Cons: - Only negative is the internet. Wifi signal is weak and keeps disconnecting. In my case I was forced to connect via cable (to a far socket, as the close ones were damaged). That's the only negative for this hotel. everything else is perfect.

Personable, attentive, pleasant & professional. Hotel may be older but still a grand experience . Fresh flowers in room, tea kettle in room along with robes & slippers. Wine store IN Hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent (included mimosa's/cava!). Hotel restaurant so good, had dinner at Hotel several times. (the "warm" salad was fantastic). Lobby decor & ambiance are beautiful, you definitely feel like you've 'arrived' with the Doorman & Concierge staff at your service. Hotel smells so so good!! Health club opens early & steam/sauna were great way to start & finish the day. Beautiful stay Beautiful Hotel. We will be back!

Cons: Hotel Health club a wee bit 'tired' in spots & men's sauna not hot enough (one of two heating elements has been out of order for months, according to a few reg gym club members). We had requested tea packets to be sent up to room (hadn't been done earlier in day when room was made up) one eve but that didn't happen. Really minute details & complaints on my part though I must say.

Cons: The hotel has charged extra 45.000 pesos as a security and did not release it even after the payment. Total disappointment. I had to deal with my bank and law firms in Buenos Aires.. Also it is not a good location for tourists. It seems good for business travelers.

It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

The hotel is right near the "obelisk." It's centrally located which makes it ideal. Quick cab rides to all the barrios.

Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.

Cons: Nothing about this hotel is 5 stars except the location. The service is bad, breakfast gets repetitive if you stay longer than 2 nights, and the rooms are nothing special. I had an argument with the breakfast staff because on a day when it was particularly crowded, we were waitlisted to be seated and were placed in the bar area while we waited. The breakfast crew simply forgot about us and after a 45 minutes wait when tables became available they started seating other people ahead of us. Oh, and if you want decent expresso coffee you need to pay extra.

Pros: This place is impressive. The building is beautiful and just walking through the common areas is already a good experience. The room is large and even better than they look in the photos. The jacuzzi is very big and works very well. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap on big flasks, which is also nice! The bed is very comfortable, and our room had a beautiful view of the patio. The neighborhood is also amazing. San Telmo is very cozy, with very good restaurants nearby. For example, La Puerta Roja is just nearby and has very good draft beer and food for a very reasonable price (actually really cheap for lunch for the quality of the food you get). The staff is very helpful and woke us at 2:45 in the morning as per our request to get to the airport in time for our 5am flight. This was a serious highlight for our trip and I could say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed. If you're coming to Buenos Aires, spend a night at this hotel, it'll be worth your while.

The property is in a good central location for exploring the city, the bedrooms are in the back of the building so nice and quiet at night. Pros: This place is impressive. The building is beautiful and just walking through the common areas is already a good experience. The room is large and even better than they look in the photos. The jacuzzi is very big and works very well. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap on big flasks, which is also nice! The bed is very comfortable, and our room had a beautiful view of the patio. The neighborhood is also amazing. San Telmo is very cozy, with very good restaurants nearby. For example, La Puerta Roja is just nearby and has very good draft beer and food for a very reasonable price (actually really cheap for lunch for the quality of the food you get). The staff is very helpful and woke us at 2:45 in the morning as per our request to get to the airport in time for our 5am flight. This was a serious highlight for our trip and I could say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed. If you're coming to Buenos Aires, spend a night at this hotel, it'll be worth your while.
Cons: We can't comment on the breakfast, but it was expensive to get it through booking (since we wouldn't use it our second day as we left by 3am) and it was about 300 pesos per person to get it, which was a bit expensive. The jacuzzi in our room had not been turned on for a while, maybe, and it expelled some small bits of what looked like water pipe fungi when we turned it on for the first time. This didn't ruin our experience, though, we just emptied it and filled it over again and had a delicious warm bath.

Pros: Perfectly located close to the heart of San Telmo, the hotel has an interesting setting of rooms around a patio. Our room (one of the largest) was comfortable with high ceiling. The breakfast room is a trendy "deli" which offers decent food all day long. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient - organizing transfers, recommending and booking a show fir us.
Cons: Lack of natural lighting in the room & limited possibility to have fresh air in the room (only one small window close to the entrance door). The room, although clean, already shows some ageing and needs some details fixing of bathroom appliances. Not enough power points (especially since on is in the wardrobe ! ;-)) and non close to bed which nowadays is a problem.

