Pros: Our host JR is a terrific person , friendly, cheerful & very accommodating. The room was very clean, the shower water hot , the bed comfortable & the breakfast delicious.
Cons: A little to far to walk to the city’s cultural attractions ( just take an Uber )
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Brilliant!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. It was a pleasure talking with our host, JR. He gave us a map of the city and helped us with subway and bus routes to take to the park and Old Town. He also gave us dining options for dinner.

Pros: JP was an excellent host and very knowledgeable and funny.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner J.R. was very nice. The breakfast was good and the bed very soft.

Pros: Jean Rene was the perfect host. He is friendly, helpful and knowable about Montreal and how to make the most of my trip. He accommodated my dietary requirements and couldn't do enough to make me feel comfortable and at home.
Cons: I can't think of anything that could have improved my experience at Gite Ocion.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect. Everything we needed was nearby, Subway, supermarket, restaurants and shops. 15-20 min walk to the old town and the river. Richard the owner sent us e-mail (directions) so it was easy for us to get from the Airport to Le Cartier (by bus and the green line). Our room was very nice, lovely furniture and paintings, everything very clean, a lot of food in the kitchen for breakfast and a lovely, little "garden" :) Thank you Richard and neighbor Robert.
Cons: We liked everything. Would not want to stay anywhere else in Montreal.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location and the room was well appointed. It was great having the walkout to the beautiful courtyard. That was amazing. The owner was great.
Cons: The room was not as clean as it could have been and the bed was rock hard. Not what I am accustom to.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Richard met with me upon check-in and was a delightful, informative and knowledgeable host. The property was well-appointed, immaculate, tastefully decorated and had everything any guest could want. I felt completely comfortable and safe as a single woman staying for a week. Scott did an excellent job of daily upkeep, cleaning and restocking as well as providing a few laughs. The location was wonderful and I was able to walk almost everywhere to explore the beauty of Montreal. I look forward to returning to Le Cartier and appreciated the level of excellent service provided to me as a guest.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The art pieces in the room are lovely. Great to have access to kitchen area. Very conveniently located close to metro.
Cons: Parking was a little daunting, but Richard helped us figure it out.
Good 7.0
Pros: I liked the quiet set up and smaller facility and that it was a bit more homier. The price for what you got was good and I felt it was located in a great place!
Cons: I think using a different cleaner would help the scent of the room. The room had a little bit of a wet, moldy smell but did appear overall clean. I would have liked the option to not have a cleaning day and have privacy but they wanted to come in each day even when I had the “sleeping” card out and was woken up a couple of days. I also think some updating in bedding, and decor would be good. The curtains were leather and had dust built up on the top portion. I didn’t even bother with the tv as it was older and only had local channels. I was told only to press 3 buttons or someone would have to come and fix it.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was really nice. It is close enough to the metro, and easily accessible. We didn't get to explore the immediate area very much as we were meeting up with friends elsewhere, but it was easy to get to other parts of the city. Richard was quite the gracious host and quite accommodating.
Cons: No power outlet between beds (plenty elsewhere in the apartment)

