Cons: There were never enough people at the reception counter. I was kept waiting more than once. Upon arrival I had to carry my own bags into the hotel, as there was no one outside to help me.

I like the location: the area ranging from the Plaza de Mayo all the way up to Recoleta contains a lot that interests me. I enjoy sitting on a bench in Plaza San Martin and listening to the birds and the city while reading something thoughtful and contemplating life. It's nice too to have within walking range a number of nice restaurants. The hotel staff was glad to advise me and make suggestions. The servers in the hotel restaurant treated me like a friend. I believe I have found my place to stay in Buenos Aires.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would have liked to swim with the roof open since it was warm out and the roof was not retracted. It was summer time so I figured they would have opened it up. Not a big issue and it more than made up for it in every other way.

Pros: From check in to check out, great service throughout. A nice breakfast of eggs, toast, yogurts, cold cuts, cereals, juice, coffee and even champage (or so we thought as we didn't partake). They have a VERY small workout room and spa upstairs. The room we had was spacious and very grand - befitting of a building that was owned by Evita. The lobby was beautiful. They even allowed held our luggage and let us shower at the spa prior to us leaving on a late 9 PM flight. We would stay again.

Cons: The Recoleta area is very nice and is where some wealthy people live. However, it offers very little in the way of nightlife. There are a few restobars around the Cemetery but nothing like Palermo. If you want ready access to lots of bars, restaurants and clubs, you should probably not stay here.

Cons: There was nothing bad - just a few small touches that fell short when compared with other places I’ve stayed. The decor was a bit dated throughout the building. We got twin beds even though we were a couple. Our toilet clogged the second time we used it. The furniture was padded with carpet cutouts beneath on the hardwood floor but it looked just a little unkempt. The toiletries weren’t the nicest quality and the hair dryer was cheap and ended up singeing my hair. These are small things and not huge in the grand scheme of things, but enough to make me reconsider booking for next time.

Cons: Breakfast was somewhat repetitive and whether hot or cool air is available is decided centrally which makes it a bit difficult if (like us) you want cool air even though the temperature outside is on the cool side.

We had to extend stay due to illness and required late room cleaning and it was no problem and met cheerfully. At Plaza hotel 3 months ago, if you were not out of your room by 2pm, forget having it cleaned or fresh towels and that claims to be a 5 star. The room is large, mini suite at a near economy price. You can spend a lot more at other hotels for little difference and you can spend a little less and get a lot less. Our room is 3 times the size for only $20 per day difference than the last ostensible 4 star. This hotel borders on 5 star.

Cons: They charge for the internet, for the water in the room,for the coffee machine in the room, and they charged me $20 US dollars for a collect call to my credit card company. Given that this is one of the more expensive hotels in Buenos Aires, this type of nickel and diming of guests is offensive. When you enter the hotel there are always 5 or 6 people waiting to open the door, yet when I could not set up the wireless connection and was connected to the business center,no one answered the phone-prefer having good service rather than the appearance of good service. The gym, which is advertised as state of the art, consists of a few treadmills and bikes and a universal machine and a few dumbells.Shower took 15 mins to get warm.

Pros: We have travelled a fair bit and its the first hotel that have a policie no outside food or drinks allowed. (Acceptable if the hotel as a restaurant, but ut was not the case) We soon realized, on Christmas eve, all restaurant booked with reservation so we opted to buy a pizza and go back to the room. Well to our suprise the night clerk was very rude and obnoxious in refusing us to bring the pizza to the room. It was quite disappointing. We sat on the curb and enjoyed a slice and then gave it to people on the street. All to say , had we known that ahead we would not have rented this place. Very old, dated and cleanliness is less then desirable. Mildew in bathroom, ac was not cooling the place let alone we requested a second key so we could keep the unit on while away, and that was also an issue and a drama to get the key. All to say there is lots of hotel in BA and this is not one we would recommend.

Cons: Very basic poor room/hotel. Pictures in website/booking don't correspond to reality. Restaurant doesn't even function and is in the middle of hotel hall. Breakfast is served in another horrible empty room with uggly metal chairs, no windows and poor food. I had to have breakfast at a coffee shop to have a basic breakfast. Facilities are worn out and dirty. Wifi didn't work on most of the days and costs are related to 12h that can be used for 24hours. Staff is rude and doesn't accept critiques. Cover is a a thin cutout piece. Towels have an offwhite look and they always forget to replace them. Don't stay at this hotel. It's what you would except from a 2 star hotel in internacional standards. You can get better value for your money.

Pros: My stay at Loi Suites, Recoleta hotel was an absolute delight on both occasions- December 12 and january 1. Both times I had a bright, clean, well-appointed room. Comfortable seating and ample desk space and a comfortable bed.
Late on December 12 night, I turned off the AC and opened the window on the ninth floor overlooking a bustling, shopping city preparing for the Christmas holidays. The symphony of car horns, people laughing, sirens in the distance and the swell of air conditioning units lulled me to sleep to dream of the happy, busy environs.
The people behind the desk could not have been more polite and accommodating. I had arrived early but my room was available and I was escorted there my a helpful young man toting my very heavy bag. I had a n opportunity to walk around this lovely area of Buenos Aries- my first visit to this delightful city.
The breakfast room and lobby very bright and inviting . I spent most of my second visit reading in the spacious lobby while waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport and home.
My fond memories of Buenos Aires are enveloped in my stay at Loi Suites.
Thank you so much for such a memorable visit to you city.

Pros: My stay at Loi Suites, Recoleta hotel was an absolute delight on both occasions- December 12 and january 1. Both times I had a bright, clean, well-appointed room. Comfortable seating and ample desk space and a comfortable bed.
Late on December 12 night, I turned off the AC and opened the window on the ninth floor overlooking a bustling, shopping city preparing for the Christmas holidays. The symphony of car horns, people laughing, sirens in the distance and the swell of air conditioning units lulled me to sleep to dream of the happy, busy environs.
The people behind the desk could not have been more polite and accommodating. I had arrived early but my room was available and I was escorted there my a helpful young man toting my very heavy bag. I had a n opportunity to walk around this lovely area of Buenos Aries- my first visit to this delightful city.
The breakfast room and lobby very bright and inviting . I spent most of my second visit reading in the spacious lobby while waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport and home.
My fond memories of Buenos Aires are enveloped in my stay at Loi Suites.
Thank you so much for such a memorable visit to you city.

Pros: Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and always treated us with the upmost courtesy and concern. The room was very nice and the housekeeping staff outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Buenos Aires. It was both elegant and comfortable.

Cons: During our last day in the hotel we forgot our pen drive at the computer which was intended for the use of the guests.in this pen drive we have had all of our pictures from our honeymoon in argentina(more than 4,000 pictures).we called the hotel and also sent them E-MAILS,but they didn't do their best in finding our pen drive.we tried calling THEm so they will look for it,but the english at the reception was not good. we FeLt like the man in the front desk didn't understend us or maybe he didn't LOOK.The pictures we had in that pen drive worth more than anything for us and still we felt like they didn't do their best by serching for our pen DRIVE,and it left us so disappointed. once you are not their geust they don't care about you!!!
