Pros: Overall, the facility was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the pool was beautiful and atmospheric, but the service left too much to be desired. When we called to the front desk for assistance of any kind, we were met with tones of condescension. Almost as if asking for a room service menu, as are room had none, or ordering room service was a bother to them. We waited an hour for a Cobb salad to be delivered, only to find that it was missing bacon, egg, and avocado...practically half the salad! For the price of the salad, I expected so much more. I certainly could have called to notify them of the issue, but after having waited at long we did want to waste more time. Apart from the lack of care for customer satisfaction dealt out by the front desk, we also ran into issues with the bell man. At first, he offered to look out for our scheduled taxi, while we waited inside. But, we soon realized that he wasn't going to follow through on his offer as he was standing inside chatting it up with a co-worker as time came for our taxi to arrive. So, we got up and went to look for it ourselves. This is not to say that all of the customer service personnel were lacking. There were certain individuals who were kind, friendly, and attentive to our needs. But, I would say by and far that customer satisfaction is not apparent by their services rendered. If you're looking to feel like you as a customer and a person matters, then stay far away from Hotel Monteleone. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay, then by all means, book that room!

Pros: Excellent service. Doormen were friendly and engaging; they greeted my two young children with our every entrance/exit and asked them about the activities in between, made some fun suggestions for meals and places of interest to visit- really added to the experience for each of the kids. Small rooms, but comfortable, good noise control - was not disturbed despite business of lobby and hallways. Beautiful foyer and delicious menu at Criollo, the restaurant downstairs. Will certainly return to this hotel for its service, comfort, attractiveness and convenient location.
Cons: Spa staff were not at the desk on more than one occasion, were haughty and were generally unfriendly during booking of appointments. Stark contrast to the rest of the hotel. Services provided were acceptable. Would NOT be likely to return to spa based on the unpleasantness of interacting with them.

Pros: We have always wanted to stay at the Hotel Monteleone. Since we were traveling to New Orleans with friends from Ohio who have never been to the south, we decided to splurge. The experience and treatment we received during our stay was far above my expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted and assisted by the valet, doorman, and bellman. While speaking to the man during check in, my husband asked if a king upgrade was available. He then moved us to a king room complimentary. Our room was so nice with custom items making the stay extra special. We wanted dinner suggestions and some tour suggestions. The concierge, Anita, was great! She was very patient and knowledgeable of the area. She could tailor her suggestions to your specific requests. She was very great with multi-tasking and never once made us feel rushed on a decision. When one of the tours we wanted to book was sold out, she called 3 other vendors until she found an opening. The staff at Hotel Monteleone are all very friendly and speak everytime they see you. Even a lady from housekeeping stopped to ask how we were enjoying our stay. The location is central to EVERYTHING. When in New Orleans, we typically walk 8-10 miles per day, but Hotel Monteleone is so close we averaged 4-5 miles. This hotel is definitely worth the price.
Cons: I really have no complaints about my stay. The only thing to note are the small bathrooms, but this is standard in New Orleans.

Pros: Location
Cons: Booked this room over 6 months in advance for the night before our wedding. Turns out we booked a day earlier than what we needed. I called the hotel to see if we could switch, but was rudely spoken to, hung up on twice when I asked to speak to a manager and when I finally did get ahold of someone in charge, they were unwilling to work out anything. I was at a loss for words. I travel to NOLA every few months and have always wanted to stay at hotel monteleone. So disappointed with the customer service, the way they spoke to customers, and although we did end up staying there that night, it will be the last time. Go to the bar, don't spend the night

Pros: - The location was in perfect proximity to the French Quarter (in the French Quarter) on the gorgeous Royal St which is, in my experience, the prettiest street in the French Quarter - There are ample antique shops, art galleries, restaurants, jazz clubs and cafes nearby - The hotel is exceptionally lovely, very clean and well-maintained - The rotating carousel bar on the first floor is fabulous with a great jazz band on Saturday nights. - Rooftop pool is gorgeous but was always full - The Spa sounded fantastic
Cons: - The cost of the parking was extremely high (~40+ per day) Even after checking out and only being in the area for < 15 hours the last day, we still had to pay the full amount for the day. - The pool was always really crowded which speaks to the popularity of the hotel

Pros: The staff and cleaning crew were wonderful. Always going above and beyond to make our stay perfect.
Cons: The pool had debris in the pool. It was also very cold and we were told it would be heated. Thr 60.00 a day fee for parking, and room service was a complete a suprise. I was under the assumption that I could pay directly for parking....however, the hotel put a hold on my debit card for services I didn't use...for example, room service. It will take 3-5 business days to receive my refund. That caught me off guard and caused my finances to be tight for a few days until I could move money around at my bank. I wish I had been aware of these charges.

