Pros: Very clean room. Super hosts. Delicious breakfast. Walking distance to several restaurants, grocery store, Walgreens, and a gym.
Cons: Parking was a little tight, but we did not have any problem getting a spot. The host made sure to have an alternate parking spot if we needed, but during our stay we were always able to get a spot In front of the inn.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff and owners were absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. They consistently exceeded our expectations, be it via food, conversation, the room, etc.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The ambience and home-warm feeling was amazing. Also breakfast and all the great tips for getting around NOLA
Cons: Just a Little bit far from downtown.
Good 7.0
Pros: location had numerous restaurants within walking distance. room was very large. hot breakfast only available 8:30 to 9:00 but yogurt, rolls, etc. were available 24 hours. parking was free and close. room was very clean.
Cons: more street noise than I expected.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved the area the Rose Manor Inn was in!!!! It was such a treasure to find!!!! It was tucked away from all the noise of the Bourbon Street and French Quarter but only a $12 Uber ride to them! The BnB was delightful with all of the amazing antiques and charming local paintings from NOLA artists. The hosts are amazing!!!! They know all about the city and the places to go and not go! We felt like we were at home with a five star chef! The coffee they served was the best (cafe du monde) and the breakfast was indicative of all the scrumptious NOLA dishes. The places to eat are located all around the BnB; fabulous hot local spots!!! The brunch at Russels Marina Grill was to die for!!!! The flounder stuffed with crab at the Blue Crab was fabulous. The chargrilled oysters at Felix’s the best I have ever had!!!! All of these places are located a block from the BnB.
Cons: Loved everything.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The very homely atmosphere, quiet and safe location, spacious room with comfy king bed. Most of all the super friendly and helpful owners, Peter and Ruby. Easy to get to the heart of New Orleans by bus and Streetcar but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Walk along the lake and good choice of restaurants nearby.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Peter and Ruby were wonderful hosts! Made us a delicious breakfast to start the day.

Pros: The staff was exceptional. They went out of they’re way to ensure our comfort! The room was gorgeous and the food was delicious. There is a street car stop right outside.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It reminded me of an old vintage Louisiana property without being in the mix of drunken craziness of the French Quarter. It was close to everything. There were some amazing mom and pop restaurants within walking distance. The tram was right outage the property to get down into the French quarter.
Cons: Absolutely nothing! I loved everything
Good 7.4
Pros: I really enjoyed the house itself, all the historic detail that has been preserved over the years. The room and bathroom were a good size.
Cons: The bed was terrible, the mattress was very old and lumpy, had a squeaky bed frame and pillows were not comfortable at all. Also, the lack of a ceiling fan made the room stuffy.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Owner and her assistant were awesome. Perfect stay. Wonderful breakfast, lovely furnishings.
Cons: When booking on line, cheaper rooms are in renovated section, spacious, comfortable yet modern and "sterile" If you want historic, upgrade to older sections.

Pros: Everything! Patricia and Tom are the best hosts - warmly welcoming, easily and always accessible by phone or at the house, thoughtful in anticipating your needs and having solutions and recommendations, seeking your feedback and genuinely wanting you to enjoy your time with them. And the house they have created shows all the love they have poured into it - not just in its comfort but it's decoration and general ambience. I especially loved the Christmas decorations - nothing else I've seen in the US comes near them for beauty and taste. Now I wonder what they'll offer us for our last breakfast...
Cons: There was nothing not to like!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Maison Perrier is located in the peaceful Garden District of New Orleans, about 30 minutes by public transport from the French Quarter. The house is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight - delicious and freshly made. Tom and Patricia were excellent hosts and gave very helpful tips on what to do in the local area and where to eat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners and staff were very friendly, hospitable, and made everyone feel very welcome. The breakfasts were awesome every morning !

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location close to trolley
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Elegant Bed and Breakfast. The owners are terrific hosts and make a breakfast to die for. I'm heading to the gym to burn off the extra calories. It's located a few blocks from several fantastic restaurants too. The trolley isn't running presently but the bus service is reliable.

