Cons: They seemed to have certain websites blocked since Internet was working fine but some sites would not work in the hotel. Very strange.

Therefore 6 nights only US$540. - (I had stayed there for 5 nights 3 weeks earlier and was quoted and received the same terms. Both rooms were large, comfortable (huge double beds) and impeccably clean. I I felt safe, was treated fairly, and was impressed by the honesty and courtesy of the staff, and the security measures in the Hotel, Good value for money.

Pros: The pool & buffet breakfast were amazing! It was a chilly day in Buenos Aires so the indoor heated pool was very nice and I definitely put that to use. It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

The breakfast was great the first day, however by the 5th day I was craving something else! Good selection of food, the scrambled eggs were runny. It's free so these are minor complaints. The hotel is right near the "obelisk." It's centrally located which makes it ideal. Quick cab rides to all the barrios.

Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.

Cons: I stayed two nights, the first night I was assigned an old room with an old carpet, full of stains, extremely poor lighting, a bathtub with cracks and holes, a partly rotten cabinet. I thought of leaving the hotel. I spoke to the reception manager and for the second night I was moved to a room that was, simply, perfect. Make sure you request a renovated room! Anyway, why do they keep such old and unclean rooms?

Cons: They charge for the internet, for the water in the room,for the coffee machine in the room, and they charged me $20 US dollars for a collect call to my credit card company. Given that this is one of the more expensive hotels in Buenos Aires, this type of nickel and diming of guests is offensive. When you enter the hotel there are always 5 or 6 people waiting to open the door, yet when I could not set up the wireless connection and was connected to the business center,no one answered the phone-prefer having good service rather than the appearance of good service. The gym, which is advertised as state of the art, consists of a few treadmills and bikes and a universal machine and a few dumbells.Shower took 15 mins to get warm.

Cons: There are a lot of elevators, which all ring a very loud bell when arriving at reguested floors. When you are in a room close to the elevators you gone have problems with sleeping. Some rooms have an extra door that keeps the sound away. The rooms are not really big, not even the suites or more upmarket rooms.

From the rooms that face the street, you can open the window and look down on some of the street entertainment taking place on the corner of Florida.

Cons: We were expecting a '4 Star' property as it claims to be but received nothing even close. Our room did not have functioning AC and it was HOT, the room was tiny and seemed like it was rarely cleaned, the elevators were tiny and always full, the staff were extremely strict on the checkout time and ignored an attempt I made before arriving to adjust my reservation. For the money, there are far better hotels in BA and we will certinally be staying at them next time.

Cons: The double room we had booked was not available, so we had to stay in a twin room. The staff said the beds would be joined, what never happened, even though we asked again the next morning. Also, the linens for one of the beds were initially missing, which we were given a request, but we had to make the bed ourselves.

Cons: The free wireless internet was available only in the lobby and you wait while the receptionist goes through a cumbersome process to get an access code, only to find out it's good for one hour. I didn't like that the beds were all twin-size, even if you have 3 people. When I asked for a double-size bed, there was nothing available unless I wanted to pay quite a bit more. I didn't like that the mini-fridge is locked and you have to ask to have it opened. Also, I would have preferred that the "included" breakfast be available until 11am or so. We didn't get going early enough in the mornings, after enjoying late evening dinners out on the town in Argentine fashion, to take advantage of it. The only reason I might not recommend this hotel is because there are so many to choose from in that area - you might get all the advantages without the disadvantages somewhere else.

Pros: It was clean, good Internet, good breakfast.
Cons: I spoke in Spanish as much as possible, but my Spanish is weak. I felt some disdain for having to speak English with me by some employees. The bell man took advantage of my poor Spanish to call for some kind of taxi when there were many he could have stopped on the street - I was in a hurry to get to the airport. I believe I received a room upgrade. So some staff were good and others were not.

Pros: Lovely hotel. Really enjoyed the decor and the feel of the hotel.We are actually coming back, we enjoyed it so much. Need to think through the organisation of self service at breakfast. You need more than 1 service point or at least a different one for coffee refills etc.I enjoy hotels which have a hint of grandeur and history.
Cons: Some desk staff are great and welcoming. Others might like to improve on their attitude to guests.

Pros: Good breakfast, good staff, willing to answer questions about directions and such, always helpful to help getting taxis.
Cons: Room in itself looked better on the website than on real life. Hotel is a bit old and it shows a little in the accommodation, specially in the bathroom. They are working on it though, entrance and hallways look very sharp.

Cons: It is certainly not a 4* hotel at least not the room I was in. However, in view of the price (90 $) i was not expecting a lot more.

Cons: The hotel room was completely different than it was on the pictures, it was old and dated and i wouldnt have bookt it if i would have know howthe rooms acctually looked like.

Pros: We had an unexpected room upgrade (which was great). Staff were very polite and friendly (when avaialbe). The location of the hotel is in a safe and good area for tourists. Room was well cleaned each day.
Cons: Breakfeast was a chaos (no plates/cups at times, not much staff). Food would not be re-supplied when eneded. Hotel is oldish (but Clasical, which goes with the B.A experience). Rates are ok (not the best).
Located in El Centro, this spa hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Barolo Palace and Florida Street. Obelisco and Plaza de Mayo are also within 15 minutes. Lima Station is only a 2-minute walk and Mayo Avenue Station is 2 minutes.

Pros: There are two things that come to mind. First, the staff was very courteous and helpful. Could not have asked for better customer service from them. Also, the view from our room on the 5th floor to the avenue below was beautiful, especially at night.

Cons: In general the hotel needs re-decoration but is adequate for business purposes if a central location is required.

Cons: Our recent booking, we booked a double room with a double bed and recieved a room with single beds. Not happy about this.

Cons: My colleague had a room at the back looking at a dark wall - rather dingy and cramped. Swimming pool only operates in 'summer season' (I.E. European winter time).

Cons: The rooms are small. If you have luggage more than carry ons you have difficult time in moving in the room.

Cons: The breakfast buffet was the wost organised I have ever experienced. The last day I had to go outside to get breakfast. The table were not cleaned after people left resulting in insufficient places. The food was not replenished in time and the staff clearly misses supervision. Horrible !
