Pros: The location was great. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The building is architecturally stunning and don’t miss a drink or meal in the restaurant. Excellent food, innovative drinks, and luxurious interiors create an experience that is uniquely Montreal. We also appreciated the room upgrade so we could have a bathtub. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: The location was great and the building as such as well, very big room, comfortable, clean, etc<
Cons: The staff at the reception was unfriendly, we arrived around 13h and were said that the room was not going to be ready until 16h but they were going to try their best to have it ready before. We went for a walk and returned to the hotel around 15h40, the room was not ready yet and the staff at the reception at that precise moment was very disturbed with our question. We had to ask 3 times and finally got the keys at 16h30... On our check out day (check out time 12h) the cleaning staff called in our room at 9h30, they were back at 10h30 and at 11h, until we had to tell them that it was a check out and we wanted to stay until the end. A bit of coordination between the staff would have been appreciated and a friendlier reception staff too (it has been the worst in our Canadian holiday by far)

Pros: The room was lovely and we liked having a mini-kitchen. The staff behind the front desk was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations.
Cons: Going to the bar for a cup of coffee in the morning, I received cold coffee, which they did replace, but there was a lot of chaos there. Somebody came in to stock the alcohol for the bar, three other staff there, but it still took awhile. Then while drinking my coffee a supervisor came and was reprimanding those 3 staff people, instead of taking them to the back room to do it.

7.0 Good
Pros: The location is great; close to buses, coffee shops, and major metro stations. The shared bathroom is clean and water pressure not bad. They offer clean towels every day!
Cons: The mattress is somewhat squeaky and the doors of the storage space under the beds are closed magnetically -- which means it's almost impossible to avoid making loud metallic noises while you close them. The hooks of the curtains are squeaky too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pictures are very true to how M Montreal is. The staff was nice and incredibly helpful, the hostel itself is set up in a great location with two metro stations within walking distance. The rooms and beds are clean and they offer daily activities for guests. Will definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Montreal!
Cons:
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was great.
Cons: Poor choices for breakfast. Not healthy at all.

Pros: I slept well at night and there was no unnecessary noise.
Cons:

Pros: The apartment was amazing. Was upgraded when we got there. Many areas to relax and chat with other travelers.
Cons: We didn’t get to use the hot tub. ☹️ Wow I can’t think of anything else. The establishment sets the standard for all other hostels. Thank you for your welcoming hospitality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful hostel will organized and so clean staff are very helpful
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm check in and check out. We traveled in 4 people and the room was very spacious and clean for us. Good quality compare to price. Location is perfect
Cons: The breakfast was simple, little choice.

Pros: The front desk staff and front desk manager for the weekend of November 15-17th, 2019 were EXCEPTIONAL! My sister and I took my mother there to celebrate her 75th birthday and the staff made a point of wishing her a happy birthday every time they saw her, and even left a hand-written card signed by the front desk staff with a box of maple cookies, gourmet popcorn and sparkling water in our room as a gift!! So thoughtful!! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in giving suggestions of their favourite bakeries, restaurants and coffee shops, booking cabs and giving directions. I have never felt so welcome in a hotel before! The hotel was very new and modern, and extremely clean. Our room was lovely and large with a Nespresso machine and complimentary water bottles, and lovely robes. The pool and hot tub area is beautiful overlooking the city. Thank you to the entire staff, especially the front desk manager (I'm sorry I don't remember her name - Selena??) and front desk staff were just phenomenal - thank you for making such an effort to make my mom's birthday extra special!!

Pros: The hotel has such a wonderful interior as is such a statement-setting glass exterior. The suite was very spacious and comfortable for the best night's sleep. Modern-day aesthetic has been very pleasant to see!
The staff have been very attentive to my needs and have gone the extra mile to save my life as a DJ by providing me a cable that I had forgotten -- usually, the cable is not something you would easily "whip out of a storage room."