The Jung hotel opened during the Jazz Age with live music offerings and quickly became the most prestigious hotel in New Orleans. Through the years, the hotels most famous attribute was its rooftop Tulane Ballroom which played host to numerous Mardi Gras balls, grand cotillions, proms and a 1964 appearance by President Lyndon Johnson.Today the Jung Hotel anchors Upper Canal Street and sits at the heart of the areas resurgence.

Pros: The hotel was newly renovated with large open spaces and modern finishes. The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating for both a business traveler and a leisure trip.
Cons: While the hotel is new & modern with open spaces and large rooms it seems to be lacking warmth. For example the lights in the rooms were VERY BRIGHT with no dim levels, the floors are completely tile - no carpet or rugs so the room felt stark. Similar feel in the common spaces - for example the bar wasn’t open during the afternoon (IN NEW ORLEANS) and it seems the bar was the only popular space in the lobby area. The overall aesthetics are pleasing but something is just lacking. The management should really figure it out because the space is too nice not to be enjoyed by a high end clientele.

Pros: This was a hotel we had never stayed at before and I took a chance and it paid off. The hotel was updated, clean and very modern.
Cons: The location is on Canal but at the other end of Canal, so unless ur an avoid walker take an Uber or Lyft.
"Located in French Quarter, this historic hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde and French Market. Canal Street and National World War II Museum are also within 2 mi (3 km). New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal is 28 minutes by foot. "

Cons: The ONLY issue we had was the sensitivity of the room keys. We had to have them remagnetized every day sometimes numerous times in a day.

Pros: - Location, location, location. Traveled with a friend and this was incredibly convenient to everything we wanted to do in NOLA. I'd absolutely bring bikes if you have the means, makes the city a lot more accessible and reduces transportation issues. - Pool - Staff was awesome, very accommodating even at the last minute - it's clear that they all like their jobs - Stored our bikes in the room downstairs so they didn't take up space in the smaller room and the doormen were always available to open it up for us. Before we found this out they kept our car in a gated lot close by to make sure our bikes were safe on the car.
Cons: - Free drinks at bar are slightly misleading... Not a total scam but just make sure you want well liquor and add up the cost prior to making it a double with "premium" liquor. - Valet can be slow but they did give a heads up that it would take 40 minutes at some times. - Depending on where you are in the hotel you may have a way to walk down the halls to your room but this isn't really a big deal. - Truly not that bad - if I HAD to pick bad things this is what I remember but I would absolutely stay there again.

Pros: Staying on the corner of Bourbon Street and Orleans St was perfect. The staff was very friendly, including valet and bellman. We didn't ask for much, but we were given a lot. The free drink at check in certainly didn't hurt! I also really liked the beautiful area in front of check in. It reminded me if a formal living room, and any time I stopped to sit in there I met other guests. It was just so homey.
Cons: I didn't like the parking fee. I booked through Trip Advisor and it said parking, but nothing about the extra fee. I think it was more the surprise of it that kind of bothered me. Also, I'm not certain the air was working. It wasn't hot, but it wasn't cool either. That said, we never mentioned it to the staff, given we were only in the room to sleep, so I think they would have fixed it or moved us had they known.

Pros: Right by Bourbon St room was clean and nicely appointed great central courtyard with pool
Cons: Location makes it noisy rooms on one side were noisy to a non-stop generator terrible pillows no room service uninformed staff (front desk not aware there was no room service, housekeeping not clear whether feather pillows existed... isn't this a basic requirement in most hotels? plastic mattress cover - I guess too many people enjoy the party atmosphere too much & they have mattress issues!

Pros: The room was giant
Cons: The place was shabby, even the uniforms were cheap. The hotel bar closed at 12:30, the room service was from like 4-10 and was provided by a third party, in the morning I called for a sprit and it took FOREVER for it come. I paid 450 for that room. I should have been at the Four Seasons level.

Pros: The location was the best feature of this hotel, footsteps from both bourbon and royal stress dead center of french qtr. The staff was friendly and helpful. If it was warmer when we stayed I bet the pool area would have been a nice place to kick back.
Cons: We were a bit surprised that there wasn't a snack bar in the room. or at least a little fridge with some drinks. The rooms seem a bit dated as did the bed linens but not a big deal.

