

Pros: Breakfast was great! In the room there was a radiator you could switch on as you liked, and a window you could open when necessary - a rare example of a hotel room you could keep at just the right temperature.

Cons: The lavatory seat would not stay up! How on earth could anyone design it like that??

Pros: Our flight got in early and they had a room ready for us. It was a long flight so it was nice we didn't have to wait.

Cons: Lack of food to eat later at night.

Cons: We were all disturbed in the night by a very loud group of late to bed and early up business travellers. They did not seem at all conscious of the fact that people may want to sleep between 2 and 4 am! When we explained this to the from desk manager the next morning he did not seem particularly interested and told us he was sorry and they had left! His customer service skills were fairly lacking.

Pros: Check in was easy and staff were great. Room was very nicely appointed and very clean

Cons: Bathroom was very snug although of a very high quality Heated floor and large shower was nice. Noice suppression between floor above wasn’t great, foot steps easily heard These are very minor issues which did not spoil our very good experience

Pros: The hotel is ideally situated for the centre of Oxford. The staff were helpful and professional and the food was good. The room was comfortable and well equipped.

Pros: Breakfast was exorbitant so I decided not to take it. Location was very good and walking distance for all my needs. Receptionist, the only one, was very pleasant, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious enough and well provided with ironing board, iron, hairdryer, TV and kettle.

Cons: I was appalled at the dirty grout on the tiling in the shower and the chalk build-up on the shower head. The TV remote control was equally filthy and I used an antiseptic wipe to clean it, and as a precaution also cleaned the telephone, the air conditioning control, the hairdryer handle and the kettle, as it occurred to me that if the 1st few items listed above were so dirty, these last 3 items may be equally unclean. Provision of a disposable wooden stirring stick was unbecoming of such an hotel and a washable teaspoon would have been welcome.

Pros: Breakfast was too dry on first day but cooked well on the second day. Staff were attentive and gave me complimentary drink as it was my birthday

Pros: In the heart of Oxford, hard to imagine a better location. Randolph is a veritable name and its restaurants are also legendary (if expensive). It was a really attractive and comfortable room, decent size with perhaps the sparkliest bathroom I have ever seen in my life. It was something to marvel out on its own. Breakfast in the morning was also good, although you have to order some dishes rather than have them laid out. We had a major problem with a bathroom ceiling leak but were were moved to a better room promptly to make up for it, so no complaints.

Cons: Nothing specific. See my comments above. Anyone with access issues might find the historic staircases a little much, but I loved it.

Pros: excellent location in central Oxford, minutes away from historic colleges, the central market, and the bus station.

Cons: Rooms were small, extremely overheated and poorly ventilated. Old carpeting triggered allergies. Breakfast not included in the room price and very expensive ($30 for a continental buffet).

Pros: Hotel was dowdy. Old. Cramped. Room poor, bathroom facilities did not work properly. (Room 143) Service terrible. Porters and valet parking good. Dining terrible, long wait and terrible food (inedible). Lots of staff doing nothing. 75 minutes before first course came. Steaks inedible. Risotto was not a risotto. And so it goes on. Breakfast as bad. Too many customers, long queues and poor service. Had to ask 6 times for my food after 35 minutes.

Cons: Porters, concierge and valet parking good. Valet parking essential but you have to pay £40. Hotel just changed hands from Macdonald's to an American chain (Graduate). May be this has something to do with a sub-standard service.

Pros: The room and bed were excellent, and the whole hotel had a grand atmosphere.

Cons: Breakfast was disappointing, the bacon was nice but there was no toaster or marmalade

Cons: I was given a room at the top of the hotel without any heating. When I raised the matter at reception, the receptionist phoned maintenance who confirmed that they were aware of the problem. This being the case, i should never have been given a defective room in the first place. The alternative room provided was noisy and cramped .

Pros: As I hope it was a lovely hotel to stay and a great location very comfortable. A very enjoyable stay. We will definitely stay again.

Cons: The staff were lovely but quite a few were new and quite a few mistakes were made. At dinner and in the bar. Wrong food at dinner incorrect drinks.

Pros: for the price i paid nearly £300 pounds for 1 night .you do not get a full 24 hours in the hotel i,e book in late in the afternoon and leave by 11 the next morning .

Cons: the hotel is old and does need redecoration also for the randolph to be the prestidge hotel in oxford .you cannot get any room service after 10-30 at night .i had treated my wife to an early christmas present .a stay at the randolph overnight for nearly £300 per night .and a show at one of the theaters in oxford we got back to the hotel and was hungry so we got in touch with room service .after constant ringing we got in touch with someone who told us abruptly THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE AFTER 10-30 .so i rang the front desk after what seemed ages someone answered and explained i cant find our night chef .but they would try and sort something out around eleven thirty i received a call stating we do not do room service after 10-30 because we had a fire here a few years ago .so i said what you cant even serve cold buffet i,e sandwiches i was told i will see what i can do .i then left the hotel to seek something to eat at a local burgher van after getting some food i returned to my hotel and my wife with hot food .after being back at my room for 10 mins .i then had a knock on my door well after midnight and was handed to plates on a tray with ham sandwiches and a handful of crisps .for a hotel which claims to be a four star hotel i felt it was very very poor service .i dont think i got value of service although i did tip the desk and door staff on leaving .p.s. i worked for the intercontinental hotel at hyde park corner in london for years .and in all my time there i have never ever heard of no room service at night .even on a cruise ship you can phone up mid atlantic and get some food .i was very dissapointed with the randolph considering it was an exmas treat for my wife

Pros: It is in an excellent location for visiting my daughter who is studying at Worcestor college.

Cons: We were in a room with heavy scaffolding blocking the entire two windows. Men were talking, yelling & working/pounding in front of the two windows every morning. They totally ignored us who needed sleeping in the room. There were no privacy nor courtesy. We were not informed or asked if it's Ok for the reception to assign such a downgraded room (the windows were blocked by scaffolding entirely)to us at check in either. The service and facilities were at most a one star hotel this time. I stayed in this hotel for about 5 times in the last two years because we were visiting our daughter who was studying at Worcestor college(one block away). They've been always about a three stars hotel standard. But this time was the worst. We will not use this hotel any more. It's totally not worth the price & the poor facility.

Pros: Clean bedsheets and towels

Cons: Very small rooms for the price; You can't reach the reception directly; you basically have to go through hoops and being on hold before someone picks up; the staff are not quick in responding to issues or concerns. Wifi was really quite poor--it bounced off every five minutes.
