Cons: Nothing
Good 7.5

Cons: Very narrow stairway to the room, difficult with luggage’s
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Location is good once you work out the geography of the area.
Cons: Lighting for reading in room.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The setting was very nice and peaceful
Cons: The property was dated. Was not informed that a car would be a necessity as a very remote location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything was excellent
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent location near to park and rides into Oxford, within easy reach of Blenheim Palace. Very nice accommodation with comfortable bed all to a high standard; a good choice of continental breakfast or cooked one to order served in the delightful old farmhouse. Laura and Graham were so friendly, helpful and created a "home from home" atmosphere.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable stay in a lovely farmhouse and a beautiful setting. Graham the proprietor was very helpful and obliging.
Cons: The shower over the bath needed attention.
Good 7.9
Pros: The breakfast was good the bed comfy . Good shower fluffy towels.
Cons: Kettle a bit difficult on bottom shelf and would not fit under tap in sink.to fill it up. The bedroom was small and bathroom was scruffy.in decor. It was very difficult getting up the small spiral staircase into the room. The soap dispenser was empty so no soap.no spare toilet roll.. The room was not serviced the second day but the very friendly lady Laura was willing to replenish towels and tea/coffee.
Okay 5.8
Pros: The bed is big and quite comfortable.
Cons: The house is a bit old and with crackings in the ceiling. The carpet in the room looks old too and a bit dirty. No hot breakfast is provided.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Since our last visit the access road has been resurfaced which was much appreciated. Included continental breakfast with lots of options was delicious.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent staff. So welcoming, courteous, helpful and very informative. Beds were extremely comfortable, lovely facilities.
Cons: No opening window in the bathroom. Large mirror opposite the bed, it could have been sited somewhere else, as a bit uncomfortable looking at yourself whilst in bed!
Excellent 10.0

Cons: There’s nothing we didn’t like

Excellent 8.8
Pros: A very comfortable bed. The room was quiet enough to have the widow open all night. Good breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helped me when my key didn't work.
Cons: Key didn't work a couple of times as it must have come in contact with my phone. I was warned that this might happen and although I was mindful of this it still happened as I had a small bag. If this is a common problem, which I sense it is, then offering a protective case for keycard could be really helpful, especially if you are returning to the room late at night when the reception is closed.
Good 7.4
Cons: The breakfast would of be better if it was not a buffet
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent reception and very attentive staff
Cons: Everything was perfect
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, good choice of English breakfast and continental with fresh coffee and juices.
Cons: Everything was good apart from blind needed on side window in room and fan to small, although very hot during our stay.
Good 7.1
Pros: The smallest double bed in human history!!!
Cons: The bed size
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The mattresses are nice and then they try to sell them to you
Cons: Shower broken so only poured water at waist height . Room far pokier than clever photos suggest, and they’ve gone for the harshest LED lighting. No HVAC to note - the window stays open and the Banbury Road traffic noise pours inn24/7. Functional bathroom designed for wheelchairs and has the charm of a delousing unit. Good value for £35 and scrapes it at £50, but wait, no, this is Oxford so it’s £108 discounted and everyone queuing for breakfast at 7.30am,so keen are they to leave.
Good 7.1
Cons: Parking very tricky because the entrance way to the side car park was narrow! Tight spaces.
Good 6.7
Pros: An incredibly friendly and helpful staff, impeccably clean rooms and breakfast included in price. I appreciated that they allowed us early arrival and prepared our room in advance.
Cons: If this were listed as a three star hotel it would get a perfect score from me, but it doesn’t have the standing or amenities of a four star hotel. The standard double was nice but nothing exceptional, and there was no minibar, no temperature control, thin windows. The breakfast was not great compared to other four star properties; it was all pre prepared and eggs were runny, not enough vegetarian options etc. Nothing made to order. There was no bar, spa or sauna on property. A nice hotel if you’re expecting three star quality, but no more. This says a lot about the incredible paucity of good hotels in oxford. Could be a little less expensive to offer genuine value.