6.5
Pros: I loved the location of the hotel the staff was courteous and friendly. The in hotel restaurant had good food but was a bit pricey. Our room was clean, I am a picky person so it met my standards.
Cons: I thought some areas could have had better house keeping. Large dust bunnies were all over the floor near the stairs. The main area that was traveled by the guests were kept cleaner. But most importantly I didn't like that they permitted a drunken homeless person to sleep outside of the hotel doors, not a good first impression for many guests.

Pros: The hotel was amazing. I went through Kayak and found this hotel with great reviews and $100 under our budget! When we walked in, the lobby was cute, perfectly decorated, and had the New Orleans feel we were looking for *cough*we're tourist*cough*. We were greeted by Lonny the bellman, who wouldn't let us lift a finger with our bags. He even gave us some free wine vouchers for a near by café. Check in was standard with no wait time and a friendly front desk staff. There is a small pool and patio area if you wanted to take a quick dip (by small pool, it is incredibly small, but still nice to have as an option). This hotel is cute, clean, and has the New Orleans experience with just a quick walk to Bourbon St, Café Du Monde, amazing shops in the French Quarter.
Cons: Since we were driving from across country, we had an entire SUV packed with professional camera equipment, expensive camping gear, and pretty healthy supply of clothes etc. We were concerned about street parking and were told that if we valet our car with the hotel, it would be in a garage, 24 hour surveillance, and returned to us in the exact same condition we left it in. We thought "it's only $15 more than parking across the street, and we will have piece of mind" so we went with the valet. We remove our luggage for the night, brought in the camera gear (thank god) and carried on with our New Orleans experience as they drove our car off to the garage. Being a typical girl, I realized I left something in the car and asked the front desk if I could either walk to the car or have it brought around. She gave me quick directions and I headed to the parking garage. When I approached the booth in the garage, the gentlemen working pointed to the pay lot across the street, and handed me the keys. I was confused because it was just a $20 over night pay lot that we could have easily used instead of paying $15 more for the "garage" we were told our car would be in. I grabbed my items, double checked all the doors were locked, and took the keys back to the employees in the booth. When I got back to the hotel, I told my boyfriend about the differences in what we were told we were getting and what we actually got as far as parking went. We both agreed that there must be some reason for it and that the garage was full or they would move the car at some point. 8AM: Our hotel phone rings. The supervisor of the parking garage was calling to let us know he was ready to take our car to the shop to have the windows replaced. You can imagine our confusion, seeing as we had gone to bed late and had partaken in what New Orleans had to offer, IE we were hung over and had no idea what was going on. We get dressed and head down to meet with the garage supervisor who informed us that between 3-5am the driver's and passenger side windows had been broken and it looked like items were removed from the car. We head over and look over everything. Sure enough, it was in the same spot it had been the night before, sans two windows. It only looked like some center console change and our GPS had been taken(which was in a locked glove box). The parking garage paid for everything to be replaced that had been taken, and replaced the windows. Our plan was to leave at 12pm after some beignets from Café Du Monde, but ended up having to stay until 6pm waiting for the car to be fixed. Of course our room and valet charges were comped, and the staff acted accordingly, it was just an unfortunate situation that could have been avoided if the front desk had the real information regarding where their guests' vehicles were actually parked. Take what you will from this. Be it, sh*t happens and you move on, or it was a nice stay, something bad happened, and the hotel did the best they could.

Pros: For the price, the inn provides access to the French Quarter, into which I went for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and nightlife. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and eager to help. The room and inn have that French Quarter feel (e.g., courtyard, exposed brick, tall windows). The room was comfortable except for one point. The shower was glass, not a curtain, and was nice for such an inexpensive room. My friends who stayed at the same conference were jealous that I was staying in classier accommodations than they for the same or less!
Cons: My room on the first floor had no weather strip on the bottom of the door and suffered a draft. Once plugged with a spare blanket, however, the room was cozy. Also, the electrical cords for the television were rather lazily slung over the TV itself. It looked shabby.

Pros: I wanted an authentic New Orleans French market experience and that's exactly what I got at the French market inn. Everything was perfect. It was historical, right across the street from the Riverwalk, two blocks down from Bourbon Street, Clean, safe, right across the street from Cafe Du Monde. We decided that we would stay here every time we came to New Orleans.
Cons: It was nothing that I didn't like. I'm used to stay and four star hotels so I had to adjust to the boutique feel of the room, but I bet it was comfortable and the atmosphere was authentic and great.

