Breakfast buffet excellent; room was spacious
Ramp instead of steps inside hotel to assist with moving luggage
Great location
Front desk staff member did not greet nor ask if I had ever been there. Did not tell us anything about the facility or amenities the hotel offered. Seemed aggravated that I had booked with an outside agency. Room was not cleaned one day & had to chase someone down to get it cleaned. Rooms need a little facelift.
Good food,nice pool, comfortable beds
Inside the hotel was very cold
LOVED the pool!!! great extended hours, heated, and lap lane.
breakfast should be included, even if it's a small selection
The Bonaventure is a rather unusual hotel, built in a very late 20th century modern style on the top 2 floors of an office/convention center building. Its rooms are laid out in a ring, surrounding a center lobby area with a bar and restaurant, year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a pond with ducks. Rooms are sleek and modern in a 1960-70s way, but comfortable and updated with firm beds ...
The only things I can think of is that the walk to the rooms can be a little long, due to the unusual layout and the fact that there are only 2 elevators between the street level and the lobby on the 10th floor. And guests should be aware that there will be short stairways between the lobby area and the hallways for the rooms. The drain in our tub was quite slow, but we let management know and the...Read more

Great staff! Front desk, concierge, door, all very kind and helpful. The duck pond on the property is adorable and a great place to relax and read a book.
Hotel has a good location. Close to old port area - 15 min walk, and some nightlife. Good pool. Nice lobby. Room was comfortable and clean.
Staff was not very friendly upon check in although the housekeeping service was very responsive and the concierge was enthusiastic.
Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we had heard some concerns about night time noise, the hotel was quiet during our stay. The pool was lovely as ever, and a hot tub has been added since our last stay. The water temperature was just right in both pool and hot tub. Lockers for your clothes are free. The exercise room is nice. The duck pond was fun to watch.
A hotel the size of the Bonaventure could really use three hot tubs, especially since (unlike many hotels) the pool is so popular. We thought the hotel restaurants were a little expensive, although there are some reasonable dining options in the levels below Place Bonaventure. The carpeting in the hallways looks very worn, but on closer inspection, it's the pattern.
