Pros: Fabulous host, clean as a whistle, brilliant breakfast, as previous reviews have said.
Cons: Rooms are small, but everything spotless and just right.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Clean, comfortable and Ashley (the manager) is super lovely and makes you feel super welcome Breakfast is superb
Cons: The location is a bit out of hand but if you are into walking it will take you around 40 min to reach Oxford City centre walking and around 10 min by bus It is in front of the Wolvercote Cemetery (the one that holds JRR Tolkien tomb)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely host, nicely furnished room with thoughtful additions such as fridge, sweets, hairdryer were above and beyond expectations. Likewise breakfast very good. Ample parking and bus stop right outside with buses into city centre every few minutes made this a good location.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, but amp!e with good shower. Being in a city there is a little traffic noise when window open, but not enough to be an issue.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was excellent with many options. The location is right off of a bus route which was very convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the bed was not very comfortable.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cute, quaint farm stay with all the trimmings.
Cons: Didn't stay long enough.
Good 7.9
Pros: The cottage was beautiful and the rooms well equipped. Very good value for money and a very comfy nights sleep.
Cons: It was hard to access without a car and the rooms could do with a lick of paint.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A cottage in the countryside, but close enough to the centre of Oxford. The main house was absolutely beautiful. The decor was lovely. So clean. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. Our room had a Tudor/Jacobean four poster bed! It was stunning. The wardrobe was of a similar age. The other pieces of furniture in the room, were in keeping with the whole look. Two large beautiful armchairs completed the room. Water, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate were available in the room. And a full sized kettle! The bathroom was immaculate. The toiletries were lovely and plenty of them. We can each had 3 towels. Hand, bath towel and bath sheet! Fantastic! The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice, nice warm croissants. It was a fantastic stay. We want to go back to Oxford in the summer, and we will definitely be booking Hill Farm again.
Cons: There was nothing to not like.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice and comfortable room nice ordered taxi for me that arrived on time
Cons: Room a bit warm and stairs a bit tight with a case.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location was nice and room was clean. Good for one nights stays.
Cons: Small bedroom, breakfast was scarce and we felt like we are disturbing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The friendliness and the accommodation.
Cons: Just a little bit difficult to find in the dark.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful building, the hotel is cosy and welcoming. The owners are great, so helpful and friendly! The breakfast is very nice, all table settings so cute in details, all choices were delicious! Heating works great too, for chilly nights in Oxford. We had complimentary tea in the room which is great after a day’s walk in december.
Cons: Would love to have a minibar in the room. The hotel is little beat far from the center, but we knew that already when we booked. You have restaurants and shopping area nearby, 5 min walk.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly staff. Location worked really well for a Blenheim Palace break. Room clean. Manager went out of his way to recommend local amenities. Parking easy. Breakfast delicious with fresh coffee and homemade bread.
Cons: Not much to not like ...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, comfortable room, fantastic service, delicious breakfast and really friendly staff - highly recommend. I even got to charge my car overnight for no extra cost
Good 6.0
Pros: Access to the city centre by bus was excellent - frequent, quick and the bus stop was nearby. The decor was suitably Burlington stripe. All was clean and well appointed. The staff member we met was polite and helpful.
Cons: The room was on the small side, especially the bathroom. The double bed was also small, so that I rolled out at one point and was aware of feeling restricted in movement after that. Acceptable if it had been cheaper. Expected more for the price.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The welcome was excellent
Cons: The bed was awful. Pillows stank of previous gentlemen visitors.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All was good, lovely house and lovely staff

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Lady on reception was very helpful, a lovely young lady !! Hotel was good. good location will go there again
Cons: Need more parking spaces
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff. The room was decent sized and spotless with all amenities including shower and bath. The breakfast choice included cooked as well as cereals. Off street parking is a bonus.
Cons: Nothing. It worked for us.
Good 7.4
Cons: The breakfast would of be better if it was not a buffet
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast was great and staff very friendly
Cons: The smell in the room was very strong
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean
Cons: No fridge inside the rooms
Excellent 8.3
Pros: We like the location. The rooms are generally of a good standard.
Cons: Our room was in the attic which was fine but the water pressure for the shower was poor. Also we had problems with the door lock, we had the keycard replaced twice before it would work. The main concern is that the breakfast finishes at 9am which is not a problem, however the complete hot and cold buffet was removed immediately at 9am which seems ridiculous for people turning up a few minutes before 9am. We also disliked the sausage. We have been to this hotel on several occasions but now I am not certain if we will return.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean and fresh Well-placed for bus ride into the city Excellent breakfast
Cons: Would probably ask for a room that faces the back of the hotel as main road a little noisy
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good size room
Cons: No lounge/bar for coffee/drinks
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very friendly staff , clean and comfortable room with lovely big bathroom. Free car parking and a lovely Breakfast in the morning.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Well located guesthouse on the Banbury Road. JRR Tolkien lived close-by and the area is endowed with mature trees, pleasant avenues and proximity to University parks. The owners have made every effort to source good ingredients.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: All very comfortable, even thought the radiator in the room wasn't on - until we discovered how to turn it on in the chill of the morning! Conveniently on the bus route into the city. We were given a voucher to allow us to park free in the road on our departure day - very useful.