Pros: We were super close to Bourbon St but never heard it- which was great! We had an interior room with no windows which I was a little apprehensive about booking at first but it proved to be the best idea ever! After getting in to town early in the morning and wandering around a lot, it was great to ha e a quiet, dark room for an afternoon nap. Pros: Location of this unique hotel was second to none. Hotel was well presented. Decor in keeping with its location. The room was very clean and well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. Pros: I really enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the historic feel of the room with brick walls. I was skeptical at first about renting a room with no windows, but it exceeded my expectations and wasn't as sketchy as imagined. There were plenty of lamps to substitute the natural lighting. The staff was very friendly. They greeted everyone who passed through the lobby with a smile and were helpful with suggesting local places to eat. Great location for the french quarter experience.
Cons: I felt as if the carpet in my room had not been cleaned or vacuumed before my stay. There was obvious staining and debris visible. I am glad I brought slippers. It seems as if the cleaning of the rooms could be more detailed as there were trash under/behind the dresser and side table.

Pros: Beautiful, totally updated and high tech. Not overly luxurious but nice and super comfy rooms. Great gym facility and pool looked nice but we didn't venture down there. Can get busy with conferences and hear it's busy during football home games. Decent location if you don't mind walking. Street car stops right outside hotel which is mostly convenient unless it's running late or comes early. If it's busy (people buying tix, traffic) it can take a while longer than anticipated to get to your destination. We walked back from the French Quarter a few times...not a bad walk, probably around a mile. The location was fine for us but may not be for everyone. For the great rate we got for the amenities, the trade offs were worth it. All staff members were super nice, super accommodating and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs.

Pros: The hotel was great. I travel a lot and this was one of the nicer places I have been.
Cons: The only two negotive things I have to say would be. 1) the breakfast buffet wasn't worth the $21. It's the same mass produced powdered egg bacon pancakes....that you get at crapy hotels for free. There is a omlet station and a big selection of pastries and fruit but I'm a eggs an bacon guy and it was horiable. The second negative I have is dependent. I stayed there for Mardi Gras and they shut down a lot of streets, so you have to walk because the taxis won't and can't take you down town. and its a long walk to Burbon street. It is located right next to the stadium if that's where you are going.

Pros: The room was very comfortable to be in. The bed was comfy and lighting was calming. Very little hallway noise and never heard the neighboring rooms. All the staff I encountered was friendly and courteous.
Cons: The bathroom was a little dirty, some mold growing in the crevice of the shower door. A soap wrapper was left in the bathroom from the last guest. Nothing too major though. Only other complaint would be how confusing it is to get from the main lobby to the room elevators and the parking garage. The signage isnt all that handy as in some areas the main lobby isn't mentioned at all, either is the parking garage. It's especially frustrating with the arbitrarily named conference halls displayed all over.

Pros: NA
Cons: I called 15 minutes after checking out because I left an item in my fridge and I was told my room hadn’t been cleaned yet so it should have been found. I later went to pick up my item at around 11:30 and since housekeeping wasn’t there no one had access to the lost and found. I had no update on my item and housekeeping never checked it in even though no one else had access to my room.

Pros: Was nice hotel - not much really close to the hotel but the french quarter is in walking distance.
Cons: our AC broke one night so it was 80+ degrees in the room and we had to wait up for an hour at 2am to get someone from the hotel staff to reset the thermostat. There was also quite a bit of road noise, even up at the 10th floor - was woken up by a garbage truck in the middle of the night.
"Located in French Quarter, this spa hotel is steps away from Canal Street and Bourbon Street. Royal Street and Saenger Theatre are also within 5 minutes. New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal is 19 minutes by foot. "

Cons: We found a roach in our room the first day. When we told the woman at the front desk, she was nice and apologetic, but said it happens when there's rain. I understand, having dealt with roach in my apartment, but asked her to have the room sprayed, and wondered why that wasn't the default answer. The water stank. It smelled like putrid pond water, like it came from the river or Lake Ponchartrain. It was hard water too, so rinsing in the sink or shower is a long chore that never seems possible to finish. I believe this is what made the tub slimy and slippery. It didn't appear dirty, but it was impossible to stand in the shower without a wash cloth underfoot. The hotel is located on the 2nd-6th floors in the Ritz Carlton. The Ritz locks their doors in the evening, but the key readers don't allow Courtyard guests in, so you need to go around the block to get inside. Either way, it's a maze of elevators, since you always need to take at least 2 elevators to get to your room. The Ritz spa smells like an over-chlorinated YMCA pool, and permeates the entire lower floor. Coupled with the arctic air conditioning, coming in from the outside is a violent jolt with a mild burning sensation in the nose. And it's $25/person/day for the privilege of immersing yourself in the water.

