Excellent experience. Two of the days we had to ask someone to clean our room but we left the do not disturb on until 12:30.

Overview
Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel is a Montreal landmark, opened on April 15, 1958 it's the largest hotel in the city. Built above Central Station, the hotel was designed to eliminate the vibrations of the trains passing beneath it. The hotel was the first in North America with centralized air conditioning, direct dial phones in every room, and escalators. The hotel has hosted many celebrates including John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 for their famous Bed In for Peace where the Ex-Beatles composed and recorded the song Give Peace a Chance.
In 2017 the hotel's 950 rooms and suites were boldly renovated with bright artistic designs. The seamless blend of vintage 1960s and contemporary decor is reminiscent of the hotels glorious past. Rooms feature windows that open to the outside, bathrobes, coffee and tea makers, large HDTV, and plush bedding.
Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel offers a dining experience like no other at Roselys restaurant. The cuisine at Roselys combines French elegance with a dab of English flair using fresh produce. Marche Artisans gourmet market offers pizza fresh from the pizza ovens, meats and cheeses from the meat counter, fresh baked breads from the bakery, artisanal ice cream, and many other tempting options in this the hotel's pantry. The sophisticated Nacaret Bar provides guests access to true cocktail masters.
Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel's bell and concierge staff are available 24-hours a day to provide guests with a memorable stay. The hotel has completely redesigned and expanded the fitness center which is open 24-hours, the brand new center also provides yearly membership to residents of the city.