Pros: This property has 24 hr Receptionist on duty. The staff on reception and in general were very helpful and pleasant and helped us with any queries we had. The property is in a good central location for exploring the city, the bedrooms are in the back of the building so nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was served in a cafe at the front of the property and had very good choices. I highly recommend this property and staff.
Cons: I had no negative issue at all. Everything was satisfactory. We felt safe and comfortable at this property. The receptionists spoke good English. There was a very good Sunday market a few streets away. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. We visited a very good Tango Theatre by booking at Reception, they came and collected us and dropped us back and we had dinner at the Theatre also -Almacin Theatre.

Pros: The extremely spacious room and bed with high ceilings. It also had good amenities, such as extra towels and bath robes. The external patio was lovely. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Cons: I would prefer to have a bit cleaner room with more up-to-date equipment and infrastructure. The bathroom was on the verge of crumbling. There was an intense red light by a multi-plugger right under the desk that reflects directly on one's face when lying in bed. Moreover, the internet could be a bit faster.

Pros: It’s really gorgeous. Like a big house bc it once was. Wished it was warmer so I can take advantage of the rooftop pool and the outside patios area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need anything. Just ask. So many cool bars around the hotel too. Like the garage bar, the red door, the corner pub with great beers.
Cons: The room (mine at least) was a bit cold for me even win the heater. Took a while for it to warm up. Some rooms can be smaller but good enough for one person. We had a great room that was good for two of us to be comfortable for many nights.

Pros: Very hip, great location, charming old building but completely remodeled units. The staff is superb. Always smiling and helpful with anything we needed, including call a taco that would accept credit cards. They also held our six pieces of luggage when we checked out for hours until it was time to head to the airport. Check out time is at noon which is rare anywhere. The deli attached to the hotel has a good breakfast option, not included in hotel charge though. The area of San Telmo is a great location, charming and within walking distance of major attractions and points of interest.

Pros: The location near the obelisk is great for those wanting to walk around and see the tourist attractions, you're right in the heart of the city. However, you're paying primarily for the location. The photos on the web look much nicer than the rooms actually are. Carpets are dirty, drapes are old, windows open all the way on all floors so be careful if booking with children (think opposite of Las Vegas windows). The staff is friendly but speaks very little English, and the wifi is very spotty on the upper floors. No wifi at some parts of the day and in some parts of the hotel. The bathroom was clean, but if you're looking for a very nice hotel in this area you're going to have to pay more. This is a "value" hotel for this neighborhood. It does provide a great view of the obelisk, however.

Pros: The hotel was acceptable, breakfast was good. The beds were not the most comfortable but acceptable. the views from the façade of the Hotel was good, but our stay in the other room was not too good no view. The keeping of luggage whilst away to Iguazu was a very good gesture from the Hotel.
Cons: we deferred our stay but was not advised to book in advance for our return stay. on arrival for a further nights stay we were charged double the amount compared to our 2 night stay. if advised that the pricing could change we would have surely booked in advance.

Pros:
Cons: I booked a room with breakfast included, but it was not. WiFi did not work. Only one receptionist... could not handle the traffic. Very poor acoustic insulation... the noise from the road below was a nuisance.

Pros: The location near the obelisk is great for those wanting to walk around and see the tourist attractions, you're right in the heart of the city. However, you're paying primarily for the location. The photos on the web look much nicer than the rooms actually are. Carpets are dirty, drapes are old, windows open all the way on all floors so be careful if booking with children (think opposite of Las Vegas windows). The staff is friendly but speaks very little English, and the wifi is very spotty on the upper floors. No wifi at some parts of the day and in some parts of the hotel. The bathroom was clean, but if you're looking for a very nice hotel in this area you're going to have to pay more. This is a "value" hotel for this neighborhood. It does provide a great view of the obelisk, however.
Cons: The wifi was weak. The rooms were in need of updating and deeper cleaning.

Pros: Great location, our room looked out at the Obilisk. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Staff on reception are lovely and helpful.
Cons: The hotel seems a little rundown - crumbled plaster in the hallway, for example. The WiFi in the rooms doesn't work so we had to keep going down to reception.

Pros: Breakfast was good and the location was excellent.
Cons: First I did not like that there was no one to help us with our luggage at the door. Second the rooms are too small no space to walk around. Third the Wifi in the rooms is extremely awful was not able to do any work on my laptop. The only place there is a better Wifi connection is in the lobby. The only staff that was very helpful too us was Silvio at the reception desk is too bad that he works the night shift.