Pros: Nice suite style room, good staff, location
Cons: They were performing some work to the facade of the hotel. At 9:00 am they were literally right outside our room pounding with hammers. I looked out the window and a worker on scaffolding was right outside of our window. Had my girlfriend been in a state of disrobe, he would have been able to tell were all of her freckles are. 9:00am....on a Saturday....in New Orleans....in the Quarter. I had been out late drinking the night before, so you can imagine a 9:00 wake up call with a hammer was most unexpected....and un-welcome. No mention of the construction was made during our check in.

Pros: The location was great: close enough to Bourbon and Canal Streets so I was near the action, but removed enough so that noise was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had very good water pressure.
Cons: Housekeeping heads for the hills around 2 or so, so if your room is made by then you are out of luck.

Pros: My friends and I ended up here last minute when our original plans to stay somewhere else didn't pan out. We were a little stressed when we got there given that we were far from home in California and had to find this place last minute in an unknown city. But from the valet to the front desk, the staff was super friendly and helpful and made it so easy for us. Our room was clean and well decorated. In fact, the whole hotel is very nice and a great value for your money. On top of that, it's in the perfect location in the French quarter. if I ever find myself in New Orleans again, I'll definitely be staying here.
Cons: There was only one thing and very minor. Being that it is the French quarter and so close to bourbon street, my friends and I had a late night. We knew we were going to want to sleep in and take our time getting ready in the morning, so I called the front desk to see about a late check-out. They said It was perfectly fine we just had to put the do not disturb sign on the door and be out by 1. At 10:45, housekeeping came knocking on the door. We yelled no thank you and then we could hear her talking to another employee about how we weren't supposed to be there. Then at 12:30, they came back again as we were preparing to leave. It wasn't a huge deal, but I think maybe the late check-out policy should be better communicated with the cleaning staff.

Pros: I loved the location and the staff !! They were very polite and helpful.
Cons: I am not very wealthy and decided to spend my money on kayak.com and New Orleans rather than fly to another city. There was a rather high fee on the site and then the hotel charged 130$ (incredibly high amount ) to park at there facilty ... other lots were just as expensive and not guaranteed safe. It was just disappointing bc I saved up and felt like those costs were hidden and should have been included in the cost of the hotel.

Pros: It's location in the French Quarter, but off of Bourbon Street.
Cons: The hotel overbooked and relocated us to a sister facility in Covington, 26 miles away, for our first night! This was extremely inconvenient and obviously not where we wanted to be. They said they would not charge us for that night, but I have not yet received the credit. This was the least they could do, yet they did not offer any other compensation. It will definitely make me think twice before booking another stay with Marriott.

Pros: It's the attention to detail that left us with a lasting favorable impression. Each employee of the hotel was very polite and at the top of their game at every brief interaction. It was a brief stay and what created the lasting impression was when we were departing the hotel a bellman made sure to tell us Good Morning, how nice is was to have us, and to have a wonderful day. We could have made it out the door without him saying much but he made sure to tell us these things with conviction and we felt that it wasn't just lip service. Pros: * Staff was very helpful, sorted out a room mixup quickly and appropriately, and compensated us for our time waiting * Fantastic pool and view from the roof, the rooftop bar was great * Really a perfect location - about two blocks from Bourbon made it close enough to the street to feel like you're in the bustle, but far enough away to recover after a long night in peace * We were able to get a great value for the room. * Hospitality staff restocked our room's ice and bottled water every night
Cons: * Super small room, was not able to fit a single cot in the room without moving the dresser * Bed barely fit two people. * Slightly misleading depending on the website you book on, "Double" or "Queen" in our case meant a single bed, and assumedly the same room * Tiny bathroom. Towels were forced under the sink. * Bar closed earlier than I would have expected

Pros: The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. Everyone I spoke with wanted to make sure we were taken care of and it felt like they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. I had a small reception for my wedding at The Redfish Grill that's attached to the hotel and it was a great experience. I believe our waitress was Anne or Anna and she was very kind, personable, and provided the best service possible. I would definitely recommend this Hyatt to someone looking to stay in NOLA.
Cons: The only con I have for the hotel is the Powdered Sugar cafe attached to the hotel. My husband and I didn't get our orders on time (in a busy setting, I would understand. There were only two or three other tables seated) and what we did get was continually incorrect with no apology or explanation. At some point my plate was taken from me without saying anything with my fork still on it where I had dropped it. Overpriced for what it is.