Pros: Brent the host was outstanding. PERSONABLE and a good cook also
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.1
Pros: The rooms were renovated from an 1890 past. Very well furnished with period Furniture. But We had no seating area in our room #1. The host held a large party on the last night of our 3-day stay which went until 1 AM breaking their own 10 PM curfew for quiet by guests. The property has two large dogs who are beautiful but if you have allergies from dog dander you will have a problem as my wife did. Very beautiful but steep centre staircase. If you have trouble climbing stairs this is not the place for you.
Cons: See above
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, beautifully decorated and amazing breakfasts
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and staff was amazing. Brent made sure we had fabulous breakfast each morning. Larry was always helpful with local information and lists of places to visit.
Excellent 10.0

Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great decor, perfect ambiance for the holiday season. Loved the breakfast! Every day was something different. And the table setting was beautiful. The property manager and owner were both amazing hosts. There were some great restaurants in walking distance, and we felt safe walking our friends home at night, who were staying close by. Not the most touristy part of town, but this is really where people live and if you want a good night sleep, it's nice and quiet in comparison to the french quarter.
Cons: I really had no complaints about this place. We really enjoyed our stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hosts, great location and a great experience all around! Best breakfast in town!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful facility, in heart of New Orleans a block from the trolley and many great local restaurants. The Staff was very welcoming and friendly - we will stay there again whenever in New Orleans.

Pros: The location was good. The room was large and clean. There is free parking and good wifi. So all in all a very decent hotel.
Cons: Breakfast was quite basic. The hotel is near a hospital. I went there for work, so it was fine, but it is not an easy walking distance from the classical tourist attraction.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly, trusting, helpful staff. Secure parking (very important since I had a rental vehicle). Modern facility that was kept exceptionally clean. Room size was unusually large. Neighborhood felt secure.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hotel, nice room, very clean, good breakfast
Okay 5.0
Pros: great location. off street parking.
Cons: this hotel has very heavy doors. And if you are light sleeper and/or not a fan of noise and happen to get a room next to or close by a guest that is coming in and out of their rooms often during the day and night with those doors slaming shut behind them...not sooo pleasant
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Hotel was nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and were even able to give us an early check in. We would stay here again and recommend this place to our friends. Location is super convenient. It’s really close to all the hip little places. It’s only about 5-7 mim away from magazine street.
Cons: One really minor thing ideas the breakfast. Of course it’s free which is awesome but it was the same thing both days. Maybe change it up? Regardless it was still very tasty.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Rooms were quite nice and very clean. Liked the fact that we did not have to pay for parking. Also liked that it included free breakfast.
Cons: Not the best location. Would have preferred downtown.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nathan, Joe, and Lisa are amazing. I didn't get to interact much with anyone else. But people like them make this place amazing. Thanks for an amazing first for me in NOLA.
Cons: If you cant sleep with other who may snore. This may not be fore you. Dorm style anyway. But if you drink enough, you'll be good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Kristen, Joe, and Devin were amazing hosts. Lisa makes the best food. We were in a great location and in the high season I reckon this place would go off.
Cons: Shower pressure was a little weak but at least it was not cold. Saw a bug or two but I think that's just the city.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The property was huge. Different types of rooms, all with different styles and decor. Joe checking us in was friendly, helpful and had great recommendations for city activities.
Cons: Saw a roach but hey it’s happens. Not a big deal
Mediocre 2.5
Cons: Horrible night staying there. Bathrooms dirty. Besides you have to share bathroom with everybody... Smell of the bedroom horrible... Hairs in the sheets... Poor light in the bedroom, the door doesn't close completely. Too much money to be sharing bathroom.! Plus. I didn't receive my refund. Only stayed one night. The other three nights try didn't return the money

Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating. The place had an antique feel without feeling stuffy. It was located about 30 minutes from major attractions, but close to public transportation.
Cons: Breakfast was limited to bagels and spreads and drinks, but at least there were different types of bagels. A waffle iron and fresh fruit would be a good addition.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: I like the attention and information that personal gave me about the city .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hostel was extremely clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I also liked the fact that the hostel sent us some tips for the stay. It helped is a great deal since it was a first time experience for us.
Cons: Price for 2 nights was $15-$20 more than I would have liked to pay.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very clean, attentive staff, morning coffee, everything you want from a hostel.
Cons: Beds weren’t the most comfortable, but it’s not terrible. Not a deal breaker by any means.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: I loved the family atmosphere of this hostel. Also lots of bathrooms, lots of common areas to take advantage of and in general a very cool building to get to explore over the time we were in NOLA. Also, we drove from Ohio and got there a bit earlier than check in and they still were able to accommodate that, giving us towels to shower and letting us chill in the common areas while the room was finished up. Overall this experience was great and we will for sure be back to Site 61 in the future.
Cons: Not well ventilated, there were box fans in the rooms to accommodate that but I still felt like our room just got a little too stuffy at times. We also had one encounter with a staff member that was not pleasant but other than that everyone there was great, including the other guests.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Stayed here few times, Susan the desk staff who works in the morning is very nice, will come back sometime again
Excellent 9.4
Pros: You would not know it by the sort of average photos that I saw on-line, but Site 61 was better in many ways than I expected. I hadn't stayed in a hostel for many years, so was not sure what I would find for such a (compared to hotels) low price. What I found was a well-run hostel operated by a kind and personable staff, a half dozen immaculate (and seemingly brand new) bathrooms (clean toilets, showers with great water pressure and warm water) and rooms that were also clean. i also enjoyed chatting with the staff in the mornings before I headed out for my day. Love this place !
Cons: I don't love bunk beds, but who does? Just one of the things one must deal with when staying in a hostel. But as far as bunk beds go, mine was comfortable!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staying at Site 61 gave me the chance to see parts of New Orleans I might have not done otherwise!! It's situated in a suburban area - So if you want to experience the atmosphere of the true New Orleans you're in the right place. Not that you would realise from first impressions, but there are great bars, restaurants and cafes nearby, within walking distance. An opportunity to mix with the locals!!! It's a great building too, and the kitchen and dining area are laid back and good for meeting fellow guests. Also, I found the staff to be amazing, very friendly.
Cons: Nothing stands out to me.

Pros: Location
Cons: Bedding needs updated
Okay 5.0
Pros: The room was good. Had a small kitchenette inside.
Cons: I didn't like how I wasn't informed about pre authorization charges for both nights and charged again at check out, over 600 bucks taken out my account. That is ridiculous!!. The room was suppose to be only 316 for both nights.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Safe Area. Free Parking. Nice Pool/Hot Tub area. Attached to Hospital gift shop and food court - cafe, coffee, smoothie king. Short walk to levy for a nice view of the Mississippi River. Comfortable bed. Clean and spacious room.
Cons: Cheap green fluorescent lighting. Very little control over AC/Heat in room. GPS sent us several miles away to the same address on Jefferson Street (not Jefferson Highway). Look for the bright blue lights of Oschner Hospital on Jefferson Hwy.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was very clean and really nice.
Cons: The only issue was when my wife took her shower the water did not get as hot as she likes it.
Good 7.1
Cons: Noisy in the hall outside the room at Late hours.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Clean. Hotel was part of a hospital. I did not want to stay in the hospital, I wanted a HOTEL!
Cons: It was a HOSPITAL, Not a HOTEL
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location of the Hotel is an excellent stay for the Oschners hospital. The Hotel had everything we needed to get a restful nights sleep. We were close to everything; especially to our loved ones getting treatment treatment at the hospital. Thank You...
Cons: Nothing to complain about...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cleanliness and comfortable bed.
Cons: The hotel was a long way from downtown a Thirty minutes plus bus ride. The 39 bus leaves from just outside the hospital and was very entertaining, one of the highlights of my trip
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Price
Cons: I couldn't check in before 3pm, but understandable bc hotel was sold out. Also there wasn't a heater in the room, when I got there the AC was set to 50 and there was no way to heat the room.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Nothing It did not meet our expectations at all for a 3 1/2 star hotel! We have had better results from a motel.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Like stepping back in time. This place is beautiful and an all around great experience. The staff was nothing but welcoming and kind. I'll certainly be coming back.
Okay 4.8
Pros: - only 10 minutes by car from French quarter - bus station near (30 minutes to French Quarter)
Cons: - the boss/owner was extremely unfriendly (there were like 5-6 situations where he just snapped at us "Maaaaam my office is closed!" or "Maaaam this isnt a 24h reservation" etc. really extremely unfriendly, and we really didn't ask for anything special. (he was friendly to our male friends though so you might be fine if you're a guy ..) - Breakfast: Coffee (coffee only isn't breakfast, although it said online that breakfast was included) - apparently in a bad area (taxi driver said so), I wouldn't walk around when it's dark - for those with a car it's ok I guess but wouldn't stay more than 1-2 days it's really not a nice hotel
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff and a great value.
Cons: Too far from the quarter and in a sketchy part of the city.