Pros: Service and room was awesome!
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was beautiful, spacious and the bed was very comfortable!
Cons: Breakfast at Gaspars restaurant wasn't great.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I liked that the hotel had a great restaurant on the premises serving breakfast without having to go out looking for it. We had a nice supper there too. Also great location near other restaurants.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The people were so helpful and kind!
Cons: A little dark
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Hubby gave me a two night stay at the Auberge du Vieux-Port in Montreal for a Christmas present. It couldn’t have been better. We arrived on a Monday and after a bit of difficulty finding a place to park, checked in. The hotel staff were simply amazing. Every one from the cleaning staff to the valet were probably the most accommodating and kind and gave the impression that they really liked their jobs. We were surprised with a room upgrade to a king river view on the fifth floor-#503-ask for it. Ultra clean, very comfy bed, coffee maker in room and good toiletries. A HUGE shower with multiple jets no tub though but that was fine with us. The hotel has a bar pub that serves up pub fare. I had an excellent burger and great thin fries and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were quite large portions and the staff cheerfully accommodated some changes and ommisions. The best part is that the hotel is located centrally in Vieux-Port Port and between Isle de la Commune road and the famous and beautiful Rue St Paul. Fabulous restaurants and shops made it difficult to choose. Parking is off site and costs 25$ per night to self park or $35 for valet parking in a covered garage. We loved every minute in spite of the bone jarring cold and snow.....it just made it more magical. We will definitely be back!
Cons: Offsite parking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were especially helpful in identifying restaurants and bars to visit.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Housed in an old port building, the modernized property combines the best of the old with contemporary updates. Riverfront views with the attractions of the Old Port just a block away, it’s easy to get anywhere you want to go. We stayed for a long weekend as the season was just winding down and thought the setting was romantic, service was delightful and amenities just right.
Cons: The walls were a bit thin, we could hear our neighbors clomping around in heels and could very easily hear conversation. This was all Day time stuff and didn’t have interrupted sleep at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect old port location and great rooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The decor with the stone and wood was gorgeous
Cons: I would have liked a couple of actual coffee cups instead of demitasse in the room and actual hot instead of tepid coffee available downstairs with a ready supply of cream.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cozy and perfectly situated for exploration. A wonderful place to stay for our 30th anniversary.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the location, so central for attractions in Old Montréal and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our accommodation was on the top floor of a four storey building and there was no elevator! Maybe another time we would choose the associated Auberge du Vieux Port, as we did not fully use the self-catering facilities in the Lofts.
Good 7.1
Pros: Great location. Large apartment with a charming street view. Lots of windows and light. The staff at the Auberge de vieux Port were very helpful.
Cons: The bed was very hard and lumpy. 5 flights of very steep steps to get to the apartment.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff so wonderful, room was beautiful, old charm with modern facilities
Cons: Absolutely loved it. Will be back for sure!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Charming lofts. Great location. The staff at Aubère was very accommodating and friendly.
Cons: Construction on streets around the area ( not the fault of the proprietors). Stairs to our loft. No problem for our group but could be for those less active.
Excellent 9.4
Cons: The lofts- I was informed via email following my prepayment of my three night stay- doesn't include daily housekeeping. This isn't the biggest issue, but there's no going down to the lobby for breakfast- the lofts are in a separate building. On the upside, the room is more like a large studio apartment. The room is well appointed and the kitchen is thoughtfully and thoroughly stocked. Though there is no minim-bar or snacks, there is a full-size frig, stove, cookware, etc.,etc. Overall, it's an excellent value.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Architecture of the hote
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a great stay! the lofts are really nice, spacious, clean and have everything you need. The location is just perfect, right in the center of old Montreal and the staff is super friendly! Would stay here again!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beautiful. Central old Montreal. Most plush comfy bed. Huge bathtub for 2.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location could not have been better.
Cons: Thin noise barrier to upstairs apartment.
Good 7.0
Pros: The rooms of the loft are gorgeous, the location is great. The service is impeccable.
Cons: For the price, no breakfast included.... I spent the week in a cheaper hotel, the location was less pristine but the breakfast was really amazing. Also, the isolation isn't great and I could hear the music from the restaurant downstairs.

