Pros: The new tower is quiet and modern. The lobby of he old tower is bigger and more luxurious but my understanding is the rooms are older although I never saw them.
Cons: They seemed to have certain websites blocked since Internet was working fine but some sites would not work in the hotel. Very strange.

Cons: The only staff that speaks English is the front desk, so if you want room service, laundry, or anything fixed by maintenance, you have to call the front desk and hope they aren't busy.

Cons: Hot water was not working on a few afternoons. Breakfast was not great, but there are several good breakfast places nearby.

Cons: Bait and switch. Being told one price, getting on a plane, then being told it was twice as much. No control over heat. Smears of make up and marks on doors. Poor ventilation in bathrooms that leaves the rooms smelling musty. Phone was pick pocketed. Friend had three girls attack and rob him. Diarrhea every damn day.

Cons: Claim a 5 star hotel it's a joke. I would not say that is a disaster but price does not worth the old facilities from the 70's. Standard room is not update, old toilets and broken furnisher. Hello? This is not what I would expect on a Sheraton but not even on a 5 star hotel. The area is not the best in the city. I truly recommend you any boutique hotel brand new in Palermo and half price. This probably was one of the best hotels in BA but not any more.