Good 7.1
Pros: Big Bathroom. Big TV. Very kind and nice receptionist. Decent breakfast in large bright open space. Parking space.
Cons: Small double bed. Small room. 1st floor room warm when hot outside but fan provided.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean, friendly, free breakfast. Couldn’t ask for much more.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Room was very pretty and the recepionist so kind !!!! I never forget her kindiness. The room was conforteble and spacius... beautiful view and very close to city centre.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our room was light and airy with attractive furnishing, good lighting, and enough space. The bed was extremely comfortable. There is a lovely garden which we would have used if we had had more time!
Cons: The traffic noise meant we couldn't sleep with the window open at night, although the secondary glazing was excellent.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nice small town hotel
Cons: Have to carry bags up and down by ourself cause there is no lift
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great location with parking which is a real bonus. Premises well.amintained and clean. Communal areas bright and cheerful. Newspapers available to read. Good breakfast. When shower broke, staff were quick to get it mended.
Cons: Property does not have air conditioning and staying during hot summer weather can be somewhat uncomfortable. Also staff could have been more attentive at breakfast as we had to ask for numerous things (glasses for juice, pastries which had run out, sauce, etc) even though there were only 4 other guests in the restaurant.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location for exploring Oxford. Free upgrade to a nice size room which was clean and comfortable, lovely ambience, and the staff were helpful & friendly. Great breakfast with the room overlooking the garden. Remarkably quiet at night.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent breakfast en service by the staff in the morning (espeacially the (compared to the rest) elder lady with glasses. Rooms are perfect; Nice beds en a good shower.
Cons: WiFi could be bettter.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I loved my stay at Parklands; it was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The location was very convenient - slightly outside the city centre, which made it less crowded and noisy, but close enough to walk. The breakfast was excellent. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!
Cons: My only suggestion is to supply an iron and ironing board in the room - you could ask for one but it's something I find a hassle and I always need one!
Good 7.9
Pros: Nice and clean
Cons: The room we had was small for the price we paid in. The lady with glasses and short hair was the most pleasant one there. We didn’t have a good morning one morning just a glare off the lady with long dark hair
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location, 15/20 minutes walk from the centre, comfortable, well equipped bedroom tastefully decorated. Free car parking!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really smart bed and breakfast. If they had a full time receptionist, it would be a three star hotel. Seems to have just been decorated throughout in smart contemporary colours, and the towels and bed linen was good quality and crisp. Efficient breakfast, run by professional young women. I asked for, and got, a fried slice, which with the rest of the dull English put many hotels I've stayed in recently to shame. Convenient location - either a short bus ride or a 15 minute walk into the centre of Oxford, and you can park your car for free. What's not to like?
Cons: Unaccountably squeaky floor in bathroom (pack the joists out and use decent flooring) and the shower, whilst new and plenty of pressure was about 70cm square in our room (26). Otherwise, difficult to find fault.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything else!
Cons: Room too warm

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Small but beautifully clean room with added bonus of a fridge . Ashley was very helpful and had thoughtfully arranged a cake with a hand written note for our anniversary . breakfast very tasty and well presented .
Cons: Bed was a little hard for us
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Best bacon for breakfast I have had at a hotel or guest house ,perfect a very friendly welcome and helpful staff location good for concert venue at nearby Blenhiem Palace
Cons: although we were the only ones staying there , I was concerned as to where we would have parked the car if all 6 rooms were booked up when we got back late from the concert., only could see spaces for 4 cars
Excellent 9.6
Pros: There was everything you could need in the room, the breakfast was excellent and the staff lovely
Cons: There was nothing to dislike but the room was a bit small. It was very warm so we had the windows open and the road noise was quite loud.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was plentiful, cereal, fruit, juices, pastries and full English as well. Cooked food was hot and delicious, our hosts Ashley and Chris were very welcoming, extremely friendly and very attentive. We stayed in Room 6 downstairs at the front of the house, the busy main road wasn’t a problem at night! Although the room was a little tight on space for 3 people we only needed a place to sleep! Lovely touches such as complimentary towelling slippers, toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Beds were very comfortable, we all slept very well. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, great shower and lovely fluffy towels- and a hairdryer available too! Great location for buses into Oxford, a bus stop almost right outside. 10 minutes drive to Peartree Park and Ride with buses every 15 mins. A 10 minute drive to Blenheim Palace and the RHS flower show which was the purpose of our trip. We would thoroughly recommend Five Mile and most definitely stay there again.