Good 6.0
Pros: The facilities, staff and location were exceptional. Front desk and valet (Michael) were top shelf.
Cons: Housekeeping quality within the rooms was terrible. Room not cleaned properly, not enough towels and we had to clean the bathroom after it had just been cleaned.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location and room good.
Cons: It presents as a boutique hotel but it's a conference hotel really. Dinner crowded, service slow. Long wait for just a continental breakfast as no buffet.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very nice facilities and very friendly staff! Room was very comfortable as well!
Cons: Only had 1 person working in the coffee shop downstairs. There was a 12 person lineup, only a couple snacks left at 4 in the afternoon.
Good 7.0
Pros: There were many things we loved about this hotel! Located in the heart of Old Montreal, it is surrounded by amazing shopping, restaurants and architecture. The hotel also offers many wonderful amenities (restaurants, spa, coffee shop, gym, etc, trendy rooftop bar in the warmer months) which we were fortunate to experience. We loved the stylish design of the hotel and our room was very spacious with a nice view!
Cons: Unfortunately the cleanliness of our room was not what we expected. For example, the drinking glasses were dirty (one had dust stuck along the rim), mirrors had smudges, some surfaces were a little dusty, the safe was broken. The staff were not the friendliest, but we would still try this hotel again!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location and great amenities. Stunning and fun rooftop. Overall fantastic experience.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Gorgeous hotel, fabulous staff and atmosphere, amazing design, absolutely brilliant shower and bed. Didn't have time for the spa sadly, but did very much enjoy the food in Maggie Oakes.
Cons: Just wish we had more time to enjoy it all! Definitely pricey, but probably fair for the excellent quality.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Every single engagement with the staff was warm and welcoming. They work together to give you a sense that they are here to help the best they can and it does make that special difference. The location and building itself is incredible and you are above one of the best coffee shops in the city.
Cons: Not much

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host was wonderful --- so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fresh food and Nutella!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was ideal to explore old Montreal on foot. The Auberge is quaint and characterful and the welcome from Claude is warm and friendly.
Cons: Firmer pillow option would be good to save neck ache. The pillows provided were too soft and not supportive enough. A common problem in hotels we visited across US and Canada.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The location was excellent and the continental breakfast was good quality but standard fare
Cons: Wife wouldn't get in the shower due to mold. Large gaps in antique wood flooring had dust and dirt swept into the gaps rather than being vacuumed out. When first entering the room there was a musty odor. Attempted to open the window to air out the room but the window was screwed shut. The owner somewhat curtly stated that the hinge was broken, so he had screwed the window shut. A rock band played loudly nearby until about midnight. The ceiling in half of the room was so low that we had to bend over to get out of bed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Extra bonus points for sharing a very friendly dog! So cute!!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Charming. Great location.
Cons: Lack of conditioner for the shower.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: Some insects in the bedroom
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, very quiet, very comfortable room and breakfast was perfect. Fresh berries, orange juice, croissants very fresh as well. Very friendly staff.
Cons: A bigger TV in the bedroom.

Pros: good atmosphere, breakfast, location
Cons: bathrooms and showers were very dirty
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The guy in the front desk was nice and accommodating. The area is close to the Old Montreal which is super cool. The placd is clean and good washroom.
Cons: It's a bit cold for me during the night while sleeping. I wish there is heater or thicker blanket and higher pillow.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is so cozy and clean! You can get good tips from front desk and they are super friendly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Extremely clean and cozy!
Cons: none
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about this..and especially lovely staff and entertaing people
Cons: Loved it
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The breakfast was fine with different choices of bread and confitures and also bagels, plus tea and coffee. The surrounding neighborhood is perfectly beautiful, exactly in the middle of old Montreal and the hostel was right across from Marche-Bonsecour and the old port Montreal. About 5 mins walk from champ de mars metro station and 10 mins walk from the nearest bus stop. The staff was super helpful with all my questions and was very nice to me, they even help me carry my luggage to the room. I'd stay here again if I had a chance to be in Montreal again.
Cons: Wifi doesn't work well in the dorm downstairs. But that's just it.

Pros: Owner(?) was very friendly and flexible with us overall; went a bit extra to make our stay comfortable. Nice room, had everything we wanted and could expect at a chain hotel. This is a very small place, only a handful of rooms, so it was quiet and pleasant. Glassware and misc for drinks in the atrium, lovely back patio for working or relaxing, and it's conveniently a block or two (off the beaten path) from the start of a major dining/nightlife area. Oh, and breakfast was a meal voucher for this amazing cafe at the entrance to that area and was probably the best 'hotel breakfast' any of us had ever had
Cons: Only one set of keys per room meant we had to really coordinate for our group of 4, but it wasn't that bad