Pros: My girlfriend and I went there for Mardi Gras, and it was ideally located - near all of the parades, but far away from the French Quarter that we didn't get a bunch of drunk idiots yelling (although it still sometime happened, which is not the hotel's fault). That being said, it is within 5 minutes walking distance of the middle of the French Quarter. The room was small but very nice (the building is 100 years old). It was also very clean and the staff was overall friendly. For Mardi Gras they give you a wrist band so you can come into the hotel late at night (although they were a bit spotty on checking). Overall, a good place to stay (if you don't mind driving through the one-way streets of downtown New Orleans). You could do a lot worse, especially for Mardi Gras. 4/5 stars.
Cons: The hotel said it had valet parking, but during Mardi Gras they appeared not to - I had to drive myself to a parking lot 3 blocks away, pay $25 a night to park AND wake up by 9AM to go feed the meter. This seemed a bit unreasonable to me, and it would've been nice if the hotel had let us know beforehand. The continental breakfast is a hotel continental breakfast - mediocre. They had two waffle makers, cereal, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs one day and scrambled eggs the next, and the typically assortment of OJ, Apple Juice, pastries, bagels, tea, coffee, etc. We were told it opened at 5 AM, but found that it was closer to 7AM. Very annoying if you want to wake up early or needed to leave early.

Pros: Like? Its 3 blocks from Bourbon St. I normally stay in hotels much closer for just a few dollars more. There was nothing to like about this run down, disgusting place. I only gave it a chance because it was a last minute trip and this one popped up in my search. It is disguised as a pretty, boutique hotel...don't be fooled. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The first night getting off the elevator we had to walk thru vomit to get to our room, not the hotel's fault by any means, however clean up took forever. The double beds, extremely small and old. The pillows, I can't describe, something from the stone age. The bathroom, water leak above shower head in ceiling tiles, apparent water leak under floor tiles. Disgusting smell and stayed wet the entire stay. The second morning, we realized the puke was the least of the hotels problems. The hall carpet between our room and the adjoining room was squishy wet...and the smell was unbelievable. This wasn't a "just happened" issue, they were prepared with a blower just outside our door to dry the carpet. It's not going to dry until the leaks are fixed.. Overall, for the money, pay extra and go elsewhere.

Cons: Pool was closed and hotel was under construction. 30 plus bucks for valet. That being said i would still recommend the hotel

Pros: I liked the location because it was on the periphery of the French Quarter. It was within easy walking distance of tourist sites, but in a quiet area. The room was average size, attractive. Our room looked out, not to the street, but to the attractive courtyard, where the heated pool was located. Staff were accommodating.
Cons: Uber drivers seem to have trouble getting onto this section of Toulouse Street. It does not have much seating in the lobby. If you need a place to sit and wait after checkout, this is pretty tight.

Pros: It's right in the midst of the French Quarter, so everything is a close enough walk. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained and has a great Southern vibe to it. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, including offering up great places nearby to go to. I'd absolutely go back.

Pros: Had such a fun time here. The pool is a beautiful area to sit outside. Happy hour in the afternoon is perfect because they come out to the pool to serve you. The room was completely fine with a large bathroom. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for walking around the French quarter!
Cons: We wish there was a refrigerator in our room.

Cons: The valet was expensive. And it if you needed your car or something out of it, it was very difficult/

Pros: About 2 blocks from bourbon street. Clean facility. Comfy beds.
Cons: Way overpriced. $40/day valet parking only. Car valet attendant was exceptionally rude and condescending. Outdated facility. Rooms did not look like the pictures online. Didn’t have a jacuzzi in the room like it showed online, when we asked the front desk, they just laughed at us.