Cons: Nothing at all to dislike!
Good 6.3
Pros: Nice Location good connections via rail or buses
Cons: Small bathroom, not so comfortable bed , limited breakfast
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Excellent location, amazing bus links to the city centre no need to drive anywhere
Cons: Check in was poor, key just left in an envelope and we arrived at 3pm. Breakfast was ok but not great. Raw mushrooms on cooked breakfast not nice
Good 7.5
Pros: Ashley was very helpful.we had the triple room downstairs which I think is a double with an extra bed as the room was really small so is the bathroom. We had no luggage only a small bag each which was fine but if you have any sort of luggage it would not fit into the room. Saying this the beds were comfortable, the room was nicely decorated, showers were great, it had a small fridge and water inside the fridge which was a nice touch. The bb was nicely decorated, parking avaliable on site if you are early as I think there should be space for 3 cars. We were the only ones there so we had no problem with parking but there is parking opposite the bb. Bus stop just outside so very convenient and location is not too far away from Oxford city. We had a nice one night stay, thanks very much
Cons: Small room and small bathroom
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Ashley was wonderful and made us feel very at home. The room was a good size and the bathroom, though a little cramped for tall people, had a good sized shower. Breakfast was lovely and they were able to provide GF bread and sausages.
Cons: Bathroom was a little bit cramped.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed chatting with her.The breakfast was very good. Although the room was a little on the small side and so was the bathroom, it was very comfortable and modern. The wifi was great and there was no problem with hot water. The Inn was cute and charming. The location was fine, a bit out of town, which was fine with us. There was a bus stop almost right outside the door with many direct buses to town center. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
Cons: A little on the small side, yet very comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very firm mattress made for a really good night's sleep excellent breakfast. What's not to like. Would recommend.
Cons: Light bulb replacement in bedside light.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was excellent with many options. The location is right off of a bus route which was very convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the bed was not very comfortable.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: The staff at the hotel is very friendly and gave us good advice on the places to visit on our short trip in Oxford.
Cons: The room is small. The shower area drainage is not good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly check in receptionist.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: friendly welcome. Lift available for getting luggage up to my room. Good variety for breakfast in lovely airy room. Comfortable bed and very clean bright bathroom
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our room was newly renovated with overly bathroom. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: We liked everything about our stay.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Croissants good and flaky, the breakfast nuts and fruit was all peanuts. Not suitable. We found the bed a bit too hard and the duvet too solid to drape close to the body, shame.
Cons: See above.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: This is a small hotel that appears to have been recently renovated. The rooms a very small and the corridors are somewhat maze-like, but the bed was good, the room clean and the breakfast, served in a large dining area with lots of big windows, was very good. Large selection of items served buffet style. Parking is limited and is a first come situation. Don't know where one would park if the lot is full. The hotel is located on a bus line and you can get day-long passes for four pounds. It is an easy ride to the area most tourists want to see.
Cons: Parking lot could be better, but I don't know how that could be done. There is just so much room, and when it's full, it's full.
Okay 5.0
Pros: We parked our car in the car park and could not leave the premises as there was a van obstructing our exit. The staff asked if we could move the van if they gave us the keys as the van owner was offsite. This is very unprofessional and delayed our journey home
Good 7.1
Pros: In a great location
Cons: Room was good put had a terrible nights sleep with the people above our room awake till gone 04.00 and was promised a good quiet room by the receptionist
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I and my friend had stayed there a couple of years ago and we liked it then. City centre is about 2 miles away. Bus stop is right outside the hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are very nice. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Car parking spaces are available but tight.
