The staff have been very attentive to my needs and have gone the extra mile to save my life as a DJ by providing me a cable that I had forgotten -- usually, the cable is not something you would easily "whip out of a storage room."

Pros: The hotel is in perfect location what is the most important when we travel. Bed was comfy, our room and other spaces clean, food tasty and the staff...The staff was AMAZING! Me and my husband travel a lot and I mean a lot (few trips to Europe and several trips in US) and this was the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. Every single person, we tried to think about anyone who wasn’t and nope-they are all amazing. Our favorite was James (waiter at the restaurant) such nice and very knowledgeable gentleman.
Will definitely come back!!!

Cons: The parking lot was really tight. This should come as a warning to those who drive a long vehicle, such as a Chevrolet Suburban, because, despite whatever turning radius, your vehicle may rub into a column and, in turn, can do extensive damage to the vehicle body.

I mention this because some places state they're pet friendly, but you can feel like you're a bit of an inconvenience but no issues here. Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was great - I'm vegan and the options were good and the staff accommodated and again didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience. They also offered water for my puppy. It was a short stay but overall very happy. Would recommend especially if you're travelling with a furry friend.

Pros: Every employee I met was extremely friendly, good-natured & helpful. Concierges were enthusiastic, well-informed & generous with their time. Desk agents were knowledgeable, capable, patient & accommodating. There were comfy white robes in room, beds were just right (firm underneath with soft layer on top), plenty of pillows, nice big bathroom. I was able to get exactly the drink I wanted at the hotel's pleasant little bar; the hotel breakfast was marvelously varied (included nearly every hot & cold thing one could want - my friend's favorites: pastries & salmon; my favorites: thick bacon & fresh raisin bread; eggs, fruit & veggies & so much more); & best of all to me, the Omni is right downtown within walking distance of many things, and very close to the subway!

Cons: We did not have breakfast. Breakfast was very overpriced. The hotel furnishings are outdated. The upholstery is old, stained and dusty. The carpets in the hallways are not vacuumed. We ask asked for a soap dish and did not receive one. The cleaners did not wash the sinks or tub during our 4 day stay and our coffee was not replenished. We were forced to sign a form that we will be charged an additional $100.00 if we decide to leave the hotel sooner than our reservation end date. The room was very dark with poor lighting and dark furnishings. We had to ask for a second floor lamp so we can actually see. The toilet needed to be held down to flush. The location was not as described. It was not very close to downtown and old montreal was not as close as described. Not a lot of restaurants near by. At least there was a bagel place in the mezzanine adjacent to the hotel and a starbucks.

Pros: We (family of 4 with 2 teenage girls) had a short stop over in Montreal before heading back to Germany after a 3 week stay in Kanada. We had booked a double room with two Queen Sizes beds. The room was clean and spacious. The interior is a bit outdated, though. The pool and spa area is much smaller than the pictures make you believe. Our daughters still had a lot of fun in the pool. Two things are worth highlighting: 1. Ordering food from room service can be adventurous - this time there was nothing to complain about. The salads and club sandwiches were really nice. The room service was friendly and efficient. 2. The concierge service was brilliant. Upfront our visit I contacted the concierge desk and asked them for information about the National Parks in the surroundings of Montreal. Richard sent me a very nice email with lots of information. After arrival at the hotel it was Alexandre at the concierge desk who finalised our trip to Mont Saint Bruno. We were extremely happy with the arrangement. All in all, it was a lovely stay and we would stay in this Hilton again.

Cons: Unfortunately I was injured in my room. There was a metal parturition from the frame of the bed and though i was aware of it. I still managed to run in to it as the space between the wall and bed was small. I did report it on check out so it could be repaired before the next guest.

Cons: I booked loft,it was a bad idea, room X18 is facing elevator, on the corner of major intersection ,room is very weird L shape and the layout could be hugely improved, I had to change room at 3 am as with the noise from the trafficI can't sleep. Breakfast has very few selections, not horrible but not the sort of hotel breakfast that worth paying extra for "breakfast included" option , save that money for a good heathy at restaurants near by ;) .