Cons: Nothing - apart from the radiator issue! And perhaps the price which has crept up to over £100.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was ideal for accessing the centre of Oxford and local restaurants in the evening. On site parking was very useful. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Twin room was under the eaves and a bit small. Bathroom rather small and awkward. Shower water too hot for guests with eczema and the mechanism difficult for dexterity issues caused by arthritis.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean, good sized rooms. Friendly staff with luggage storage
Cons: It was abit further out city centre. Public transport was delayed by 30mins so we walked, not hotels fault but just be aware it is a bus ride out from train station
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely location and lovely hosts. Couldn’t be more accommodating. Breakfast excellent. Just the job.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A perfect stay with warm welcome! Highly to recommend! The bath room in the superior room has lots of space and is modern. The bedroom is very nice designed and spreads a very cosy atmosphere. The personal is very friendly and seems to appreciate to have you as guests and does everything to make feel comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer! Merry Christmas!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Great location and on major bus routes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Large fluffy bath towels.
Cons: Small shower.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Well priced, well situated, clean, well appointed and an excellent Breakfast.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The breakfast was lovely: I like fruit and granola while my husband likes a full English - we were both happy with what the Galaxie had on offer. The bed was comfy and the room was extremely clean. The staff were extremely friendly. There were a range of grocery stores and diners on the high street - and many were open when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. We ate at Joe's Grill and Diner which was pretty nice.
Cons: The shower was a little temperamental, I would have liked it warmer and more vigorous (but it got me clean, and that's the point really!)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean, comfortable and ideal for a 1-2 night stay. Staff all very nice.
Cons: Not much, breakfast was just OK and a not quite as good as described on the hotel description
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very clean and stylish and the staff was was nice indeed
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Its a pleasant 30minute walk into town from here. Much quieter than staying centrally. Summertown right on the doorstep. Convenient for a work trip.
Cons: There was a bit of a moth-bath smell and the bottom sheet kept coming untucked and wrinkling up.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming they even let me park my rent-a-car in owners place
Cons: Everything was great 10/10

Okay 4.2
Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The cleaness. The front office staff! The service at the cafe/restaurant.
Cons: The room cleaning last day
Good 6.8
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All in all, a very pleasent stay. Nice, clean and very welcoming staff.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Easy check in, easy check out, everything I needed in my room. Good restaurant space and coffee on site. Everything you need for a week night stay.
Cons: Quite a long walk to my room with my bags.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable and nice size bed and pillows. The hair dryer, iron and ironing board were great additions to the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Online check in and out. Also, self check in and check out screens by the reception to speed up the process. Luggage storage in case you arrive before your checkout time, or want to explore more the city without carrying your luggage after checkout. Pool and gym that are accessible to the hotel guests.
Cons: The toilet cleanliness, more specifically the shower head as there was a crust of limescale on it. Also, the air con filter didn't seem to be changed in a while.
Excellent 9.2
Cons: Bar staffing is never adequate, staff ok just never enough of them = long wait!
Excellent 8.2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Staff very pleasant
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I really appreciated the superb hospitality by Mark and the entire staff. Excellent full English breakfast, clean & comfy room!!! My teenage kids loved the speed of Wi-Fi. We definitely would like to come back and next time for a longer stay. Great Quality & Value for Money!!!
Cons: None !!! I wanted to stay longer if my schedule allowed.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival and at breakfast.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very clean, warm, quiet at night, staff very helpful and smiley. Everything worked (had to plug in the tv aerial myself!)
Cons: When flushing the loo it made noises for a good few minutes after! Would have liked a bolt/chain on the inside of the door, being a solo traveller at night it’s nice to know you’re truly locked in! Bed was a little hard for me but that’s each to their own
Excellent 9.0
Pros: breakfast was lovely.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Comfortable bed, great breakfast and friendly staff
Good 6.8
Cons: A bit of walk from Oxford city center
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The team are very friendly and happy. Breakfast was lovely, only thing I’d suggest is for the cost of it, I think check out should be a little later maybe, 11:30 or 12:00.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location, possible to walk into oxford. Also very good value for money
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were met by Mark the manager. Such a friendly welcome, he explained some helpful things and also helped with our cases. He really made the stay even better and was great to have met him. Thank you to you all. Great location to leave the car there and travel by bus all around.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: All of the staff at the Lina were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. It is ideally placed for local shops and amenities and for getting the bus into Oxford. Parking is limited, but we were able to get a parking space at the rear of the property.