Cons: Our rooms were at the front of the building which is on a fairly busy road which is very noisy almost throughout the night especially when we had to keep our windows open because of the intense heat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff were super friendly, great location on bus route straight into town. Bed comfortable & 1st establishment we have stayed in over the past 10 days where there has actually been a top sheet
Cons: Privacy in shower & toilet not that great with frosted glass & door. Pillows were not fantastic - ver, very soft

Pros: Nice staff and gym
Cons: The breakfast is bad. Rooms are old and has bad smell. Over priced.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Finding your room in a maze of sameness
Okay 4.2
Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Good 7.5
Pros: Hotel is in a good location and was ideal for the requirements that I had.
Cons: Nothing to comment as it was purely required for an overnight work stay
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We got upgraded to a Superior room as the room they initially gave us was quite a walk away from the reception/hotel entrance, which I did not appreciate. The bed was huge, even in the standard room, and was really comfy. The room was clean and had an all round comfy feel
Cons: The hotel and the rooms had the central A/C setting to “cooling mode” which meant that the rooms were cold and even if you tried to use the heater, it would only blow out cold air. Apparently this is how it is for this time of year which I did not understand as it begins to get cooler in September anyway. My room was too cold and no one picked up the reception phone when I wanted to complain about this, so I had to go to the front, and they then rectified with a portable heater that worked wonders.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was great. Bus stops just down the road [2 mins walk] that takes you straight into Oxford. Great car park. easy access by car to other places near by e.g. Blenheim palace. Great walk straight from hotel to a little village that houses one of Morses pubs.. the Trout Inn. Great access to Woodstock.
Cons: didn't like the glass doors into bathroom. If you put the light on in the middle of the night you can disturb your partner.
Good 7.1
Pros: Location great, staff helpful. Bar food great .
Cons: Very dust in communal (bar) area. Picture and selves not been wiped in months by the look of them.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: There was plenty of parking spaces and you could leave your car and get the bus into Oxford The hotel was located in a good place
Cons: The bathroom was very small and you couldn't get into the shower very well
Good 6.7
Pros: Hotel & room fittings good quality and new
Cons: Curtains so far away from window that early morning light shines on your face. No-one on reception at 4am to help me deal with violent argument in room next door. Having paid extra for a bit of luxury I was extremely disappointed.
Excellent 8.2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Accommodating staff. They let us leave luggage and called a cab.
Cons: It was a bit far by foot from town. Area was nice, though.
Good 7.9
Pros: Welcoming staff! Lovely fresh food. Comfy beds.
Cons: Decor a little dated, especially bedroom carpet. Key to room was awkward. Also a damaged floorboard near bedroom entrance. Keys left under outside doormat could present a security issue.
Good 7.5
Pros: Staff enthusiastic and welcoming. Free car park. Decor and facilities a bit oldish but functional. Breakfast reasonable.
Cons: A bit away, don't expect to be able to walk to the center. There are mutliple buses going to the center, however. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, as it was raining the whole day. We ended up spending half a day in the B&B and surroundings, and there really is not much there. We had a room on the ground floor, right next to the entrance and overlooking car park. Had to keep the curtains closed the whole time, as otherwise everyone can't help but look into your room.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Room was lovely, with everything we needed. Breakfast very good. Everyone friendly and helpful.
Cons: No hook inside bathroom door to hang pyjamas
Good 6.8
Cons: A bit of walk from Oxford city center
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Can't fault Mark, Kim and the staff in general. Everyone was so incredibly polite. Mark was a wonderful host and knowledgeable of the area giving us sufficient information on what/where to visit.
Cons: Could do with a touch up or modernisation. All rooms seemed to be close together, so could hear the 'neighbours'. Not in an unpleasant way, but could hear doors close etc.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable and very clean. Excellent is the only way to describe the breakfast. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous and do all they can to make you feel welcome.
Cons: Honestly cannot think of anything.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Mark is a very nice man with a good sense of humour! The breakfast was perfect!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Friendly staff great breakfast. Parking and close to bus stop
Cons: Room stated was a double & 2 singles. Was double 1 single and a mattress on the floor. Very tight
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great welcome and friendly host.
Cons: Bit noisy at times overnight.

Pros: Super friendly staff! And very accommodating!

