Staff were not friendly. Location isn’t great.
Very close to the Superdome, we walked to the game
Good access to the French Quarter and Medical Hospital area.
The rooms are simply amazing. Very neat design and large room. Also a nice arrangement of the room with a niche for work, and a very nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable. All in all, one of the nicest hotel rooms I have been. Also, the hotel itself and lobby have a very impressing design. Parking is a little expensive, but you have a parking lot not too expensive 100 meters from the hotel.
I had packages delivered to the hotel. Twice, I asked for them and have been answered that they did not arrive. Only when I actually showed the reception the order showing it was delivered, they found the packages. Most days, they did not replenish soap and shampoo, and one day when I asked for it after a long day, I had to call a few times and wait until they eventually sent me some. Also, in the first day, they did not clean the coffee and cups that were on the desk.
The hotel was newly renovated with large open spaces and modern finishes. The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating for both a business traveler and a leisure trip.
While the hotel is new & modern with open spaces and large rooms it seems to be lacking warmth. For example the lights in the rooms were VERY BRIGHT with no dim levels, the floors are completely tile - no carpet or rugs so the room felt stark. Similar feel in the common spaces - for example the bar wasn’t open during the afternoon (IN NEW ORLEANS) and it seems the bar was the only popular space in the lobby area. The overall aesthetics are pleasing but something is just lacking. The management should really figure it out because the space is too nice not to be enjoyed by a high end clientele.