Cons: There was only one bedside light in the room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good breakfast, clean, beautiful and quiet room, extremely kind hosts!
Cons: Nothing, It was really perfect
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great location in Summertown right by the shops, bus stops and the Dewy Pub ( Dew Drop) - perfect for what I wanted and lovely staff as ever
Cons: Shared bathroom - but you know what you’re getting ahead of time and it’s nice and was always free when I went to use it
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Fine. Straightforward, clean guest house with all facilities. Friendly staff.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely room. Fresh decor in communal areas. Quiet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Bulgarian staff was very friendly and joyful
Cons: Only issue was the shower being fixed so that it could not be used optimally
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It has a fitness room which was great. Also the rooms were quite spacious, overall we were very comfortable. The staff were lovely
Cons: Bed was a wee bit hard
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It's situated near to where we needed to be and provided a good level of service combined with comfortable accomodation at a competitive price.
Cons: The outlook from the room was a little dark as there were mature trees close to the building which blocked the light. These were preferable to a view of the car park or services at the other side however.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The bed was vast and extremely comfortable. The pillows and duvet had crisp , clean sheets and the room itself was spacious and airy. The Staff , especially Lily and her colleague were welcoming and so very helpful. Breakfast was of a really good standard with fresh , healthy options . The coffee was the only average part . Obviously the self serve machine is for speed and ease when things are busy but the option to have bespoke barista made beverages would be a nice addition for those who have time. Yoghurt , fruit and cereals were really good with plenty of variety. The bar area is ideal for meetings and also down time although the bar staff weren’t knowledgeable about the wine or gins on offer . Perhaps some training needed here. All round a superb hotel for business Ora family wanting to explore the city and the retail park . Bar menu was standard but with lots to choose from .
Cons: The location was ideal for business but just too far out for families . Particularly in the evening .
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Ease of check in/out, location, bar
Cons: You need a degree to work the bath taps!!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I paid online requesting also sofa bed, which was readied with linen and extra towels when I checked in -thoughtful! The room and bath were sparkling clean. We didn't need to pay our teenage sons extra for b'fast which was tasty. Easy parking and grocery.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and pleasant staff. Full room rates feel a bit expensive though.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great location with free parking and easy bus or taxi access to Oxford. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping kept the property clean.
Cons: Probably the most expensive breakfast and dining during my week in the UK. English breakfast was £12 prepaid and right up the street £8. The pub was pricey and dinner expensive as well. Food quality was good but there is no continental breakfast.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely comfy room and the porridge is really thick thick and tasted creamy even though it was made with semi skimmed
Cons: The rooms need proper drawers we had to leave the underwear in the case which we didn’t like

Good 7.0
Pros: Quiet location. Bed reasonably comfortable.
Cons: Decor very outdated and made the room feel a bit unclean.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very good location, pleasant staff.
Cons: Everything was nice.
Poor 1.0
Cons: The room was quite musty smelling and the radiator heat did not work. We tried to call the after hours number on the room phone and no one answered. We then tried the after hours number in the lobby and it was 'not set up to receive phone calls' When we reported it in the morning, we requested a follow up from the owners and a week later we still haven't received anything from them.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast was great value for money and we really liked the idea of dining in our room for breakfast for convenience. The bathroom and shower looked new. Spacious room. Kitchenette with lots of extras including a French press was greatly appreciated. Staff were helpful but not overly personal. Great location, near A road so you can get to anywhere in Oxford quickly with a car. Was helpful that the hotel provided a travel cot at our request. We'd definitely stay here again.
Cons: The room got cold at times. There was a fan heater which could be used though. The French press was a nice touch but wasn't properly disassembled when cleaned leaving coffee inside it the filter part.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice clean room , good location, friendly staff
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nice B&B for a fair price! Nice staff and perfect location with a busstop in front of the hotel towards the city centre!
Cons: The bathroom is a bit outdated but this is why you pay the (lower) price in comparison with other B&B’s.
Excellent 10.0

Pros: Diana is very hospitable, all rooms are clean and the breakfast is great value. Close proximity to Summertime for pubs and restaurants.
Cons: WiFi wasn't great and single rooms are very small for a big man like me!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The welcome was expansive. Room exactly what I needed. Location ideal.
Cons: Noise from nearby junction was persistent, but I was too tired to stay awake and listen to it.