Pros: Diana is very hospitable, all rooms are clean and the breakfast is great value. Close proximity to Summertime for pubs and restaurants.
Cons: WiFi wasn't great and single rooms are very small for a big man like me!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Diana was a very friendly and attentive host. I arrived a good few hours before the set check-in time and arrangments were made and agreed for me to park my car at the B&B in order that I could go into Oxford for the day and then check in later. (parking in the center Oxford is very expensive and restrictive to a few hours)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The welcome was expansive. Room exactly what I needed. Location ideal.
Cons: Noise from nearby junction was persistent, but I was too tired to stay awake and listen to it.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was quiet but just 2 minutes from the main road. Diana was a great guide and made suggestions about things to see and do.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: breakfast was nicely cooked and a good selection of cereals and fruit.to choose from
Cons: Tv very limited.

Pros: Very accommodating and the bed was very comfortable. An enjoyable stay for the one night we were there.

Pros: The lady of the house very nice!!!! lovely person and the breakfast was lovely too...
Cons: The bed was sadly not comfortable very springy and rocked all over not very good sorry to say...
Good 6.7
Pros: The room was good and tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The young lady running the place was very pleasant and helpful. (I believe she was a local university student working over the summer vacation) The location, although not central, was very close to a frequent bus service
Cons: Although it was adequate, I felt that at £115 per night, it is over-priced. Secondly, although advertised as B and B, no breakfast was available!!!
Okay 4.2
Pros: There were no interference. Location was close to city. I was allowed to park. I arrived early and was let in.
Cons: I did not have breakfast as I believe that a Bed and breakfast should include breakfast and not charge separately. Location was noisy at night. Full of spiders. Cleanliness below par. No housekeeping during stay. Rubbish could have been emptied if not daily. Stain on radiator in shower, on cubicle and filthy behind toilet. There was only one sachet of coffee and not enough of other tea facilities. Not a single biscuit. Furniture are tatty and should all be replaced. AS FOR LUXURY THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE. The owner was kind enough to let me in early but was sort of grumpy.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Easy parking and access to the town , absolutely perfect , personalised breakfast prepared to order , warm welcome and persistent pleasantness from my host - Diana
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind

Pros: The place was absolutely fantastic... the staff were excellent and the breakfast was delicious x
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beds very comfy! And location wonderful. Staff were friendly & welcoming.
Cons: Blind was broken, & when we moved the coffee machine to use it, it was very apparent that this hadn't been moved in quite sometime to be cleaned!! Lots of dust & hair!
Good 6.3
Pros: Location and Dyson fans in room which were a necessaty
Cons: Not enough staff , had to wait far too long to order a meal , offered complimentary drink , male waiter/manager rushed off feet , not his fault.. Not much choice to menu , stayed fullers before, very disappointed as room price far too high for what’s on offer ..
Good 7.5
Pros: Location
Cons: N/a
Good 6.7
Pros: The position of the hotel and friendly staff. Woodstock is an attractive village.
Cons: We were on second floor but there is no lift. My husband is a fit 80 and could manage all the luggage but I found the stairs a struggle. There was no car park though we were assured beforehand that there was one. A miscommunication. Managed to find a space opposite on the street and next day walked the mile to Blenheim so as not to lose our place. We had dinner when we arrived. Watch out for fishcakes ! My husband got just one in the middle of a large plate, more like a posh starter. But my fish and chips was abundant so I passed him some of my meal. We dined elsewhere next night. Breakfast service was scrappy. We asked for bacon and eggs and toast. The bacon and eggs arrived but got cold before the toast arrived. There was no fruit on offer although it was on the menu. Next morning still no fruit ! Staff kindly supplied an apple but it was Granny Smith - hard and sour.
Good 7.9
Pros: Excellent location. Quaint.
Cons: Top-floor bedroom was unbearably stuffy. They provided 2 Dyson Airblades which were good at cooling the room but were too noisy to sleep with. The bath/shower wasn't non-slip and there was no non-slip mat, making it potentially dangerous.