Pros: Location in French Quarter was ideal. Atmosphere pleasant.
Cons: Check in took hours waiting for a cleaned room. Restaurant at breakfast was understaffed and it took 45 minutes to take our order. And not even offered a second cup of coffee. Poor way to start a day!!
Good

Cons: It was advertised online as a haunted hotel. When we got there the staff knew nothing about it being haunted. Wedding going on at pool and music was very loud in our room
Excellent
9.7
Pros: Honestly the staff is wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. The pool area is also a wonderful plus. It's so rare in that area and a definite plus to have a place to relax outside of the hectic that is bourbon street.
Cons: The only thing that I didn't love were the elevators. They were older and a bit rickety. I think they could improve those for a smoother ride
Good
7.7
Pros: Everything was in walking distance. Taxi was easy to get for location not close
Cons: We were not given a heads up that hotel was under construction. Private party was not well coordinated to the point that the guest were a burden and loud to our stay

Pros: Great location. The floor was surprisingly comfortable. The cleaning staff was very nice and tolerant of our shenanigans. The bartender downstairs was super sweet...she continued to give us alcohol even when we totally should have been cut off. The luggage valet made an excellent skateboard. The concierge was very helpful although he kept trying to sell us on signing up our group on a swamp tour with 30 minutes notice...there was no way we would be able to gather our group that quickly even if we weren't highly intoxicated. Also, he seemed irritated when we suggested they allow us to drive fan boats as a part of the tour.
Cons: Our lamp was broken and glued back together. "The bathroom doesn't work right," kept being mentioned throughout our stay. Not enough towels to make a decent blanket. Would have liked a vent in the bathroom to filter out "unpleasant" scents. The pool had way too much chlorine but it makes sense with all the urine that is released on a daily basis...maybe post a sign that reads "No urinating in pool."

Pros: Great location. Close to restaurants and nightlife. Fabulous Staff. Try Restaurant R'evolution, it was a fabulous experience.
Cons: Currently the hotel is renovating. Our room was near the construction area, so it made the visit less than optimal and not our normal Sonesta experience. I look forward to a future visit once the renovations are completed.

Pros: The lobby area was nice and the bellman were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The room was lacking basic items like bath towels, coffee cups. We were “upgraded” to a suite which had a queen spring with a twin mattress with the springs sticking out so we were unable to use this for our kids but still had to pay the upgrade price. Therefore the “upgrade” did not provide us with any additional sleeping space. The room door key did not work because they had to charge the lock. The concierge desk was impossible to reach to get towels, sheets, ect. It would just ring and go to voicemail. We tried to order food from the in house restaurant and they directed us to their in room menu which did not exist. Our room was two levels with an exit door on each level. I asked if they could deliver our sheets to the second level because we may not hear the knock on the first level and they said they were unable to go to the second level, even though this is a normal hotel floor with a normal hallway door entry so I was confused by this. Many of these issues are likely because they are short staffed with COVID-19 and hopefully will be improved.

Pros: I will say that my first impression of the hotel was very positive. We arrived at 9:00 am, hoping for a place to leave our luggage until we could check in. You can only imagine how pleasantly surprised we were when told that our room was already available. We went to our room and were very happy to have a great view from our room. The Mississippi is truly a major waterway. The hotel is on a very quiet side street and connects directly onto Canal Street, and is edging the French Quarter. We made use of the trolleys on Canal to connect to the French Market and the Garden District. There are many great restaurants and night spots within an easy walk, and great shopping very nearby. There is a very large Casino across the street. Unfortunately we were only there two nights but will definitely go back.

Pros: We only stayed one night but the staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. They let us check in early and gave us drink tickets for the hotel bar May Bailey's, even giving us an extra ticket since there were 3 of us. The bartender at May Bailey's was great too, very amiable, and told us the history of the bar and humored my friend when he asked about ghosts. When we came back late at night and were taking pictures, one of the staff recommended a good view from the second floor balcony if we liked pictures. The beds were heaven. I didn't even want to leave the room, those beds were soooo comfortable! Breakfast in the morning was pretty good with lots of options, better than any continental I've ever had. We had a wonderful time, only wish we had been able to stay longer! In future trips to NOLA, I will definitely be staying at the Dauphine Orleans again.

Pros: The location was great for Mardi Gras!
Cons: I booked a room more than 6 months in advance. After I booked, I called the hotel directly because I needed a roll away bed. They said no problem, because I had booked an oversized room. Then, about a month prior to my trip I called them directly again to ensure that I would have a roll away bed. The person that I spoke to said that they would put a note in my account - which they did. When I got to the hotel to check in I was told that they did NOT have a roll away bed available because it’s a “first come first serve” basis. I had 5 people in a room with 2 beds, and no where to put that 5th person!! So we paid $566 PER NIGHT for someone to sleep on the floor because nobody told me either time that I called that they could not guarantee a roll away bed!!! I will be contacting corporate about this.