Good 7.0
Pros: breakfast is good. room with two beds.
Cons: parking is limited during snow storm. might not have enough parking spaces. the room next to the road, and the window seems not good sound proof..
Good 6.0
Pros: Coffee was great and staff friendly.
Cons: Thought we would be on the St Lawrence River with view from the deck. Could not see the river. Currently lots of construction in area so did not venture downtown where a lot of the attractions were. If comfortable riding bus this hotel would be good value
Excellent 8.5
Pros: I loved the quaint and charming atmosphere of this hotel. The owners are very hospitable and helpful.
Cons: The street noise if you stay at the room facing the street.
Poor 1.0
Pros: It’s awful! The owner is so rude, place looks random and old, bathroom was flodded, the lady gave us a random room. tv/ fan/outlets didn’t work. Nasty view.. heater didn’t work last day when it was -9 C outside. How else could I explain my bizarre experience in Canada because of this hotel.
Cons: Maybe the breakfast
Good 6.0
Pros: Small quaint rooms - very old but clean, hot showers, comfortable beds, perfect for single traveler on a budget, good jogging trail, close to St. Lawrence river
Cons: Room very small for two adults, breakfast was just toast, cereal, coffee and juice, parking was very tight, Monday to Friday cannot park in front of hotel from 7:00 - 9:00 am, very industrial part of city
Poor 1.0
Cons: No one was there to greet me late
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the friendly staff and fresh orange juice. Look at the artwork in the basement while you're there!
Cons: Parking was limited but was available
Okay 5.0
Pros: The retro look
Cons: The noise and that the room was extremely small. Also it was way way to hot in the room.

Good 6.0
Pros: It is all about location
Cons: There was a thermostat on the wall, but it was clear there was no working A/C.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The location for the price is what was best about this hotel. It was within walking distance to the port area and to the central metro station. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Hotel was very run-down. The towel bars were ripped off of the walls, carpet ripped, and the shower curtain clung to me when showering due to improper installation of shower curtain bar. Hard to sleep -- nearby guests were playing heavy metal all night.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: It was relatively cheap and the location wasn't terrible, if you like to walk.
Cons: The pillow case was coated with someone else's hairs and the toilet was dirty.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Good location for cheaper than others in the city.
Cons: Hotel is old, room is slanted and small. Carpet feels like it needs a good cleaning. Shower and sink drains are full of hair. For a "bed and breakfast", the breakfast is real cheap.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Close to the old city
Cons: The dirtiest place I have ever been. They should pay you to be there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It's close to everything
Cons: Everything was fine
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: nothing
Cons: There was no microwave in the room, fridge did not work properl. Room service was only once a week. One has to go downstairs to get a croissant and some juice for breakfast. So much dust in the room. Rude customer service lady on reception. Old blankets.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean linens every time I came back to my hotel, garbage was always emptied, and very quiet room. Room 250 was where i stayed.
Cons: Nothing that comes to mind
Excellent 8.0
Cons: We have to use a real key to open the outside door to get in the hotel at night.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location. Far enough away (2-3 blocks) from the grit of Saint Catherine / St Laurent, and far enough from the touristy old Montreal... Quiet nice little neighborhood where the only think not nice is this dinky hotel, but it was cheap, and not too dirty.
Cons: The rooms and hotel itself felt a little eurotrashy, but it was a fine experience.
Poor 1.0
Pros: anything
Cons: The room was Very small. They Don't have their own parking lot and you have to pay extra 15$ to park 2 block away from the hotel. The room was not ready when I arrived. I was very disappointed with the hotel and the service making my visit so miserable.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location was great !
Cons: We had to hask for towels there were none in the room. We had problem with the TV but it worked finaly. The toilet paper was wet, we asked for another one.