Pros: The hotel is in perfect location what is the most important when we travel. Bed was comfy, our room and other spaces clean, food tasty and the staff...The staff was AMAZING! Me and my husband travel a lot and I mean a lot (few trips to Europe and several trips in US) and this was the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. Every single person, we tried to think about anyone who wasn’t and nope-they are all amazing. Our favorite was James (waiter at the restaurant) such nice and very knowledgeable gentleman.
Will definitely come back!!!

The staff have been very attentive to my needs and have gone the extra mile to save my life as a DJ by providing me a cable that I had forgotten -- usually, the cable is not something you would easily "whip out of a storage room."
Cons: The parking lot was really tight. This should come as a warning to those who drive a long vehicle, such as a Chevrolet Suburban, because, despite whatever turning radius, your vehicle may rub into a column and, in turn, can do extensive damage to the vehicle body.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean rooms, very comfy beds, nice staff. Close to everything, great restaurants, historic sites, and the hockey arena.
Cons: The TVs were a pain to use. The rooms were a bit small too but perhaps that’s just due to it being in the downtown of the city.
6.0 Good
Pros: Hotel was clean, the room was fine. Great shower.
Cons: The restaurant was terrible. My wife order chicken which was dry and tough and cold. I ordered the steak and it was cold. The veggies on both plates were not cooked enough, not al dente but raw. The cheese cake was barely unthawed and the creme brûlée was mediocre. One of our worst restaurant experiences in a long time.

Pros: The room was clean and staff helpful
Cons: The curtain in the room was broken so we were woken up early by sunlight
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy checkin/checkout. Able to put a bottle of wine for us in the room ahead of time.
Cons: Technology for TV's was hard to use and unresponsive.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally good. I really appreciated how helpful they were. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. TVs were in both the bedroom and the living room. These look like a converted Candlewood Suites, but the kitchen only contains a sink, fridge and microwave— not full cooking facilities. This was fine for my purposes. Also, REAL DOORS ON THE BATHROOM! I have been staying at Hyatts and such and those sliding doors just don’t do it for me. The real door on the bathroom was appreciated.

Cons: This is an older hotel and while its been reno’d. It could still use some TLC. The breakfast wasn’t my favourite. The hashbrowns were old by the time I got them, and the eggs are not real eggs. More like powdered or carton. It’s not that different from other hotels, and based on the fact that the hotel was a good value for money, I wouldn’t have expected any differently. The tubs could also bear with replacing. Mine was clean but stained in the bottom and my bathroom sink did not drain well.

Pros: We absolutely loved our King Suite . It was the perfect room for a romantic getaway. The highlight was the two tickets per night that allowed us to have two free drinks and access to the amazing open nacho+salsa, veggies and pretzels bar during 5pm-7pm our waiter Berney(ie?). We also loved the wonderful breakfast buffet. Omelettes made by the order. Room service was exquisite. The location was steps away from China town, malls and Notre same Basilac.

Cons: The reception desk ladies present did not give the warmest smiles or hello’s when walking coming in/out of hotel. No pool. It was the only thing we kind of missed from amenities. Also, the reception didn’t have things like ; razors, toothpaste , hairbrush or straightener.

Pros: The breakfast was very good, though a wider selection of bagels (some whole wheat for example) would have been nice. And I would have enjoyed vegetarian options (maybe veggie sausage?). The room was large and comfortable, and the WiFi was good.
Cons: It was quite pricey. My reservation included breakfast, but I didn't enjoy having to hand over a coupon; why not just ask my room # and check on it that way? Also, room service was only pizza and burgers (and nothing vegetarian); you have a decent Chinese restaurant, so why can't one order room service from them?

Pros: The location was great, the hotel restaurant served really good food. The staff was nice and friendly.
Cons: Every day, there was an issue with the bathroom: the drain was clogged, the shower didn't work, someone spilled coffee on the floor - it dried and I cleaned it up that night. Also, the room was cold and there was no way to adjust the temperature.