Good 6.3
Pros: Stylish bedroom. Bottles of water available. Nice coffee machine in bedroom. Good bath, plenty of hot water. Staff were good. Room was clean.
Cons: Bedroom was airless and needed Dyson fan on all the time. Only one chair to sit on in bedroom. Only one bedside table. No shelves to store things in bathroom. Dining room chairs were shabby. Breakfast a bit hit and miss, for example, no ham for Eggs Benedict, no porridge - both advertised on menu. Overpriced wine for evening meals - £18 for a half bottle of a blended Malbec was too expensive for a very ordinary wine
Good 7.1
Pros: The location was good and the room very comfortable and clean. The dyson fans made the rooms cool in hot weather. The staff tried hard to please.
Cons: Waiting 30 minutes for coffee at breakfast and then almost an hour for food whilst the girl on duty struggled with the computer was unacceptable. The general lack of staff and disorganization hampered the smooth running of a lovely hotel. We were charged for food and drink we didn’t have and then had considerable difficulties in retrieving the overpayment,as no staff were qualified to make a refund. We paid three visits and three phone calls to the hotel before the issue was resolved.
Good 6.7
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: Room was a bit small, smelt musty, probably needs updating
Good 7.9
Pros: Lovely beds, nice food, great location
Cons: Good food but not enough staff to cope without seeming flustered!

Pros: Location next to park and ride and advice from reception on how to get there. Free newspaper.
Cons: Expensive dining
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Ideally located for walking to park & ride into Oxford city centre so no parking fees. Good basic facilities with additional services alongside for food snacks.
Cons: It is a little isolated and unsuitable for local walks as surrounded by road networks but a compromise worth having for ease of city centre transport.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It's situated near to where we needed to be and provided a good level of service combined with comfortable accomodation at a competitive price.
Cons: The outlook from the room was a little dark as there were mature trees close to the building which blocked the light. These were preferable to a view of the car park or services at the other side however.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The breakfast was ok, and the hotel was easy to find, but a footpath to the park and ride stop would be good, or better have the buses stop at the hotel.
Cons: The restaurant staff were rude and unhelpful to us, placing me in an uncomfortable seat in a corner in an empty restaurant and then ignoring us and serving later arrivals first. The head waiter, he did not really deserve even that title, avoided my eyes, and was unapologetic when I complained. This level of ignorance is unacceptable at this level.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I paid online requesting also sofa bed, which was readied with linen and extra towels when I checked in -thoughtful! The room and bath were sparkling clean. We didn't need to pay our teenage sons extra for b'fast which was tasty. Easy parking and grocery.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and pleasant staff. Full room rates feel a bit expensive though.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Spacious, clean bedroom. Nice lobby and breakfast area, with some delicious fresh baked bread at breakfast time. Helpful and friendly staff at front desk.
Cons: A bit expensive for a Holiday Inn; I guess due to proximity to Oxford town and University.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was really nicely decorated and clean. The staff were all really helpful and the breakfast was great too.
Cons: I was happy with all elements of the hotel.
Good 6.7
Pros: Free parking
Cons: Long bus ride out of town, 20 mins
Good 7.1
Pros: Clean room lots of parking nice reception area. Room was spacious bathroom was also a good size and clean.
Cons: Pillows were awful we needed at least another one each. Unfortunately the room next to ours had their tv on exceptionally loud at 1.30 am they also were extremely noisy and loud when talking at this hour very inconsiderate. We thought breakfast was over priced considering in town we were able to get a breakfast fresh cooked for half the price.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great location near the Oxford services off the a34. Good access to everything including oxford and Woodstock. Although they couldn't reserve parking it was ample and well lit. The room was clean and a good size (executive room) with tea/coffee facilities and a mini bar as well as a lot of other useful things.
Cons: The pillows weren't great but on-par with other hotels and the bed was comfortable but a bit too bouncy and every time one of us moved, the other woke up. I think I'll take a twin room next time :)
Good 7.1
Cons: There isn’t any porter facility

Cons: Can’t think of anything it ticked all the boxes for us.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent traditional old style country pub which is one of the nicest I have seen, let alone stayed in, would definitely stay again. Very warm welcome and fantastic old English Village, 15 minutes drive to Oxford and same to Blenheim Palace, top location.