Good 6.0
Cons: Shower
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location was good, bus stop close by and on weekends it is free to park on the road outside B&B
Cons: Wifi kept cutting out throughout the night, I had a lamp with no bulb, quite expensive considering I had a small room with shared bathroom and no breakfast. Not good value for money.
Good 6.7
Pros: The room was good and tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The young lady running the place was very pleasant and helpful. (I believe she was a local university student working over the summer vacation) The location, although not central, was very close to a frequent bus service
Cons: Although it was adequate, I felt that at £115 per night, it is over-priced. Secondly, although advertised as B and B, no breakfast was available!!!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Easy parking and access to the town , absolutely perfect , personalised breakfast prepared to order , warm welcome and persistent pleasantness from my host - Diana
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Fantastic value for money and lovely owners
Cons: It was all good
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room, ate in the bar, food was very nice. Family run pub , owners very friendly and amenable.
Cons: The shower head could do with a clean and the wash basin drained very slowly, otherwise all perfect.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The property is ok but the room is small and so is the bathroom/shower - the washbasin did not have a mixer tap, making it difficult to use warm water. Food choice is limited and I would nor rate it high. The breakast was on but I would not rate it good.
Cons: I mainly needed a quite location, which it was.
Excellent 8.0

Cons: Duvet too warm for me, okay for my wife. December 2019.
Excellent 9.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast excellent. I had the Eggs Benedict which was superb. Location was good for what I needed - work at Oxford Airport.
Cons: Maybe the evening menu could have had a few more choices of mains, but what I had (Haddock & Chips) was really good and fish very fresh.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Hotel location is good, very close to bus station which takes directly to train station. It’s also close to the main sightseeing spot - Blenheim Palace. The room is very clean.
Cons: Heating in the room didn’t work properly and at reception area has bad smell.
Good 6.0
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Rooms on the main road are very noisy Could do with double glazing Rooms and toilet are small
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room was great. Bed was great.
Cons: Nowhere to park the car.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was excellent for Bleinham Palace. Staff very welcoming and breakfast very good, all cooked fresh to order.
Good 6.0
Pros: Rooms were beautifully fitted out
Cons: Room v small, windows needed replacing, no bath. Needed an area where quests could relax. Bar and restaurant were always full and v draughty.
Poor 1.0
Pros: The location
Cons: Would not recommended this accomodation to anyone. We paid £150 a night and it definitely was not worth it. No working toilet, stains on the dresser, cold room, paint falling off the walls., mould on ceiling in bathroom and a non welcoming establishment
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. We were welcomed by a friendly brunette lady on reception, I am afraid we didn’t catch her name but she helped us up to our room and advised of local sights to see as well as assisting with parking - thank you so much. We stayed in room 11 - David - and found the beds very comfy, the room spacious and clean. As others have said, the road outside is noisy but the location is so good that this is easily forgotten. Woodstock itself is gorgeous and the locals are all very friendly. I recommend a dinner and drinks in the Woodstock Arms over the road. Coffee at breakfast was lovely and the breakfast bap was delicious! Ignore the bad reviews - we had a lovely time!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was clean and comfortable and good value for money . The staff were pleasant and a full English breakfast was included in the price. It was also conveniently situated for visiting the tourist spots in Oxford.
Cons: Nothing it was all ok
Okay 4.0
Pros: location was good. market was near by. Not much to say about positives
Cons: Rooms were very small and congested. Bathroom sink was blocked and had to wait for water to drain.
Good 7.0
Pros: The buses are very regular into town. We had a room on the ground floor. It's small and friendly. Has off road parking.
Cons: It's a fair walk into the centre of the town. The road outside is very busy.
Okay 4.6
Pros: This place was easy to get to and relatively cheap. Free on site parking.
Cons: We were greeted with a grumpy sign at the door saying what NOT to do. When we entered we were given keys and pointed towards to upstairs room. Once we parked and got into our room we made our way into Oxford, quite a distance, you need to catch the bus. Later when we returned we had to YouTube how to use the shower as we had not used that type of hot water service and there was no information displayed with directions. Our bed was small, sagged in the middle and creaked at every movement. When we woke in the morning we went to the breakfast room. It was clean and the cook was very friendly. We asked for eggs and bacon. The eggs were unrecognisable, possibly powdered. The owners of this guest house could really work on their communication and friendliness. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t excuse poor service.
Good 7.0
Pros: Friendly and helpful host especially Amanda who accommodates our request to make our stay convenience and comfortable ! Location is good just mins walk to public transport
Cons: Generally acceptable with the price paid
Poor 1.0
Cons: This is the worst B&B we have stayed in in Britain. If we hadn't have had to pay up front we would not have stayed . Most of what was said in the advert for it is false .
Good 7.5
Pros: It was central to the places we wanted to visit. It suited our purposes. It wasn’t expensive Breakfast was good.
Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