Pros: Bad
Cons: I arrived after the stipulated time and they still didn't have my room ready. but if I stayed half an hour more than the time to leave and they were already taking me out of the room, disrespect! I don't recommend it, you stay there because you don't have much money. More than the name of the hotel, it is the most respected street in Montreal, which the hotel does not have!
Excellent 8.0
Cons: The floor was cold and it wasn't warm at first.
Good 7.5
Pros: The beds were super comfortable
Cons: We could have had more blankets
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location.
Good 6.3
Pros: Sheets had cigarette burns. ( non Smoking room) . Towels were clean. Place was a bit run down, but staff helpful. Thankfully we were I. The room only to sleep and to shower.
Cons: It had a a bath house feel. Rather than a hotel. The scent of cig smoke and marijuana lingered from other rooms.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Nothing! Probably in future they will do something.
Cons: Probably in future they will do something. But now it is old, outdated, dirty . When we checked in our shower was not clean with open soup and empty shampoo bottle .We were afraid even to sleep in the bed . Also we paid extra 10$ for parking spot . And it is in Gay village . Noisy , crowded and crazy outside . But , it was our experience . Maybe some people will find it OK , not us . Sorry !
Good 7.9
Pros: Price and location
Cons: room was small and compact. The decor was very dated
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything was clean and the staff were helpful and nice. The room was perfect for the price paid, and there was breakfast, which was nice.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Great location, very near of the subway and accomodations ( + nightlife if it's your thing). The place could use a refresh but is ok for the price, overall the hotel itself was quite calm.
Cons: 1 - Bedbugs... Severly bitten, even if we've checked the bed before sleeping the first night (that seemed ok). 2 - Our room was streetside, meaning a lot of noise (facing directly the clubs), but ok with earplugs 3 - It smelled weed a lot when we arrived in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I'm very easy going, I adored it
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: No like
Cons: Washroom is very small No soap available
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, WiFi and private washroom
Cons: It's a cheap room so furnishings are cheap.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: I liked the comfort of the bed and room I felt secure since it was a buzz in door from the street and try had security cameras. Internet was great. The location right next to subway station was very convenient.
Cons: I didn’t like that at certain times the water temperature in the shower would fluctuate.
Good 7.7
Pros: The location is right off the main strip of St Catherine - however the room was clean and the owners were wonderful. If you're simple and easy to please, this place can save you money and it's not that bad of a compromise at all.
Cons: There can be some shady looking individuals that are contstantly askin for change on the steps of the place. There where a couple mosquitos in my room upon arrival. The AC unit is a movable ground unit that connects to the only window in the room. Door to the bathroom would not close.
Poor 1.0
Cons: The bed in room 25 had bed bugs and I came away with several bites on my body. Also there was no closet in room 25 and not even hooks to hold clothes.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location very close to the train station
Cons: Cigareth smell all over the place.
Okay 5.1
Pros: Room was somewhat clean but you get what you pay for. Located only 2k from old Montreal.
Cons: They rent by the hour! A hooker asked if she could use our room because the hotel was full at the time AC stopped working at 1am and the widows don’t have screens. The AC also dropped into the room but don’t worry they have a garbage can to catch the water. There is very limited street parking after 6pm but we were warned by the hotel it wasn’t very safe. Park at own risk
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great location, closed to the subway & bus station.
Cons: Shower door is hard to close.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The price was amazing, I don't care about fancy hotels... I'm travelling to enjoy the city not the hotel room. The room was super cute and cozy, I loved that they gave us so many pillows on the beds! Sheets were soft and smelled nice. The breakfast was a bit lackluster but it filled me up and served its purpose. Towels were so soft and fluffy.
Cons: There's no parking and if you park in the grocery store parking lot in behind, the security guard of the parking lot will give you a lot of grief (seriously, he wouldn't let me close my car door and leave until he was done berating me about parking in an ever empty lot).
Good 6.7
Pros: Moved to upgraded room soon as available (final night). Best room in hotel, which was bright, comfy, spacious, and had a whirlpool tub. Manager was excellent in arranging the room switch. Price was reasonable, compared to competition.
Cons: First room: A/C window unit removed previous week for colder season, but window was wide open without screens. Flies got in and kept landing on us most of first 2 nights, and bed very uncomfortable, with cigarette burns right into the mattress. So we got very poor sleep first 2 nights. Shower stall door sticks badly. Tiny bar soaps. Second (upgraded) room: Much better, everything. Only TV remote not working well there. Easy check-in and check-out.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Location good. Near village clubs and restaurants. Great water pressure. Quiet room.
Cons: Room was tiny with no hanging or closet space. Bed not overly comfy. Shower dripped. No elevators, so had to carry luggages 2 floors in narrow winding stairways.

