Cons: The elevators seem inadequate for the building. Although this is so minor it would be hardly worth mentioning under normal circumstances we literally ended up walking down the stairs Sunday at checkout because we could not get a ride. Just something to be aware of during your stay. The ladies behind the lobby bar were very slow... I recognize things may move at a slower pace in the south so I am trying to keep this on balance. It was exacerbated when I asked for a coffee drink and they said it would be quicker for me to go downstairs and get some coffee and bring it up. Just not really the customer-centric experience.

Pros: Everything was indefinably perfect. This was my first experience with a four star hotel, and I walked in with high expectations. They met and exceeded every single one. The environment is luxurious, the staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We were given a ride to our concert venue free of charge, and when no drivers were available to pick us up, the concierge did so himself (Daniel's a great guy). The cocktails in the lobby bar were unique and tasty. The store across from the lobby bar (an art book store) stocks some great additions to any coffee table. And our purchase was transported up to our room with a little note from the concierge: "Enjoy your staycation." We had only told him once that we weren't from out of town, but he remembered. We felt like royalty from check-in to check-out. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dallas.

Pros: Two good things - the valet staff was efficient and quick
There was a patch of grass across the street for dogs
Cons: The entire staff seemed put off by answering any basic question of ours, they weren’t knowledgeable about the simplest of things like what time check out was even!! We were put on hold so they could check... meanwhile i could hear the other line going off in the background. They just wanted to switch over to a more important guest. The spa flat out lied to us about their availability. When we tried to push our checkout time by 30 minutes after enduring all of this so that we could go to a neighboring spa it simply couldn’t be done. The shower was broken, my fiancé fixed it, the mirror in the bathroom was broken, my fiancé attempted to fix it but then said “honestly i should Be paid for fixing all of these issues”. We asked for a dog bed. They offered it at check in but they were reluctant to send one up in the ten minutes it took us to change our mind about wanting one. It was disgusting Don’t ask for the dog bed. They apparently offer free car service in 5 miles. Don’t even bother. They won’t answer the phones to call you one. We had such high hopes for this place as we visit the spa and CBD often. This was our first and LAST stay at the joule. You’ve lost two customers that used to sing your praises.

Pros: We loved this staying at this hotel! The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. We had a bunch of luggage and was relieved how quickly they helped us unload and check into the rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We were happy to have a mini-fridge also! The views were beautiful within the hotel, and the view, "of the city" out our 15-story room was amazing!! I would highly recommend you purchase the breakfast package. We did and was very happy to not have to travel for food but even better than the convenience was the food! Breakfast was great, not your normal hotel breakfast but more restaurant and buffet style and was delicious. The orange juice might be the best I have ever tasted! Totally worth the add on to your room. The terrace was awesome and a good place for our grandson to run around and get some of the energy out. The terrace also made a really nice place to hang out with family that were in different rooms at the hotel. Plus, the terrace was also a beautiful place to just watch the city. We also enjoyed looking at all the historical pictures in the hall of how Dallas looked when it was still a small city and how it has grown. Almost like visiting a museum and very interesting. Parking wasn't too bad or far away. We had a large truck, so we used the parking lot near the hotel. This parking lot is in close walking distance to the hotel, had plenty of space left to park and we could even see the truck from our hotel window. There is a cost to use the parking, but they do also have valet parking available as well. We absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!

Cons: We were satisfied with everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and the staff was great to work with. I loved the 24 hour store and the bar down stairs.
Cons: Pillows went paper thin flat and parking was expensive and far away unless you did valet but the line was CRAZY long!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were great, the room was spacious and stylish, with awesome views of downtown Dallas. 24 hour concierge with an assortment of snacks, and the room service variety was refreshing. We also enjoyed the extra large TV that was in our room, it had to be at least 55".
Cons: The area did not have a lot of places to walk to in the vicinity and a lot of the restaurants that were closer were not open very late. The pillows on the bed were also a little lumpy, and the shower and bathroom could have been bigger.

The tunnels also had food selections which was nice for lunch breaks during the day. I also enjoyed the bartender at the lobby bar however the food was way overpriced.
Cons: First I did not like that the elevators stopped running at one point. Then on one occasion when I returned to my room the housekeeping had left a dirty rag on the bench inside my room, they took or threw away my personal shaving razor, a dirty wine glass was left untouched even though they supplied another new one and one of my towels provided was torn. Not the type of quality I expect from a Westin hotel. Not to mention the housekeeping also left their cart in front of my room for hours one of the days during my stay and the air conditioning unit in my room made an annoying noise when on high. This was my first trip to Texas and I read several recent yelp reviews for this hotel and hate to say it but I would agree with a majority of the negative remarks. The food at the hotel, mainly the lobby bar is also very overpriced for what you get. Def do not stay here for a vacation or romantic getaway!