So you will have small kitchen with microwave and cooking appliances with cutlery enough for 4 ppls if you book the room like us ( 2 double beds). Room is big with comfort and big bed and clean. Great location as you can walk to almost every main attractions in Montreal. 2 metro stations : Guy- concordia & Lucien- l'allier are nearby (around 7-10 mins walk). Great foods around and 15 mins walk to all Montreal shopping mall. We was lucky to have a room at level 12 with great view of sunshine.

All is fine when a weather is OK but a little hard when streets are slippery (ice rain or a weather like that). A parking lot is OK, you can park your car for easy, CAD 15 per 24 hours. Rooms are clean and air climate units work smoothly, they are not noisy, you can sleep well. A bathroom is equipped by all in which you have a need, including a bathrobe for an every guest. There are a microwave machine, digital clock with alarm option and sockets to charge a smartphone or a tablet with easy. Many power outlets inside a room, so you can turn on a lot of your gadgets. A very comfortable table, to work and a good seat near it. A few sofas, it's easy to have a rest besides a bad. The bad is so wide (KING size) and clean, not too soft and a very comfortable in the same time, you can sleep very good and have a very good rest. Many pillows, you can also find an additional pillow too. A good TV (can't say anything about the channels, didn't have a time to watch:-) The last but not the least: a good breakfast with enough choice of a various dishes, like a good buffet.

Cons: One issue isn't good (at least for me!): in the invitation letter from Le Novel Hotel which I've gotten right before the trip is is highlighted that an everybody could get a breakfast in hotel for a fixed price CAD 20 (all dishes are included, hot and cold ones) WITH ALL TAXES ARE INCLUDED!!! When we got the breakfast in hotel, we've advised that the price is CAD 14 for cold meals, CAD 18 for all dishes (hot and cold), PLUS service Fee (CAD 5.20) per 1 guest PLUS 2 sorts of taxes, about CAD 24 for one guest in total. The price difference isn't big (about +20% only!) but I was disappointed by this price issue. The same history occured when we made a check-in, we did show the booking data is printed by me in France and it is also noted that ALL TAXES are included in the price for an every room in this hotel. But we should spend enough time to explain to the staff this issue, they would like to add taxes to our room prices again.

I ordered room service which came very fast however what I got was manicotti that were a frozen microwaved product in a styrofoam container and a can of coke. No plates, flat wear or glass. The price was $18.00 before taxes, tips and service charge. Not a place to come to if you want to eat in house.

Cons: The room is very, very small and cramped. Security was a serious issue. I left my room at 10:00 am to sightsee. Upon returning at 3:30 pm, my door was wide open, my luggage visible from the hallway, the room unmade. I wandered up and down the hall to find the cleaners, even calling out a few times. Nothing. I went downstairs to reception to report that my door was wide open and the room had not yet been cleaned. Apologies were swift, and someone immediately called housekeeping to fix the situation. Even after this, the trash cans had not been emptied in the room. That evening, I made a reservation for a 7:00 am wake-up call for the morning as my phone alarm was unpredictable and I was jet-lagged. No wake-up call was made (fortunately my phone alarm did go off.) Once again, sincere apologies were made. I believe that with the security issue and the missing wake-up call, a small gesture, such as a slight discount on the room, could have been offered. I am a frequent Wyndham customer, and did mention this to the front staff. Still no offer of any kind to make up for some pretty heavy mistakes. It's a given that the doors to the rooms should be kept closed, the rooms cleaned earlier, and a simple task like a wake-up call shouldn't be forgotten. These aren't high expectations - it's basic hotel-keeping 101. A small gesture on the part of management would have made a world of difference.

Cons: The only thing that I didn't like is the fan in the bathroom. Each time you turn on the light, the fan goes on and it's a bit loud. Since it was winter, the room was dark. I wanted more light, not more buzzing noise.