Pros: We arrived at the hotel just before midnight on St Patrick's day. The area was still very much lively with St Patty's festivities. This gave us a chance to quickly check in (with friendly and helpful staff!!), drop off our bags and check out Bourbon St, which was the cross street of the intersection where the hotel is located. Bourbon St is what it is, but the hotel's prime location made it really easy to explore part of the French Quarter in the wee hours of the night feeling safe walking around.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms. Decent price if you wanna be right in the middle of all the fun.

Pros: The Hotel is very conveniently situated a block from the French Quarter, very close to Bourbon St, Harrad's Casino and within a short walking distance of numerous New OrleansHotel is very clean and modern, and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to get visitors situated in the room , while caring for everyone's needs. All this despite the crush of Mardis Gras crowds. For me, I really appreciated getting into my room 3 1/2 hrs ahead of check in. Since 2009, I've stayed here about a dozen times at various times of the year, and each visit has been excellent.
Cons: They charge a daily Amenity / Spa fee of $11.9r. Previous years, it has been as high as almost $22 a day. Thier Spa is a tiny workout room and a tiny business center ( a computer desk, telephone and a desktop PC, tucked away somewhere in the building. Never been used by me.

Pros: The location of the hotel was great and everything was stylish and clean. The price was very economical and staff was courteous and helpful.

Pros: It was close to french quarter, the ac was amazing, it was close to canal st without being right on it. the hotel was nice looking and the little workout room had good equipment in it but limited.
Cons: The elevator broke and we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs, the staff was kinda rude when they over changed us for parking, the maid didn't empty our trash and we had to bring it down ourselves bc the food started smelling, the entrance to the hotel is on a road where at night there are many homeless and shady people it's kind of scary, so you end up walking around the longer way to avoid it, there is only beverage vending in the workout room, the being and curtains had stains on them.

Cons: When I showed up my reservation had been canceled. I was on the phone for over a hour trying to get things straight. We were finally put in a room after they told us there were no more rooms available. The room we were put smelled awful clearly people had been smoking in it all night long. They ended up moving us to another new room. We ended up missing our dinner reservation, making our friends wait, and were late to the event we were there for. Overall the worse hotel experience I have ever had.

Pros: Room seemed clean, had a mini fridge and microwave and a nice office area.
Cons: The parking situation is ridiculous. They have a small lot that you can park in for free if there's room, but if not you have to park in the hospital parking for like $18/night. Why can't the hotel clear a deal with the hospital and let guests stay in their garage without expense?

Pros: The hotel is ideally located on Canal Street. It is close enough to the French Quarter, that a walk takes about 15 minutes, but far enough that you do not have the noise, the dirt, or the crowds.
Cons: It was agony trying to get information about parking. It took several attempts to get someone to answer the phone. The first employee was not helpful. I called a second time and got someone who gave me the phone number for the parking garage. I called the garage number, and the agent gave me the address and the rates, which was my original purpose.

Cons: PILLOWS WERE TOOOOO SMALL.: We travel a lot & never saw some pillows that small. look like sofa throw pillows. Towels: but NO wash rags the following day(I'm sure they would have supplied sum if I'd called but we travel with some. PRICE: We paid $209.00 per nite & the Marriot few blocks away was $239, I know bc family stay there....

Pros: I like the location , that it was right on canal. There was security that was very helpful but that’s all . The room was very nice
Cons: We could not check into the hotel until 4pm , that all day, there was not enough maids so we could get check in. When we finally could the room that I booked was unavailable! Pros: I loved that it was walking distances to Bourbon Street, Walking distances to shopping centers and an awesome location for transit transportation. The Trolley drop off and pick you up right outside of the hotel and it's very cheap. $3 for a 24 HR riding pass. I love the price of the hotel and the fact that they allowed my check out to be at 12pm when asked.
Cons: I didn't like that the hotel didn't have continental Breakfast as its stated during online registration

Cons: The place has cleanliness issue. It’s not filthy, but it needed to be a lot better. Fining other people’s hair and q-tips in the bathroom was not pleasant. The elevators were pretty run down (chipped off chunks of tile, mirrors on which the the reflective backing was worn out long before the hotel opened). The room was tiny and the windows had some dog brown gunk (tar?) splattered across the outside. The price was ok but not amazing. Certainly not cheap enough to make up for the issues.

Cons: having to pay for parking and I paid to stay at the hotel, unorganized breakfast setup - long lines and slow food coming out, slow elevators - long wait to catch one