Good 7.9
Pros: The location was close to everything. City park is walking distance. Downtown is 45 min walk or take the trolley or Uber. Bathrooms clean; the lady cleans it every morning. Will stay again if I’m in NOLA
Cons: The beds are very squeaky in the mixed room I was in but I didn’t mind.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: I enjoyed that it was setup like a hostel. Community shower and restroom with a community kitchen. Also, I enjoyed that they offer ear plugs right at the front desk. So in case that you don't want to hear your neighbors then you can use them to get some beauty rest.
Cons: The air conditioning in there was not cooling very well and it was slightly I unclmfortingto have to wait to go to the restroom. Make sure you get up early to use it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was great and they were super accommodating. The environment was great! Great breakfast options as well.
Cons: There was not much I did not like. The bathroom was mostly clean like a college dorm so not terrible.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice staff. Organized and clean. Great place for the price.
Cons: I liked everything.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very fun and you always meet interesting people. Perfect price and great location. Good food & drink nearby, and the trolley stops right in front of the building to go straight downtown if you want to.
Cons: The facilities aren't in great condition, and my bed was particularly uncomfortable. I've stayed before and the beds were fine but this one was loud, creaky and uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great job with breakfast of pancakes and waffles and a very friendly staff. Great location in Mid-City, with a streetcar ride away from the French Quarter. Terrific bars and restaurants in the area. Friendly guests and a fun atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The check-in staff was very friendly.
Cons: Our room lacked some basic cleanliness; one sheet had a small bloodstain on it, the sink and shower still had layers of dirt and grime. The walls were incredibly thin and we were consistently woken up by neighbors just walking or opening their doors. It is very out of the way and difficult to get to typical tourist attractions.
Poor 1.0
Pros: The place was not well kept, dirty and sketchy
Cons: Everything.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The first floor was way nicer than when I stayed on the 3rd floor previously
Cons: The third floor was terrible
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: The hotel was old and run down. Dirty with roaches in the room. I guess I get what I paid for, but never again. My worst hotel experience.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything.... it was very relaxing and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the NOLA lifestyle....
Cons: That I had to checkout, like who really ever wants to leave vacation.....
Good 6.0
Pros: Reasonably close to French Quarter and parade routes. Best price for a mid level hotel that we could find nearby that weekend. The neighborhood around hotel was reasonably safe and being gentrified.
Cons: We only got 2 towels and 2 washclothes. Housekeeping never came out 2nd day. Smoke detector kept beeping. When I asked for help they said they would get us towels and fix the beeping, but then when I asked again they said everyone had gone home and grudgingly have me 2 fresh towels. The elevator was small and scary. The room was clean enough, but the hallways stunk and there was construction mess everywhere.
Poor 1.0
Pros: The owner(s) of the hotel clearly does not have a plan for the property. They were in the middle of renovations, debris was everywhere, the rooms were poorly maintained, and the staff was untrained and without care for the customer(s). There was no hot water most of the day/night. Even many of the "so-called" renovated rooms were incomplete. I discovered that the property owners are owners of various gas stations and other food eateries, and that's were they thrive in business. But they should leave the hotel and hospitality industry to the professions.
Cons: EVERYTHING!!!!!
Poor 1.0
Cons: Staff very unfriendly and cheating on the customer (my deposit has never been refunded).
Poor 1.0
Pros: I didn’t like the Stay at the hotel at all , the room was dirty and hot.
Cons: The rooms was dirty and the walls had black stuff on it was the worst stay I ever ya din my life of getting hotels
Okay 5.0
Pros: Staff was very nice, great location
Cons: Looked run- down, power went out when we were trying to check out and did not come back on
Okay 4.0
Cons: The heat didnt work. The .bathroom was not clean and there were holes in the door.
Poor 1.0
Cons: The hotel manager told me that my safety is not their responsibility and that I need to stay off those sites. I got assulted and robbed at their property no one tried to assist me. They need to understand this is a hotel not a retail store.
