Cons: There was nothing bad - just a few small touches that fell short when compared with other places I’ve stayed. The decor was a bit dated throughout the building. We got twin beds even though we were a couple. Our toilet clogged the second time we used it. The furniture was padded with carpet cutouts beneath on the hardwood floor but it looked just a little unkempt. The toiletries weren’t the nicest quality and the hair dryer was cheap and ended up singeing my hair. These are small things and not huge in the grand scheme of things, but enough to make me reconsider booking for next time.

Cons: Breakfast was somewhat repetitive and whether hot or cool air is available is decided centrally which makes it a bit difficult if (like us) you want cool air even though the temperature outside is on the cool side.

Pros: The remolding was very nice and they now have a full time restaurant. All staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had to extend stay due to illness and required late room cleaning and it was no problem and met cheerfully. At Plaza hotel 3 months ago, if you were not out of your room by 2pm, forget having it cleaned or fresh towels and that claims to be a 5 star. The room is large, mini suite at a near economy price. You can spend a lot more at other hotels for little difference and you can spend a little less and get a lot less. Our room is 3 times the size for only $20 per day difference than the last ostensible 4 star. This hotel borders on 5 star.

Cons: They charge for the internet, for the water in the room,for the coffee machine in the room, and they charged me $20 US dollars for a collect call to my credit card company. Given that this is one of the more expensive hotels in Buenos Aires, this type of nickel and diming of guests is offensive. When you enter the hotel there are always 5 or 6 people waiting to open the door, yet when I could not set up the wireless connection and was connected to the business center,no one answered the phone-prefer having good service rather than the appearance of good service. The gym, which is advertised as state of the art, consists of a few treadmills and bikes and a universal machine and a few dumbells.Shower took 15 mins to get warm.

Pros: The location was perfect for what we had planned to do in Buenos Aires. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance, and if not, taxis are very cheap in the city. The staff was very helpful in getting more information for me. They looked up an address of a specific restaurant that I had in mind, and told me how to get there...and they took care of all the logistics for booking a Gaucho Ranch excursion. They had 2 computers available in the lobby with free access to the internet, which was just perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was a good buffet...nothing amazing, but it did the trick.

Cons: Nothing horrible, but the hallway and rooms were too warm for our liking, and being the winter time still (Sep 7-10) I don't think the air conditioning was turned on, just the fan worked. We made due by opening the window a crack behind the drapes, and cooled the room just enough, and kept our wine cool behind there too.

(Acceptable if the hotel as a restaurant, but ut was not the case) We soon realized, on Christmas eve, all restaurant booked with reservation so we opted to buy a pizza and go back to the room. Well to our suprise the night clerk was very rude and obnoxious in refusing us to bring the pizza to the room. It was quite disappointing. We sat on the curb and enjoyed a slice and then gave it to people on the street. All to say , had we known that ahead we would not have rented this place. Very old, dated and cleanliness is less then desirable. Mildew in bathroom, ac was not cooling the place let alone we requested a second key so we could keep the unit on while away, and that was also an issue and a drama to get the key. All to say there is lots of hotel in BA and this is not one we would recommend.

Cons: Hotel has old type of rooms with carpets on the whole floor (Which is not good for hygiene) and small comparing to big ones. I do not have money concern as this was business trip for 2 nights. No view ,if the rooms are located at the back of the hotel. Especially on 2nd and 3th floor are little scary at nite. Plus these old rooms pictures are not in the booking .com web pages. After explaining this situation to the front desk , they moved me to a new room ( no carpet on the floor with a new tv) with street view on 9th floor. This is fine, but took my 1 hour to make it happen. After flying 20 hours plus 5 hours on the ground that 1 hour is really important on your arrival!!! Special thanks to Emiliano to front desk worker.

Cons: Very basic poor room/hotel. Pictures in website/booking don't correspond to reality. Restaurant doesn't even function and is in the middle of hotel hall. Breakfast is served in another horrible empty room with uggly metal chairs, no windows and poor food. I had to have breakfast at a coffee shop to have a basic breakfast. Facilities are worn out and dirty. Wifi didn't work on most of the days and costs are related to 12h that can be used for 24hours. Staff is rude and doesn't accept critiques. Cover is a a thin cutout piece. Towels have an offwhite look and they always forget to replace them. Don't stay at this hotel. It's what you would except from a 2 star hotel in internacional standards. You can get better value for your money.

Cons: Claim a 5 star hotel it's a joke. I would not say that is a disaster but price does not worth the old facilities from the 70's. Standard room is not update, old toilets and broken furnisher. Hello? This is not what I would expect on a Sheraton but not even on a 5 star hotel.

I truly recommend you any boutique hotel brand new in Palermo and half price.