Pros: I loved the design and the concept. I purposely booked this hotel because it is mid Century Modern and my boyfriend and I love that. I love that there was 50s and 60s music playing in the lobby and in the elevators, it was really cute and fun.
Cons: I booked a room with a large soaking tub because I am a bath taker and that is an unusual feature in a hotel room and I was excited to use it, unfortunately I never got to... Upon arriving, our ac was broken and our room was almost 90 degrees. I called down to the front desk, they said a technician would be right up, but 30 minutes had passed and we needed to start getting ready for our event, so we couldn't wait any longer. I had to go downstairs to ask for another room, explaining that we didn't have time to wait because we needed ro get ready. They switched our room and they were very nice and it was no problem, but the new room was no where near comparable. The new room was barely bigger than our king size bed and there was no tub, so that was an upgrade I paid for, for nothing. We stayed two nights, I didn't bother them to switch us again, it'd be too big of a hassle. There are also a couple of bars in the hotel that get jam packed at night with a bunch of kids at night (I am in my 30s, but they were early 20s) so, when we came back from our events each evening, it was like walking thru a dance club to get to the elevators. My preference is for a nicer, more established, upscale hotel feel and less of a Bourbon Street experience. Overall, I don't think I would stay there again, especially at that price. I am an Hilton Honors member and have been for almost a decade, but there are less expensive hotels that provide a better overall experience than this one did.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, high tech, secure, and has several dining options.

Pros: It was in a great location.
Cons: My sheets felt as if there was sand in the bed. The staff was not helpful when we asked questions about the area. We read the room service book and planned to order after a concert first they would not answer the phone then they closed 45 minutes before time listed. We asked for other options and they were rude and no help. The next morning we called down to ask for a 30 minute late check out and they told me they were not accepting any late check outs. This hotel was expensive and a beautiful facility yet I can never stay there again!!! !!Sad!!!

Cons: Older building- could use some sound proofing to prevent noise from being heard from the street level.

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: $--- Way too expensive for a simple room with no view but the wall and no breakfast included. Ludacris!

Pros: Clean room and friendly staff.
Cons: Price per parking in the garage was too high. It clearly states $14, but when you pay its $19.

Pros: The location was great and the hotel decor was a lot of fun. The beds were super comfortable and the gym was much nicer than I expected which was a plus. Overall we were pleased with the hotel.
Cons: The bathrooms are very small which so if you have two people getting ready at the same time its a bitt difficult. We also tried to use the hotel shuttle twice - supposed to go anywhere within a 3 mile radius - but never had any luck

Pros: I was so disappointed with this W. I have stayed at many W hotels before and this one definitely did not meet any expectations. When we arrived in our room, there were dirty glasses, we were relaxing on our beautiful terrace but the door kept locking us out. The water pressure in the shower was horrible and the room was beyond basic. The next day we went shopping and came back to our room around 3:30pm. It was not cleaned. We told the W staff about all of this and they offered us free room service or drinks. We lied down for a nap and as soon as we fell asleep (around 4:30pm) there was a Knock on the door to wake us up and ask if we wanted our room clean...ruined our nap and relaxation We had brought wine and had dinner reservations so the offer for drinks or Room service did not interest us. We went for breakfast the next day on them, but I really cannot believe nothing else was done to compensate this experience. This hotel acted like a trashy motel.

Pros: That it was right across the street from WFAA station. Very nice hotel there were just couple of room issues for me.
Cons: 1. Very surprised to see the bathroom was open and door was a curtain with a bed basically right behind sick and bathtub??? 2. No coffee maker in room. Nice having coffee downstairs but I prefer to relax and have 1-2 cups before coming down.

Pros: I love the fact that it is so close to the American Airlines Center. It's literally next door. And it's in a great location so many things are near by like the 6th Floor Museum, JFK memorial and Reunion Tower.
Cons: The walls are a bit thin. You can hear people walking down the hall. But really can't complain. It's like if you ever live in an apartment you know the echoing effect it can have in hallways.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to American Airlines Arena. Front desk female clerk was excellent at our check in
Cons: Not keen on entering the room straight into the bathroom. Could be quite a privacy issue when someone enters the room. Have never seen a room set up like this before, a little strange, but we coped

Pros: While the room was not super luxurious - for a business trip - it was perfect. Rather a NYC loft feel (hence the name) with modern vibe. I had a nice view of some of the Dallas skyline. I do believe they really are green conscious - with a little recycle bin in the room so I didn't have to feel guilty about water bottles being tossed. Very close to the convention center and Main Street where we found some nice eateries and pubs (a five minute walk). Super friendly staff from the front desk to the bartender at the lounge. At the end of the day, the bed was very comfortable and I slept well.

Cons: Door wouldn't close to our rest room and they could not fix nor change our room. Also, the night stand table had an outlet in it for alarm clock and the power did not work. Again, they couldn't fix it.

The elevators were fast, water was hot, good sized room, the temperature control was awesome. The beds are comfortable. All amenities were as expected, no problems.
Cons: After staying at the Magnolia in Houston I expected much more. The countertops in the bathroom were formica, the floor tile work in the bathroom was repaired, the baseboards needed recaulking. The furniture was not in stellar condition, lots of scrapes. I expected a lot more for $250 a night. Outside of 3 antique pieces of furniture, there’s not a lot of difference between this room and a room at the Hampton Inn.

Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Construction on the hotel prevented sleeping past 630. It also made working from the room impossible. Housekeeping ignored the privacy please tag on the door both days i stayed there. The wifi in my room was unusable.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The was minimal wait times for elevators for a building with 27 floors. The cookies and milk at night were a great treat.
Cons: The Hotel is not kid friendly. There is no pool. The only option for parking was overpriced valet, $35 a night. I m not sure how the hotel received a 4 star rating. There was nothing fancy about it and the rooms are small and slightly dingy/dirty.
