Not too costly. Front desk was courteous.
Our room was cold and the wallpaper peeling. The tv remote didn't work very well and the shower was dirty. Kitchen staff was rude.
The lobby was aesthetically pleasing but was in stark contrast to the old-fashioned rooms.
The air ventilation in the rooms was poor, causing it to be stuffy and the air quality to be sub-par. For a 3.5 star hotel, I would expect better, more modern decor. There is a $25 per night parking fee, and our floor had large stains.
THis was not an Empire Suites hotel. Our rooms were at the 1-star LeLux hotel, which looked like a rooming house. Hallways were not monitored at night and at 3 AM there was a party happening outside our door, in the hallway. No-body did anything. Terrible
I was deceived. I will not book again, ever.
The room was clean
The hotel smelled like weed, there were rowdy guests that the staff did not do anything about, and the pictures from the website are not what the hotel looks like
How to you rate a hotel? This property had only one elevator!!
I made it very clear I had mobility problems. This is not a 3 1/2 star hotel. Far away from everything. Very difficult for people with a handicap or mobility problems. Entrance was up three flights of steps. Bathtub/shower was almost impossible to enter
Very loud housekeeping staff
It was in an OK location and the lobby looks amazing!
The room was badly decorated, there were few amenities. Broken sockets in room, single paned glass on the windows so we were awakened by a tour bus leaving. Bathroom had broken towel racks and the toilet constantly ran
The price for the location was good.
Some fixtures were a little dated.
The hotel does not look anything like the pics and is not a 3.5 start hotel. It's being wrongly advertised. It's a 2 star and below hotel.
The Hotel Lobby was extremely nice and the Head Housekeeper's service and personality was warm, friendly and she was such a pleasure to meet.
The rooms needs more amenities, the parking spaces are to small, limited and is not worth $25 pee night. At check out the clerk cost me an additional $35 which I didn't appreciate at it all.
It was very outdated and the bathroom has urine smell. It should be lower star ratings not to mislead the travelers.
Convenient to metro and sights/attractions
Pretty much everything else. It was a total dive. Facilities were old and worn and dirty, location was on a seedy street, price was a ripoff for the condition of the hotel. No amenities like free breakfast or even coffee, no refrigerator Or safe in room.