Cons: Bathrooms clean but looking a bit dated.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful, spacious warm double bedroom, soft cotton sheets and very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with loads of hot water, deep old fashioned bath - perfect. Good lighting, a small table and two chairs in the bedroom and I loved the kitchenette with the provision of a cafetière, ground coffee, teapot and a range of teas. Cutlery and cups and saucers also provided. Good attention to detail. Very quiet area but on a easy bus route into the city. Perfect for my stay. Definitely would return. So pleased to find a Gideon Bible in the bedside drawer. Good value.
Cons: Broken window blind and decor rather tired but could easily spruce up with lighter colours on walls. Nothing detracted from the many advantages though.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: We chose the hotel based on its location and price. It was on a good bus route into the city with buses every 10mins. Lovely big twin room and bathroom. Fully English breakfast was served in our room at the requested time. Much better than we expected. Helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely staff, happily accommodated our needs for a ground floor room, comfortable beds, supplied a board game!
Cons: I liked the breakfast but it was a little cold and thought there may have been fruit juice supplied too.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good hotel
Cons: Beautiful maintained and neat and clean
Excellent 9.6
Cons: Checked out at six in the morning as ha a long drive no key drop box.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was lovely and clean, particularly the bathroom which is always plus for us. Staff were friendly. Great position.
Cons: It was all good.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Check in easy, off street parking. Breakfast brought to room, great having fridge in room. Fan not in room but this was sorted straight away. Pint of milk, orange juice. butter jams. yoghurts and cereal in room to have when you wanted. Large room, there was a chemical smell at first but soon disappeared. Location grrat for Blenheim Palace and Oxford would stay again.
Cons: Stain on quilt cover. Reception not open on second day at 6pm when stated open until 9pm, other guests waiting for reception to open.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We liked the added extra of the kitchenette in the room which was a large triple room with a single bed not a sofa bed which is often the case in hotel rooms.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent staff very helpful & friendly. Room was very roomy with a new bathroom. The kind staff let us leave our hire car parked in the lot after checkout so we could explore Oxford for a few more hours before our next destination!! Highly recommended!!!
Cons: None
Good 7.9
Pros: We were 3 friends staying in the suite (1 x double and 1 x single bed) which was a nice size and very clean. We stayed in a hotel a bit out of town to cut costs but bus link to town was fast and convenient taking you to the town centre in less than 10 mins. Lots of free safe road parking outside the hotel at the weekend. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend and would use the hotel again.
Cons: Having breakfast in the room was nice but although the cooked breakfast was well cooked/presented the products tasted very cheap, not much meat content in those sausages!

Good 7.1
Pros: Generally a cute and nice little place. Staff very friendly and location is good in terms of transport and nice shops around. May need to take the bus or get a bike to reach the City center or it will become a 30 minute walk...
Cons: The room had a low ceiling in one of the sides which is not very comfortable for tall people... also, could get a bit of noise from he room next to mine as they are so close to each other... all good otherwise
Excellent 10.0
Pros: great value for money, neat room, good breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room had everything we needed,. It was hot in Oxford so quite hot in the room but then we found a fan in the wardrobe.....perfect! Really couldn't fault this Guest House ...really pleasant and great value for money.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything close to the town centre with good bus service Owners/ staff excellent .breakfast very good choice and we’ll presented
Cons: No problems only question is that it should be higher rated
Mediocre 3.3
Cons: Not a comfortable stay at all. Very old bed and decor. The bathroom has damp Lino floor. Paid for double bed room and was given two single beds pushed together with extremely old springy mattress. The sheets were stained and generally not a clean room. Basic breakfast with limited selection. Staff of the guest house interrupted stay several times at wrong times without apology and there was an incident of a leaking bathroom floor. Not sure how it’s managed to get 3 star rating as it’s sub par. The guest house needs upgrading and it’s a shame the owners are not investing money in it as it’s in a reasonable location. Would not recommend under current management.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Stayed in the room for three people. Very spacious room, small bathroom but wasn’t a problem. Staff were very friendly and accommodating on arrival and throughout our stay. Space to park which was very handy. Ten minute taxi into the centre of Oxford.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Simple and prompt. Just what was needed and served with a friendly face.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Good 7.5
Pros: The room is cozy and clean with single glazed window system, so noise can disappear the moment you shut the window even for street-facing side. Tesco and Sainsbury's are within walking distance. Decent breakfast served by friendly staff.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Small cosy place, rooms are decorated nicely for the size they have, silent rooms and location, very friendly and smiling staff, good breakfast for this size of guest house
Cons: Only a little bit long walk to the city but a nice area to walk
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location in Summertown, North Oxford, with parking and public bus service to centre of Oxford. Delicious continental breakfast, including eggs. Very friendly and welcoming host couple.
