Great location and very clean
Nothing
I reserved a double with a view way in advance of the Conference to insure a room in the host hotel. Guaranteed per the reservation contract. No double available upon timely arrival. Prepaid over $600 for 2 night, wherein other conference attendees paid half the amount. 18th Floor, low water pressure. Mattress extremely hard. Weather was bad, so the hotel was convenient to access the Convention Center. This hotel deal was no deal at all for me. Seriously punitive foe me, though trying to take care of lodging way in advance. Over $600 for a single bed, 2 nights for a Regional Conference? Never again!
The food at Draggo’s was outstanding

Great early check in!
Staff was great! Easy check in at 6am.
Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.
For $300+/night, charging to use the health clubs seems a slap in the face. At the end of the day, I did not get much more than I would have for $120/night, and will look elsewhere in the future. Sure, the Riverside was the hotel of choice for the ACS meeting, yet I can walk, get to see a bit more of NOLA while doing so, pay much less money, and (in the end) pay much less for what I need -- a quite place to sleep.
The onsite restaurants were better than average and the hotel had great amenities- a larger-than-average health club with group fitness classes and racquetball courts, 2 pools and in-room dining. Housekeeping did a great job.
The hotel is dated and could use some up-dating.
Great for attending conference at convention center
As a HiltonHonors member I was able to choose my room prior to arrival and loved being able to use a digital key--I used my iPhone to unlock the hotel room door. The room was a nice size. Wifi worked well. It's a little away from the French Quarter but easily accessible by street car.
Not having USB ports in the room to charge my devices--there were only outlets. The safe in the room was set high up on a shelf in the closet--hard for me to reach. Also, didn't have much of a view from my window. It was a long, sometimes hot, walk outside to and from the convention center.
Dirty ...not worth the money
rude staff and dirty pathetic room and bathroom..ac doesnt work

Maid Service Policy Surprising
Great location, although it is dominated by convention attendees. Very pricy, but the mall is close.
Apparently the official policy of the Hotel is that if you are in your room when the maid comes by, you don't get your room serviced that day. That can happen as early as 10AM. The maid leaves a little card that requires you to call Housekeeping to get some service, maybe. The maid does not recheck your room, even though they are on the floor for several additional hours. I have never seen a policy like that before.
The room had a mildew smell
Hotels is priced right and was nicer than expected