Okay 4.2
Pros: The property has historic value, great character and charm - but there is a huge management problem here!!!
Cons: Disastrous Experience - when we arrived at 8:30 in the evening the hotel was locked and we had to bang on the door for about 5-minutes until someone came to let us in - there is no elevator so we had to lug everything up three flights of narrow, winding stairs (we are both near 70) - our room was very small and very minimalist - no closet, only two wall hooks to hang our clothes - no storage for our suitcases, so we were tripping over them for four days - all three windows (including one in bathroom) leaked with water on the sills - bed very, very uncomfortable, and no headboard - TV did not work (initially told due to storm, then told system being upgraded, then told no one available over weekend to address issue) - bathroom door hinges loose, could not properly close door, door also split - three of four light bulbs over sink burnt out (asked for new bulbs, delivered but we had to install ourselves???) - of the four days we had hot water for showers two days only, other two days barely lukewarm - no maid service, although we were asked daily of our needs and items were replenished (there was a $10.00 daily service charge added, $40.00total plus taxes, after booking and charged directly to our credit card) - total lack of sound proofing, normal conversation could be heard through the walls! Additional charges were charged to our credit card after checkout without our knowledge, we have queried Hotel, but no explanation or even response - unbelievable!!! Pictures and descriptions as advertised NOT indicative of actual conditions at this Hotel We would would definitely NOT recommend this Hotel!!!
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: People working in hotel were great. Breakfast was wonderful
Cons: small rooms and old furniture. NO elevators. We had to carry our luggage to 2nd floor.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Location was good - on the edge of the Old Town, and the young lady cooking and serving dinner in their restaurant was very pleasant.
Cons: Staff very unhelpful. On arrival the first thing I was given was a bunch of keys with the message "There's a $50 charge if you lose them". Nice welcome! Overcharged me for our meal by $25 and when I realized the following day they said there was nothing they could do - I should e-mail their head office. Then as we checked out they said there was a $5 service charge. When I asked what this was for they didn't know - suggested Breakfast (we hadn't eaten any) so perhaps coffee (we hadn't drunk any). Hopefully they didn't add it to my bill as well. On arrival had to carry heavy suitcases up winding stairs - no offer of assistance. Our room was small and run down - it could badly do with a facelift - things like non-working light fitting protruding from the wall by the bed wound up with insulating tape. It was supposed to take three people but how they would have managed I don't know, it was barely large enough for the two of us. Small window high in the wall that you couldn't see out of. The web site shows more modern rooms - ours was nothing like these. Definitely the worst hotel of our holiday.
Good 6.0
Pros: quiet
Cons: door was locked when i arrived at 2200 h upon check in i signed a sheet that included a hold on my credit card. OK but she refused to make me a copy of what i had signed.
Good 7.5
Pros: Great breakfast, and great location.
Cons: They charge MANDATORY 15% tips in dinner service. In breakfast, even thought the price is included in the booking, they charge you a minimum $2,00 per person a day. If you don't leave the tip, they charge you on checkout!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Close to cruise port and enjoyed service and staff
Okay 5.0
Pros: location
Okay 4.6
Pros: Walking distance to the sights
Cons: The room was cramped and stuffy.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The location was excellent two blocks from old Montreal The staff was exceptional
Cons: Old hotel the rooms were small, barely enough room to open the entry door without hitting the bed. Extension cords used to connect tv and cable box. We were on first floor of rooms. Had to carry bags around three bends in stairs (4 steps each).
Good 6.0
Pros: The breakfast and location are great! Right near the historic old port of Montreal.
Cons: Cable TV connection was terrible.