Good 7.0
Pros: The style, cleanliness, coziness.
Cons: Location. 10 minutes bus trip (2£ ticket) to the city centre.
Good 6.0
Pros: Quiet, free parking, handy for shops, restaurants, & pubs in Summertown on main bus route into Oxford
Cons: Continental breakfast was a bit limited - no cereal or fruit (extra charge for a cooked breakfast), breakfast room on the small side. Shower - hit or miss with hot water supply
Okay 5.3
Pros: Well organised procedures in dealing with customers. Reliability.
Cons: There was nothing which I did not like.
Mediocre 2.7
Pros: the room is pretty clean
Cons: the staff working there were not very helpful, and the room was small
Good 6.3
Pros: Friendly approachable staff.Good feel to the hotel. Thoughful layout and facilities in the room - so often rooms have poor drawer space, no coat hooks etc. Not so here - though a relatively small room it had all we needed.
Cons: generally very happy with our stay. If I'm being asked to think of any negatives i's say, we couldn't access some of the main TV channels and breakfast was a bit of a squeeze given the size of the tables. neither was such a problem that it was worth mentioning otherwise.
Good 7.7
Pros: Staff were both very friendly and helpful. Lovely young ladies brought up and brought down my bags as, at 77, I could only bring myself up and down. Guest House was homey and well=located: restaurants and shops nearby; buses stopped a block away. Highly recommend.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7.2
Pros: Good b & b, nothing flashy. Value for money. Breakfast rather simple but good quality.
Cons: A long way out from city centre. Temperature of electric shower sometimes difficult to control.

Cons: Room was to small for 3 persons.
Good 7.5
Pros: Easy check in
Cons: N/a
Okay 4.2
Pros: The convenient location.
Cons: Cramped room with windowless, wardrobe sized bathroom fitted with an electric shower that dribbled scalding hot water. Bedroom location directly next to breakfast room made it very noisy
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff was very well coming as well as helpful the room was clean nice bedroom thanks Amaha.
Cons: .....
Good 7.1
Pros: Parking at front of guesthouse. Comfortable beds and quiet surrounds. Ample selection at breakfast. Easy check in and out. Nice standard twin room. Perfect location for my needs.
Cons: Shower was hit and miss regards pressure and temperature. Broken shower head holder so had to hold it whilst showering.
Good 6.7
Pros: Small B&B with friendly staff. There is key lock next to the door for late arrivals. Reasonable value for money.
Cons: Room a bit noisy, the B&B being at a busy street. Everything was clean, but could use some paint etc. here and there. Simple boiler (difficult to get comfortable temperature) and scrambler toilet (rather noisy).
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great location. Quiet room
Cons: Limited parking but easy access by bus from train station
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was clean and well-supplied. Sufficient breakfast choices.
Cons: The guest house was advertised as having self laundry service, but it did not. We chose not to pay for having our laundry done by staff members. Also, the advertised “seating area” in the room was in reality only a desk and a chair wedged between the window and the bed.
Good 6.3
Pros: Location excellent, eateries, supermarkets across the road, bus outside to go into Oxford, also a flat, very pleasant walk into Oxford centre, about 1.9 miles.
Cons: Shabby interior, uncomfortable bed (personal finding)
